@pastor next time, think before you type. You are not the only one that got the white man's education cuz one way or the other, we all did. As for me, I am a revolutionay. I want to give the African man a sense of belonging. A reason to stand out in America and say his native name without shame. But today, you church people have spoilt everything. Evrything have been westernised. A man went to baptise his daughter in the church. When asked of the name he wants to give to the child, he said Onyinye. The clergy reprimanded him and they settled at Gift. Gift and Onyiny are still the same meaning. Is this not ignorance? Sort it out for yourself. 1 Like |

Kay 17:Life is like a book, the more you read, the more you learn. When you discover knowledge, you change and upgrade to the better and that is what I call REFORMATION. It is everywhere and not just in African Tradition. Do the Jews not kill adulterous women in those days? Was it not ignorance, darkness and blindness? But Christ reformed it. Did it stop the Jews from practicing Judaism? Abraham nearly killed his only son in the name of sacrifice. So, we no longer endulge in human sacrifice because we have reformed. 1 Like |

poweredcom:I can see you are observant, I give you kudos for that. But if you were more observant, you whould have noticed what I said in the last line, " SO, MY FELLOW IGBOS AND AFRICANS, IT'S TIME TO GO HOME". But the reason I emphasised on Igbo is because I am an Igbo man, and I understand my culture better than any other culture. So, thanks for the correction, and as a reward, I'm heading straight to your blog. 1 Like |

Pastor AIO:I don't know if you are a real pastor or just fronting by putting that title to your name. I didn't post that topic for intelectual and logical reasoning. Rather, I wrote it because it's what I believe in. Talking about my being political, there is no way you can talk about religion without being political. Who were those that conspired against Christ and had him crucified, were they not the Chief Priests? The highest ranking people in the church. Contrary to what you or your kind may think, Pontius Pilate and Herod have nothing to do with it. So, the conspiracy that got Christ killed was political and it was planned by religious leaders. Why did England pull out from Rome, was it not politcs? I won't go into details on that cuz you of all people ought to know that, since you claimed to be an intelectual. Francais Cardinal Arinze would have been the Pope today if not for the black skin. Why was that so Mr. Pastor, politics. Let me stop here for now and give you a chance to redeem you dignity and honur as an African, that is if you have any left. Whenever you so called church goers see us, you will think we are illiterates. Bring it on Mr. Shakespare and this particular "illiterate" here will take you on it cuz I am by far, more learned than you think. 1 Like |

lagerwhenindoubt:and who are those that benefitted from the slavery? In those days, even the so called bishops have slaves. They claim celibacy but have many concubines. Even before priests began to marry in England, many of them have kids and "wives", they only have to make their wives official after pulling out from Rome. 1 Like |

It's okay if you don't want to hug, but let others be. If God doesn't like it, then let Him fight for himself. Period. Religion ko, Sharia ni |

Religion / Igbos Should Come Back To Their Traditional Religion by Stankoko(m): 11:10am On Oct 28, 2010 |
I'm not saying Christianity is not okay but Igbo traditional religion is not bad irrespective of what the colonial masters made us to believe. When the Christians or Catholic honour the white men and make them patron saints, why can't I honour my fore fathers. Christians mould images of their saints, why can't I mould the statue of my fathers? Or is the sainthood only reserved for the oyibo. I'm an Igbo man and I love my culture and religion because it is who I am; and without it, I am nothing. So, my fellow Igbos and Africa, its time to go home. 1 Like |

What do you expect from a man who comes from a poor background and suddenly bump into fame and stardom. The fame and stardom will actually bump into his head and this is what actually happened to Idibia. One of the reasons being that he lacked good up-bringing. |
Religion / Re: Jesus Is A Prophet Of God And Not A God : Bible by Stankoko(m): 5:04pm On Mar 04, 2010 |
uplawal:you muslims love to insult Jesus everyday but just a drawing abt muhammed in Denmark, u started killing innocent Christians. I' ll give u a lil bit of what u gave me, after all is it not an eye for an eye? We all know that Muhammed is a terrorist who shove Islam down people's throat. I heard someone saying we all worship the same God but it's a lie. Uplawal, my God is not ur God! My God didn't tell me to kill my fellow human being whether a believer or not to inherit 72 virgins in heaven. Since u are a woman, I guess u are going to inherit 72 male virgins or probably female virgins and practice lesbianism there. I guess u are already fuming by now cuz u muslims don't know how to take a blow below the belt. But I' m not through with you yet, since you asked for it. I got one NEWSFLASH for u, THERE ARE NO MORE VIRGINS IN HAEVEN! So stop killing people! I guess u are fuming right now and feel like bombing something. Well, go and bomb The nearest mosque to u. Make it suicidal cuz the 72 virgins can't wait to rape u! Muslim Bastards!!! No hard feelings but if u can't take a blow, don't hit! |

Beaf:is that what you think? Those men are there for their tribes. It's the truth and you know that. So, why are you covering up? Can u just tell me where u came from so I can know how to start talking to you. If you are a Northerner, don't even think about replying! |
Politics / Re: SSS Ransacks Jonathans Office by Stankoko(m): 3:33pm On Mar 03, 2010 |
The Yorubas have no right to talk here. Let the Igbos do the talking for it was they who fought the northerners. It was because of them that the White man handed over Nigeria to the Northerners. The Yorubas always stick with the King. The Niger-Deltans were confused during the war. They failed to recognise their heritage in the sense that they weren't there when they were needed. If salvation is going to come again, it's coming from the East. This time, we won't fight with guns, we will fight with our heads cuz our heads do not bow to no man! Igbo kwenu!!! |
Poems For Review / NE-ME-SIS (a poem written by Stanley Ejiogu, a renowned writer and columnist. by Stankoko(m): 4:38pm On Mar 02, 2010 |
NE-ME-SIS Don't want to end up like my friends of' course Gone of a just course I shall not grieve so much For one way or the other, we shall all go as such And when I have to go, it shall be for a reason Though they call it treason The vultures of this earth Always gladdened at the sight of death With no respect for humanity Thinking that life on earth is eternity Vampires! getting so fat on our blood Though it sounds odd But for how long shall you betray a brother? For how long shall you betray a sister? The trust they gave you, you betrayed And in you, I saw no conscience portrayed I see! I see! revolution I see! I see! rebellion I can see blood on the streets I can hear the sound of the drum beats Because when you push a man for so long Violence becomes his song But unto him you blameth not But unto thee who shareth their lot From the mist emerges a traveler And slowly he walks like a toddler But unto his destination, he is no stranger From his manifestation, emanates danger Upon your stair case he tops On your door he stops Knock! knock! on you door he knocks Before you could ask, "who's there"? But a word he could not utter He tried again to say his name, but all he could do was stutter Ne-me-sis Author: Stanley Ejiogu |
Literature / Re: Sun Newspaper Vs Punch Newspaper by Stankoko(m): 2:50pm On Feb 19, 2010 |
The Sun is the number 1 newspaper in Nigeria. In 6 yrs, they achieved what many couldn't do. It speaks for the man in the street. It's not just about the news and entertainment, Let's talk abt their columnists. Is it Duro Onabulue? Or do you want to talk about Mike Awoyinfa who also happens to be the Chief Editor. Try as much as possible to make out a little time to read the back page of Sun every Wednesday and witness Steve Nwosu doing his thing. That guy (Steve) will one day rank as the greatest columnist in the world. Before anybody starts talking bad about the Sun, take a sec and ask yourself, Who faught OBJ's 3rd term agenda to a stand Still? Who shouted Etteh down when she refused to step down? If Gani (may his soul rest in peace) being the human he is steps out of track, who corrects him? And which Paper is the highest selling Newspaper in Nigeria? The Sun ought to be compared with something higher rather than Punch. What and what has the Punch done for the man in the street? You don't just publish because you' ve got a publishing comapany. You publish to make an impact. And the Sun has made that impact. Period. 1 Like |

Poems For Review / Re: Messages From Saudi(poem) by Stankoko(m): 1:20pm On Dec 21, 2009 |
The bird in the poem is a plane from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia. The king termite is Yar'adua while the queen termite is the wife. The hungry termites are Yar'adua's colleagues in government looking for favour and making sure he doesn't resign. The president's wife (queen termite) rules from there. |

I' ll do for him the same thing he did for me. If he prayed for me, then I will pray for him. If he wished me well, then I' ll wish him well. Everyday, I hear seven point agenda on TV and radios but I don't understand the meaning. The agenda does not include health. And now, what goes around has come around. So, let him feel the wrath of God! No hard feelings Sam, it's the truth. |
