Finally, u made sense sha!! But wit ur vulgarity, I see many decent guys 'ASKING' u OUT of dia cars! |
I tellz u! |
thev0ice1:True brother! Partisan? That's d Political modus operandi in Nigeria. APC vs PDP? U can never say that PDP is in any way synonymous with any geopolitical or ethno religious affiliation. Something that can't b said for APC or any other Political Party!! APC is Northern based n biased n Islamic oriented!! APGA is Southeastern based n probably biased n Christian oriented!! Inasmuch as I try to believe (against my best judgement) that Buhari has d best of Nigeria n Nigerians at heart, I still KNOW he's a bigot!! And as pointed out in d post, Oga Jona mumuishly wasted his years in office trying to please those hell bent on kicking him out!! |
apart from d vulgarity, true all d way!! I've always reiterated d fact that we'll regret APC n 2015!! We'll regret voting out d only Pan-Nigerian political party n voting in an ethno-religiously biased Party with a bigot as a President n a spineless mouse as a V.President. we'll regret it, especially we Christians!! |
the guy preceding me is sick!! |
Justice Olufunmilayo Atilade who is the chief justice of Lagos state has ordered the release of 153 prisoners from the Kirikiri maximum and medium prison on Wednesday, April 13. Vanguard reports that the release of the prisoners was an attempt from the government to decongest the prisons. It was reported that 24 inmates were released from the maximum prison while 129 were released from the medium prison. 79 of the prisoners who were released from the minimum prison were standing trial for capital offences while 50 were standing trial for minor offences. Three of the released inmates have been standing trial for over 15 years. Justice Atilade said the release of the prisoners which she ordered was part of her duty to decongest the prisons. She urged the prisoners who have been released to reciprocate the gesture by ensuring that they do not return back to a life of crime. She called for the rehabilitation of the beneficiaries of the amnesty programme and urged relevant stakeholders to see to that. Justice Atilade was accompanied on the visit by senior judges from the state judiciary, officials of the Lagos Ministry of Justice, members of the Nigerian Bar Association, the police and various non-governmental organizations. Mr Seye Oduntan who is the deputy comptroller in charge of Kirikiri maximum prison applauded the chief justice for her gesture and urged that the programme be sustained as more and more inmates qualify for it. Statistic posted on the notice board of the maximum cell showed that the prison with a 1053 capacity currently has 1235 inmates. While 772 of the inmates are awaiting trial, 83 are serving life sentence, 209 have been convicted while 171 are condemned prisoners. At the medium prison which has a 1700 cell capacity, 2853 inmates are currently at the prison. 2726 are awaiting trial, 128 have been convicted, 25 are lodgers, 19 are detainees while only one inmate is condemned |
