The person I'm privileged to be introduced to confirmed everything mentioned on this forum. But he remained sceptical that this exercise is different from all he had seen. So much pressure on DPR to temper with due process. That's why the whole exercise is now taking back seat in the list of their priorities.

He told me not to expect anything soon.

I just wish to share this with anyone who cares to be informed

It's official, successful candidates are been called as of yesterday. I confirmed from 3 sources.
So....

Somehow I feel like he might be right even though he hasn't provided us with proofs at the moment.
Please lets not discourage guys that sacrifice a lot of their resources to come and share privileged information here.

@Smartgrid Is there any update on today's dpr joint meeting with fcc?

I am 101% sure that as at Yesterday, 13/02/2018 No list (GT/EH) has left DPR for fcc. The successful applicants has been selected. But they are still going through rigorous checking and finishing touches.

It's very possible to send the list to fcc from today till the end of the week. And it's possible to get the approval this week as dpr has been complying with fcc at every stage of the recruitment. The certificate of compliance could also be obtain this week and successful emails to roll Next Week.

That's all I know from my little source. You don't have to agree with it. Wishing everyone including myself the best of luck.

I understand your ignorance here, lemme bring you up to speed with what you don't know.

1.i have years of experience with DPR and it's modus operandi as regards recruitment, salaries, upfront up till its pension for retired staff.

2.recruitments have always been the same pattern since 2000/2001 batch, politicians have always influenced it either internally or externally.

3.there is really no much pressure here like the last recruitment where appointment letters came out a year and some months after the interview. Interview was 2011, APLs came Jan 2013,so pls tell me where is the pressure here.Alhaji Shakur happened to be the head HR then while Mrs Khalegha was head CS.

4.Now, I don't just know a handful of them, both serving and retired , I am privilege to know over 60.% of the staff in HR (head quarters). So when I say the list is out believe me it is out.

5. What u need not do is wrapping your brians around what you are not certain about (speculations) but believing and praying that your name or names don't get switched or replaced.. If the formal directors daughter can be replaced under his rule then who are you?

6.Now you should know by now that, I did not just cook this up, I am not new there, I ve got personal experience with em.

7.for the feeble hearted, pls don't let all this rubbish I wrote down here scare you o. Keep the hope alive - goodnight.

You have to understand that alot of water has gone under the bridge. Not all who would have applied, wrote the test, eventually and this thread to a great extent focused only on gt and eh which by the way includes HND. You have erroneously categorized ond and hnd in one.

That said, only few out of the many applicants will get the job and that few may not have the powerto cause a storm in a tea cup. As for the authenticity of the call, i am 300% certain, even today some of them are still been called.So if everything is done with and as a matter of orderliness, onds are been called first, who can guess what follows immediately after ond.... Yes you are correct.

Let me also kindky correct an impression. I have not assumed any role as an informant, i sincerely do not know much more than i am sharing now. I get the info in crescendos.

First of all if the list comes out it is only going to FCC not NASS or minister as some people stated here. FCC is the main character in this selection and their candidates are probably the luckiest because obviously there probably won't be a certificate of compliance if they don't pick their main candidates. Once the certificate of compliance for the list is given any query from any stakeholder e.g minister is going to be with FCC and not DPR so the only people to please is FCC.
Secondly, the only list already drawn and APL even already being typed is OND people. That is probably the list most people here that gave info heard of. They will be called very soon if some haven't even started hearing from them already.
Please stay calm. When the BSC holders list is drawn is not what is important..i mean they can draw up list today and they don't call us for another month so either way we will still wait till we are called abi.. let's keep hoping for the best. I know it won't be a long wait anymore. Will post if and when i get any relevant info.

The reason for the delay I guess is for the good of those (merit) that will make the final list, those without political godfathers... I think they are trying to work on, or control the time interval btw when the interview is conducted and when appointment letters start coming in by January. They are probably trying avoid a second mistake. In the last recruitment, appointment letters came out months after the interview and it was not favorable because the list of successful candidates that was sent to Abuja was not the same list that came back to DPR (list had been tampered with) some top management staff queried the list because they had their kids or candidates names removed and replaced with unknown pple that did not even write the test initially.. They queried it and they were penalized. A typical example was the then Director himself (Mr Andrew Obaje) so I will advice you all calm down and keep praying cos the delay is for the better good of those without political godfathers or helpers... Anyway the Oga Boss (DD corporate service) just resumed office on Thursday, he is the only one that calls the shot as regards this recruitment exercise, no one else does. So let's see what next week has in store for the hopefuls - Good morning.

With this current situation where invites for interview have not been received, now my questions are:
Is the suspected 4th Dec. date for commencement of interview still workable?

Bearing in mind the hectic nature of travels during the yuletide, could Dpr still be able to conduct the interviews deep into December and appointment letters coming in by January?

Hello fellow nairalanders, I also got the email to update my my admission status when it was sent to others but I can't find my name in the LSS list. Please did any other person experience this? What do you advise me to do??

Congratulations to those that made the list.
I was also sent the update e-mail for updating of admission status which several sources said that those that got the e-mail were those that were successful but my name is not on the released list. What could be the problem? Please house I need your advice! This is my first time of posting on nairaland.
