I had prepared very well for this ICAN exam and was so confident after finishing the video lectures twice and answered a lot of past questions and even score 80% in the mock exam I did.

I sit down in the exam hall with a smile on my face that reflects the assurance of someone that is so sure of success. My docket, pen, and calculator were on my table.

As the exam begins, I read through the instructions first, then started solving the questions. I picked up my calculator to do some calculations and to my amazement, my calculator had stopped working….. “Oh my God, I was doomed”, that is what I said in my mind…… I started sweating profusely and I became so disorganized because the course was 90% calculation.


My confidence started dropping and I noticed I started forgetting what I had read….. my brain was going blank.
I summoned courage and decided to quietly borrow a calculator from a lady beside me, but I was caught and sent out of the exam……… I wept like a baby and went home so hopeless.

LESSON 1: A day before your ICAN exam, check your calculator, docket, and writing materials and make sure they are in good condition.

LESSON 2: If you need to do anything with another student, It is safer to ask for permission from the examiner.

Just as a reminder, it is just 14 days to this Diet ICAN exam.

There are lots of activities that could act as a distraction whenever
you are revising for the fourth coming ICAN exams,
funny enough some of these distractions might be unavoidable.
But, you can actually minimize distraction.

Most of the time, notifications from electronic devices
(phones, tablets, laptops, desktops,s and others) only add to the distraction.
In fact, most of us are so used to getting interrupted while studying,
even when there is no notification on our phone, we still check just to be sure.
Seems we have been configured to be distracted…… smile!!!
There are other forms of distractions at work and at home….. we will discuss them all.


These tips may help you to minimize distraction, increase your
focus and assimilation while revising.

1. TURN OFF THE DISTRACTIONS
You may want to turn off all notifications from smartphones and
desktop applications. Consider checking email only four times daily and
handling each inquiry only once.
Controlling your devices and not having that technology control you,
may help reduce distractions and increase your focus and level of assimilation.
You have spent a lot on this exam, so don’t allow anything to deprive you of SUCCESS this diet.

P.S: If you want to improve your focus and level of assimilation while revising,
so as to increase your chances of passing ICAN exam this diet,
then it would be best if you minimized distraction.

This is not a question of placing
the knowledge of SAGE 50 ahead of your
OND, B.Sc or being a Chartered Accountant.

Sometimes our past failure leaves us with unforgettable bitter memories which might make us decide not to write an exam we have failed in the past.
Whenever we want to write the exam again, we will just have a strong feeling that we might not pass.
The irony is that when we tried the exam again, we might eventually fail.

It is 32 days remaining to the ICAN EXAM, this kind of negative thought pattern could be the reason we are struggling to pass ICAN exam.

I had prepared very well for this CITN exam and was so confident after finishing the video lectures twice and answered a lot of past questions and even score 80% in the mock exam I did.

Sitting down in the exam hall with a smile on my face that reflects the assurance of someone that is so sure of success. My docket, pen, and calculator were on my table.

Much like a banker arriving late to the office due to traffic. This is an understandable excuse, yet not a valid one, as it could lead to questioning.


These are some common excuses that might be impeding your preparation for this diet ICAN exam:

• What if I fail again?

• What if the exam doesn't cover what I've studied?

• I lack the financial means.

• I don't have enough time.

• There's no time to prepare.

• I need to take a leave from work to start preparations.

• I recently got married.

• I have a newborn.

• I've experienced repeated failures.

• It seems like ICAN isn't meant for me.

• My situation is spiritual, and I need special prayers.

• I'm afraid without a clear reason.

These EXCUSES are understandable as they reflect our current emotions. However, are these excuses VALID?

The answer is NO; they are merely emotional obstacles. The crucial question you should ask ourselves is,
"What is the SOLUTION?"

Firstly, there must be a CHANGE in your BELIEFS, followed by adopting a system that will DRIVE YOU TOWARDS SUCCESS.

List the excuse that is preventing from writing ICAN exam this diet and think of the solution.
