spade: Abeg, I say this from the bottom of my heart... I really hope Melvin and Beverly are up on Monday so Beverly can finally bounce.

She needs to go before she ruins things for everyone with her big phucking mouth. Already, she's been the one shouting "West Africa Power!!" in front of non-Westerners.

She's just too dumb to know there are certain things you shouldn't say in front of certain people.
This girl no sabi CODE one bit, and she's going to put others in serious trouble.

Let me tell you now... The conspiracy against Nigerians was unwittingly ignited by Beverly's stupiidiity and verbal recklessness.

A good case in point about her lack of wisdom in knowing what to discuss with who, was when she started gossiping about Selly and Pokello immediately after they left on Friday; and she was sooo stupiidd to do this in front of Cleo (Selly's best friend). Cleo then went on to gist Selly about the toxic gossip on Saturday, and that was when Selly began telling Bassey about her history with Beverly.

This girl is completely tactless.
I disagree with the bolded. Do not blame beverly for the other housemates' insecurities and conspiracies..beverly's friends in the house are melvin, bassey and the namibian girls, and not the west africans. She talks about west africans yeah? isn't selly a west african? Bolt nko? Yet she doesn't hide how she feels about selly and bolt to the others. She has not in anyway formed an alliance with west africans, she saved bassey as a friend and not as a west african. Bla bla bla..

Beverly talks too much, agreed..she says a lot of unnecessary things, agreed, but don't put this present house chaos on her.

And I noticed no1 mentioned this on this thread. Before pokello left diamond house, she had a conversation with hakeem in vernacular. I read the interpretation somewhere and it was about telling hakeem to make sure both nigerians were put up next week. It was a kinda lengthy conversation but this is the koko of the conversation. Who would have thought this game would be headed in this direction? *sigh*

I hope they don't do another hoh task for this week when hakeem leaves. Biggie should just transfer power to the 2nd position which is melvin I guess.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 5:10pm On Jul 07, 2013
Feza used to be in my favourite list, I loved her first 2weeks in diamond house and I was even hoping she would just relax and accomodate elikem's offer of a platonic relationship. She was vocal, bubbly and free spirited. She even came across as a very principled and God fearing girl who wouldn't bend her rules or lower her standards. Then she moved to ruby house and did the exact opposite of her so called principles. I still liked her regardless *in nando's voice*..

..And then she turned around to be a very dirty and desperate player of the game. No dirty and desperate player has ever won big brother and hers will not be any different. You can fool your fellow housemates for so long but not africa. People like her end up getting so close to the money but never win. In her own case, I doubt she's ever going to get close to the money. Even natasha is a saint beside feza. See the number of people roped in her lies- melvin, pokello, oneal, elikem. Bba is a game agreed, but we appreciate smooth, intelligent and clean strategist, not hypocrites and overly desperate people.

What is(was) melvin discussing with feza? Anyone watching?
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 8:53am On Jul 07, 2013
*whew*...make person no mention selly again ni? Okay, let me just state a few points.

*beverly did not like selly as a person from week1, NOT because she's ghanaian..matter of fact, most of the housemates did not like her because they did not connect with her, reason she was nominated, she got like 7 that week*

*selly held her first grudge against bev because she did not save her, which doesn't make sense because they were not friends, but she felt bev owed her being a fellow west african*

*selly and annabel's discussion was about nominating nigerians..since she can't do it, let me talk people into doing it and see what they think too*

*last week, beverly nominated pokello and nando, not selly*

*you don't have to like someone because she's from your region if you don't share anything in common or if you can't trust her, heck you don't even have to like your country mate if you don't have common interests. Bev does not trust selly as a person, NOT as a ghanaian*

*the only reason selly hasn't been nominating nigerians is because she was told from home and did not want to go against whatever BS she was told. That rule doesn't make any sense whatsover cos we all already know she wish she could but is trying to appear loyal.

*in short, beverly is not anti-any country, she's only anti- few housemates she can't trust, selly and natasha topping the list. Both she and melvin have never been involved in any discussion about nominating anybody based on country or whatever reason*

*selly on the other hand sees nigerians as a threat and big competition, which is very normal and expected, but because of the fake loyalty she's holding on to, and maybe because of melvin, she's been trying not to show it.

*after last night's incidence, according to reports, she said its now ghana vs nigeria, why not selly vs beverly?..this alone shows she has always been looking for an excuse to be vocal about her bad feelings for nigerians in the competiton*

Lastly, I detest countries back and forth argument like hel-l and I try to avoid it. You can counter my points if you want but trust me to just read and not say a word about it anymore.

Finally! I'm done with the pages...I aff read everything and I have many questions but Make hakeem just go first, and we all will see how monday goes. Like someone mentioned, any1 can show interest in conspiracy, but what happens in the diary room is the koko. Some will participate actively in conspiracies only to end up nominating the instigators, while others with or without conspiracy would nominate melvin or\and bev because its about time, really.

I felt irritated at the sight of the kissing pic of angelo and bev..eeeeewww, it would have been better if I just read it alone. So many things to comment on sef, but let me keep it short.

Ehnehn, pokello's name hardly came up all through, is she suffering from 'heartbreak' or she just kept a low profile? Who are those likely to get strikes and what did dey really do? I hope someone will be kind enough to reply me.

Lucky selly, she has been looking for an avenue to join the anti-nigeria crew long before now, she just needed a reason to hold on to so as no to look bad to west africa. Now she has it. If only she could jump walls or dig a tunnel *in hakeem's voice* to go and nominate beverrie on monday.

Thanks fot the detailed gist pinky lips wink. I have been out all day.

I think you are being too harsh on pokello. I personally do not have a problem with the kind of relationship elikem and fatima have, but elikem should not think a woman he expresses 'love' to will be comfortable having another woman share his bed, caress him, massage him, bathe with him under the canopy of 'just friends'. Does elikam expect pokello to be cool with that kind of weird bond he shares with fatima?

This shows his intention all along was just to crack pokello and see her soft\vulnerable\emotional side. It doesn't make sense to me honestly. He should Be a man and stick to whatever kind of relationship he wants, not toying with people's emotions just to prove a point. If he treasures fatima's relationship that bad, then he should stick to her, and let other ladies be. He shouldn't attempt chasing them because no lady will stand her 'chaser' having another undefined weird rlt with another female.

Trying to make fatima feel bad today by showering praises on pokello and doing the same thing to pokello tomorrow is just annoying.

I agree with all the points you have made in the past few hours @Safari. Melvin is miles ahead of most of the guys this season. The only male I'm comfortable with in that house apart from melvin is bassey. As it is now, No other male in that house apart from these two is worthy of the dollars..IN MY OPINION.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 1:01pm On Jul 06, 2013
^^no sensible being can be impressed with that. The only reason some people still had a lil but of tolerance for hakeem was because of cleo, He would have been out last week if not for her country votes. And just because he has survived twice, he thinks he's all that to viewers. It will really break my heart if hakeem does not leave on sunday.

Hakeem has said bad things to people about this babe who hasn't for once done the same. I blame cleo for not bonding with the other diamond housemates because of this fake kid. Now that selly Is gone, she feels so lost in diamond house. I hope she finds her voice back after hakeem leaves on sunday.

I still love my ice queen though...I guess first love never dies.. cheesy cheesy

and I hope my vote and dominique's make a difference and keep her for another week cheesy.

kosky: Una too dey like long talk for this nairaland. I aint gat no probs with bev being ho.rny and co. The show is rated 18. Dillish has some real good character. And i respect it. Is that a problem?
No, it isn't. Stating my own point of view in disagreement with your post isn't an attempt to change your opinion.

Btw, 'Welcome to nairaland', some of us love to write epistles to drive our points, ask furk and amaka. As long as a write up makes sense, let it be as long as melvin's jacket, me go read am.

sholay2011: Nobody is saying she should escape criticism ma but dissing her on a weak basis is what is implied to be wrong.
She is not an angel; she has her weaknesses...but her strengths far outweigh these weaknesses unlike other female housemates!!
So dissing a housemate on entertainment basis is weak now cos dillish is involved. When some of us diss melvin cos we think he's not entertaining, evasive, not upping his game, its not weak. Come'on bro. What is good for the goose is also good for the gander.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 11:24pm On Jul 05, 2013
kosky: Dillish is a special kind of woman. She's smart, responsible, watches her tongue. It's a pity some of you diss her because "she's not entertaining" simply cos she wouldn't stoop low and run her mouth like every other female in the house. That girl is just beautiful in and out and the more I watch her, the more hope I have for humanity. #Respect
Point1- In the bba house, no1 is above dissing...And if stooping low and running of mouth is what you think people call entertainment, then I have no words to say.

Lol@ the more I watch her, the more I have hope for humanity.

When dillish talks about sexx, humping, joystickk size and a whole lot of x-rated gists with another man who isn't her boyfriend, its fun and cute..when bev does it she's classless and h--oorny .... Abegiii..

This thread keeps moving from page to page attracting views because of drama caused by the 'irresponsible' ones. That's bba for you.

I don't have anything against dillish, I have admired her beauty on so many occasions, commended her calmness and respected her maturity in my previous posts, but dillish is not an angel\goddess who should escape criticism..
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 11:07pm On Jul 05, 2013
Maria aint dead..she was part of the chase and can be discussed whenever the need arises.

Glad the chase is finally heating up. All the nonsense one big family don tire me already. Its time to see people for who they are. Bba can never be complete without gossips, conspiracy, beefs, backbiting, betrayal. With different country reps and personalities aiming for just one thing, it is very normal.

....The chase is on cool

sholay2011: You are misquoting me. I never said all ladies should be exactly like Dillish. ..then where wud the drama come from? Who wud lie confidently? Who wud scheme tinz against her 'better half'?

But we can't deny the fact that as much as ppl re trying to play the game, their true colours would always show and we get to see their strengths and weaknesses. And that has made Dillish a role model IMO.

Abi you expect make I date a cunning geh like Feza or a loud geh like Beverly? Abegi!!! And Dillish is entertaining if u care to know, though she isnt loud.

*In Dillish's voice* trouble ooo
I spoke on behalf of the female housemates. You said they should all learn from dillish because she is the worthy female role model which I disagreed with. .And yeah, some guys like them loud..so its a case of different strokes. I have told you once to stop making it seem like dillish is the ideal woman for everyman or she's the miss perfect without flaws.. She may be to you, but not every person.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind:
noname: There is a big difference between Maria and Bev. and Africa did not uproot Maria, Nigeria simply preferred Delish and that was what it came down 2. With Mel and Maria by his own admission, he was kissing her under the duvet, enjoyed the warmth of her legs or touching her legs can't remember what he said and he also kissed her in the tunnel. With Bev., Bimp has made it clear that he is committed. Another thing is when Maria felt Melvin did not like her, she drew back, she did not sleep in his bed for 1 or was it 2 nights and she opted to switch houses instead of continuing to go after a guy that she felt did not like her. It was then that he started telling her that he liked her too and that he would bring her back and was all over her as she was all over him at that party so there is a world of difference between the 2.

I understand that people love Dillish but this witch hunt against Maria because they feel she messed up Mellish's chances or for whatever reason is just unnecessary and false. And to compare her to Bev is just laughable. I never saw Maria touching Melvin all over and all that stuff, she asked for permission to sleep on his bed and that was as far as she went. Just my 2 cents. Abeg spade I dey mourn Maria with you and Dominique.

As for Dillish being a role model. lol. Anyway I rest my case here.
@bolded Is where the problem lies. Maria wasn't voted for by most nigerians because she was the least entertaining, she was voted out because they felt she was ruining mellish's chances.

If at all we want to diss any female chasing shadows, fatima should be on the shredding table, not maria, not beverly. These two had their men at a particular juncture reciprocate their likeness, and became fond of them, no bitterness. They gave us something to talk about. If its okay for the men to chase, I see no reason why the bold women shouldn't do too as long as they are not chasing shadows. Theme is the chase..not the men's chase.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 10:17pm On Jul 05, 2013
sholay2011: Abeg shatapp!! What's the difference between what Beverly is doing and what Maria did? And pls, dnt tell me Bimp has a gf outside d house while Melvin doesn't. Maria's own was worse and Africa had to uproot her like elephant grass. All of dem shud learn from Dillish, she is the worthy female role model in the BB house. cool
role model ko, role model ni....you think if all the girls were like dillish, bba would be worth watching. Some girls are go-getters, some are not. Some are very conscious of what they do on tv, some are not. Different personalities make bba fun to watch.

ella.b:
Bimp said Poky is evil.
Melvin just dey sidon dey pick hin teeth.
I like him jare.He shouldn't join those gossips.
Even hakeem the 'downtowner' did not say a word too my surprise. Pokello's exit has probably put an end to his insecurities\inferiority complex about her.

In other news, Beverly said she used to see oneal as a fatherly figure and always sets her boundaries around him when she was in ruby house but now he has fallen her hand and now looks like every other person. I found myself chuckling with the way she said it, rolling her protuding eyeballs.

When feza also tried talking about loyalty, saying no 1 can be trusted, bev said she knows her friends, feza told her she cant be too sure but bev insisted she does. She said and "if I go to ruby house today, give me 3days, I will know who likes me and who doesn't, I play around a lot but I know those who like me"...me and sally used to be close but..bla bla bla..

Annabel talks too much and is too fecking loud.. It gets on my nerves sometimes.

sholay2011: Gawd!!! See how Feza has manipulated d discussion against Pokello who even made DH more lively last nite and helped them win the wager.

Bimp now said:" Pokello is evil. I just have to say it. She is evil".

Beverly too talk her own small. Melvin is just playing around.
Feza said Elikem is a weak man for allowing Pokello to control him by influencing her return to diamond house.(Like criosly? I thought she wanted to come to DH. Snake!)

Dillish is very wise to have just kept quiet and nod at Bimp's statements. These ppl av forgotten that the houses wud soon be merged sooner or later, then why the unnecessary lies that can easily be disproved?
Hahaha..get out of my head! I just saw ur post after submitting mine
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by StateOfMind: 6:34pm On Jul 05, 2013
Pokello is trending in diamond house. Bimp and bev say she's evil.. I can see Feza's happy they all think bad of pokello. Bimp thinks pokello tries to make people feel bad citing instances about last night. This is the first time I'd hear bimp being very vocal about his dislike for a housemate.

Dillish knows how to hide her head when housemates gossip. Kudos to her.

Feza is just unbelievable..she told the other housemates that elikem is weak because of his swapping and thinks he always listens to pokello. Why is feza trying to make it seem as if she had no idea elikem wanted to swap her. She even said she thinks elikem replaced her. Eeishhh....No peace.

Pokello also told elikam in the ruby that the diamond hms do a lot of pranks and crazy things but she doesn't participate. Yeah right.

miss sparkle: ...hakeem will tell that his pimpled faced girlfriend, and dat 1 will support...but I don't care..:hakeem must leave dis sunday!
You still haven't told us hakeem's response. Sooner or later in the game, housemates will go against the nigerian housemates because of the obvious reasons. They are strong contenders and they are nigerians (who have the highest no of winners in the past). Even if hakeem survives and becomes HOH, I don't see how hakeem alone can make sure they are up.

The nigerian hms names have never been up for nomination, so its only normal if the other housemates to start nominating them as from nextweek. No one can hide under the radar forever, its left for africa to decide. Bimp and cleo are up for the same reason this week, bev and melvin's time will come.

Zimbomatic: ey man dont believe this rigging nonsense personally i would hakeem to win bba, but the dude sometimes make it hard, it seems pokello did her homework before coming to bba,
I agree Pokello did her homework well, and now that she's endearing herself to africans with the newly revealed bubbly personality, I think she would go far.

That being said, I might have to reduce the rate at which I watch ruby house from nextweek to keep my sanity.
