Mrs uzodinma will not kill me o. Very funny woman.

Dide girl was so tensed she fumbled all through. Never seen such a messed up routine. Hian. Like comfort said, almost like she didn't rehearse at all. She forgot all their steps.

Also, there's something off about the williams' energy tonight. They had better previous performances for both dances. They danced like they had given up already. I really like them but with their performance tonight, I don't think they deserve to be in the finals. They should go with dide.

Overall, I think this season 8 is the most boring set I've ever seen on maltina dance hall.

safarigirl: nope, just 2. JJ and Alusa, 2 of the worst.

I mean, they could've brought Jazz or Eveva, not those 2 guys.

Yeah, lilian looks a lot like Selly, very startling resemblance there.

Meanwhile, people on BBA facebook page think the Namibian dude looks gay grin

Exactly! But anyway, there's always a need for an irritant in the house, alusa would fit into that role. Jj shouldn't just bore us to death with singing or love poem writing grin.

I haven't taken my time to check the pictures\profile of the other housemates. But I think I might like the sheila-look alike.

Fingers crossed.

Uzodinma Are you for real? Totally incomprehensible.

Uzodinma and odigie to be up joo .
TV/Movies / Re: Maltina Dance All: Season 8 (Official Thread) by StateOfMind: 7:42pm On Sep 23, 2014
I think comfort was not fair on the unanka's angry. They did well in my opinion with the fashion show. It didn't take long to understand and it was energetic and entertaining.

I couldn't even make sense of the odigwe's performance, they only danced well, but dint dance pantomine.

Dide should have made a better usage of their music. All those slow songs bring out emotions more in pantomine.

The odigwe will surely be up.
TV/Movies / Re: Maltina Dance All: Season 8 (Official Thread) by StateOfMind: 7:44pm On Sep 21, 2014
Why were the uzodinmas on eviction in the first place biko (I didn't watch the new dance at all). This is a very entertaining performance. I was just smiling all through. The shining factor in this family is the mama o. Such a darling momma grin

I just dislike seeing the oladapo family perform with their 'everly' hideous costume and sluggish mum. Urgghh.

Buhahahahahaha..oladapo family oo..bunch of clowns. What in maltina's name was the mum dancing? Jeoffery could not even hide his irritation..

safarigirl: they're surely going home this time.

The judges are saving the Dide family for the next dance...they'll surely come up grin

As of now the families I see in th finale are:

Utere family
Uzodinma family
Unanka family
Odigie family
Williams family

The Odigie's sister is the only thing wrongwith them.

That Uzodinma mama no just gree today smiley so happy for her...she said she was going to win dancer of the night and she did...they've won it twice now.

@bolded gringrin, I told my sister the same thing. Over stunt dey worry dide family yet they would not do clean, wowing stunts, always rough and risky ones that won't even get the audience on their feet. The dide girl looks slimmer, prettier and more feminine sha. Dannyxy, se you copy?grin

I agree 100% with the 5 families you listed.
Mama shoki deserved it abeg, she tried with her shoki and alingo. She's never in the background, always doing same routines with her boys.

The people who designed the oladapo's costume must really hate them. Kai grin.

Jeeez..I feel like flinging each member of the oladapo's family off the stage. The judges must be regretting their decision. Wish they could be sent home from that stage..
TV/Movies / Re: Maltina Dance All: Season 8 (Official Thread) by StateOfMind: 7:32pm On Sep 18, 2014
safarigirl: Muyiwa holds serious power, he's like Nigel on So You Think You Cam Dance.

The Oldapo's were crap compared to Leonard, their Wazobia was still boring.

The Maisamari family had an interesting opening show dance. The all-boys family with a round dad is the Nwaeze family and it's 'Unanka' not Utaka smiley

My stand out families dor now are the Utere family, the Odigie family (they got twins) and the Uzodinma family. The Williams family will reach the finals, but they just won't win. The cute factor isn't on their side and we know how Nigerians are quick to vote the family with the cute lil kid wink

I'm not psyched bout the Nwaeze family. I appreciate the dad's effort, but they're not a stand-out family IMO

Hahaha @utaka..thanks. I've dropped the Nwaezes like its hot oo.

Have you seen make a move by ivie okujaiye? Featuring beverly naya, tuface and omawumi? I think The lead actor in the movie is among the guys in the unanka family. I like the family though, their first academy dance was awesome too, their girl is very energetic and the mum\aunt dey try.

Btw, did osas read our comments? She seems to have calmed down a little.

safarigirl: SOM shey you see wetin I see? The way I dislike that Dide haemaphrodite sha.

You see the all these nonsense shows? How did Oladapo family escape eviction? They did not in any shape or form so better than the Leonards in either dance. Muyiwa is probably trying to keep the south west quota alive, but they will get out soon enough.

Next 4 damilies to come up for eviction:

Oladapo (they will be up every single time until they finally get out. Very slow bunch)

Dide family (they're not as good as others)

Nwaeze family (they are kinda weak)

Williams/ Uzodinma family (not sure, I just think they're quite average compared to others)

Haba, babe, don't bring tribe into this na. I believe it was a unanimous decision. And muyiwa is the only SWner in there. There is NO WAY he would have influenced the decision to their favour. I'm sure tribe is the last thing on anyone's mind in there.

Before the show, When that fine leonard chic said she would be extremely angry and very sad if they get evicted, I was like , never girl, not at this stage of the competition. I was shocked they chose oladapo over them o. I still do not understand what the judges saw, though in all honesty, their performance tonight was average, just a bit better than the oladapos. The Oladapos are the weakest link right now.

The maisemari were never meant to get into that academy in the first place. Their best dancer is an average dancer and they lack creativity.

The dide, I so disliked them when they were picked at the auditions, there were better people and they didnt deserve It at all, but I just thought, maybe they decided to give fat dancers a chance too, to encourage them. Lol. They aren't doing badly though, for now.

Overall, I haven't stuck with any family(ies) yet but I'm on the look out for utaka, utere, williams and the all-boys family with one round father like that.

Homesteady, please what happened to your love. She has become so annoying. I admit this has always been her style of presenting but this particular one is being overdone and it makes me wanna fling her off my screen. This she~male from dide family should spare us her sob story na, it is beginning to become an anthem. Everyone in the house needs the money. undecided.

By the way, Jare is doing just fine, and my msc program is going smoothly too, thanks for asking.

Yipeeeeeee! Another BBA is here and I can't help but smile at the memories of the last thread. The passion, comic posts, arguments, epistles! (Lord have mercy), trolling. Still my best thread so far on nairaland. And like lertee said, it was more fun than BBA itself. The highlight remains the race for 1000th page. Buhahahahaha!

IK(wild child), Dominique, Ochon (lalaosky, carujmonella, ochongonoko, anwuta), mariarocks (king rein, reincarnated, biggest head) lertee, jovialjov, jekyll and hyde , Safarigirl, dre, agbgift, THE amaka, sholay2014 , iyawoTM, furk addict, sexytahb, ,kslib(Lipsy) , itsmodella, spade(psychedelia\poisonous rat), toyindipo, lansguy, andrerush, ellaB, cest moi, rusello, ozodigbo, ninnynanny, dannyxy, mykali, njokusboy, ghkwame, I luv Gh, royalpearl, the one and only God of music(giyaz), d'malam(circleofwills, DILLISH) and all other rubies!.

I welcome all of you to this thread and I look forward to having another exciting 3months and maybe another BBA baby too. ASUU please go on strike again, we need active posters grin grin.

Once this thread hits frontpage, I expect the same set of slow people to crawl in to condemn not only the show but those that watch it, and then tell us the imaginary things they watch about the show they detest so much. *shurgs* grin. It is entertainment people, loosen up and stop with the pseudo intelligence.

See you all on the 7th of sept. Muahhhh!

P.S first to type a mini-epistle this season! *pops collar* grin
