Feeding per month = 6k minimum clothing per month = 2k Main Lessons = 5k home lessons = 5k money to her people = 6k tell me which is more expensive........proffesional nonsense cleaner 15k and can disappoint and honestly u dont wanna know how much you lost Oh i cant tell you hw many Jamb forms, GCE forms, Acceptance fees, feeding money you have to pay to many teenagers in the church, help is not only to mothers babies, there are many around you who will give a arm to come stay with you and earn an education. As in work to get an education. if you see a boy working under the bridge to earn a living and you take him home, give him a roof, a life and education HAVE YOU DONE AN EVIL THING!!!! If a girl who could have ended up in a molesters house ended up in your house with a better life HAVE YOU DONE AN EVIL THING some of our parents came to lagos via house help and get educated thus we the kids have access to better life or else would have been born in the village. this will be my last post on this issue and i prefer an OBJECTIVE CRITISM and not just critism just for the sake of critism. Thanks |
i am of the oppinion from all your continuos negativity on this issue that 1) its either you have received a wrong treatment in this issue and just cant get over it 2) you are just a one way traffic person. when i am having one of those talk shows in church where we teach people how to deal with helps i will probably invite you i dont sit on my high horse and blame everyone generally, i prefer to get involved change lifes and tell others how to treat this helps. i will ensure that every girl/boy that passes by me house, recieves a good treatment, gets good education as i can afford my kids, learn a skill and most of all learn how to be a good christian and yes i pray that heaven judge me and pay me back for all i did. NEVER GENERALIZE OR YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! |
hello wake up if i spent 4k on my kid per month, who sweeps and mops and do errands at 3 to 4yrs and i spent 5k per month on another girl who i am not her father and would never benefit from her education DOES DAT MAKE YOU A SLAVE DRIVER please wake up and stop generalising. Are you that dogmatic..... a one opinion individual..... one way traffic gosh!!!!!! |
the amount of money you earn does not make you rich..... it is discipline that makes you successful dont say because you earn 30k today you will rather become a gigolo having sex outside marriage i know many wealthy men today who married low but hard work and consistency took them up i dont care if you live in a face me i face you, it is meant for humans not animals, that you are down today does not mean you will be down forever. NEVER LET YOUR CURRENT CONDITION TO CONDITION YOUR FUTURE, today will become past in 24hrs time...... A MAN IS KNOWN FOR TAKING TOUGH DESCISIONS and not for living nice. even if you earn 1million today if challenges come tomorrow and you are down to 30k for a while will you commit suicide or kill the wife and children. NO!!!! A word is enough for the wise |
yes a lot of nigerians mis-treat house helps just like a lot of one man business mistreat workers many staff in the offices in nigerian owned organisations are slaves even more slaves than house helps but some do treat them well, many of you speaking against it are probably either guys who does not know what your wife goes through or ladies who dont have business plus sets of little kids. i am a man, my wife runs the family business, no one takes care of my kids but my wife alone to make it easier for her i bought washing machines, dish washers electronic mopings and as many gadgets has possible, but just to see her jumping from one point of the house to another made me employ a lady who says cleaning was her job and she does it in many houses. she rushes in do shoddy cleaning and rush to another house, i got another who brings her child into the house and destroyed gadgets. finally i got a friend to get me a young girl and we agreed 1st preached Christ to her 2nd introduced her to friends as my wives sister 3rd had her own room and all and due for naps every afternoon then goes off to lessons when her family members came to see her, they exclaimed at how fat she is now, but all money spent on her went down d drain as they came to pick her for marriage in her home town.... a girl of 15. she was taken back into poverty, into ignorance....into forced marriage i am forever happy for my little contributions into the lives of people i never knew before and may never meet again. the same way she is treated is the same way my 4yr old daughter is, my little girl sweeps, mops, wash, e.t.c to assist her mom but that will not relieve the load until she is older, even when the help was around there are certain chores that are for my very little daughter. so at this time you need a help and you an use that opportunity to positively assist a life. Just as my help was growing fat my wife regained her posture..... every one is happy....tell me have i committed a crime? i know of people like pastor Adeboye whose helps end up in universities, i know of wealthy Nigerians whose helps end up as employees in the organisation after going to school. i also know of nigerians whose helps became thin and malnourished. the more people oriented you are the more helps will be grateful that they came into your life......... if you want to argue against house helps please argue against the mal treatment not against the practice go to the villages where this girls came from and you will see how bad they live |
debrief08: Like i said proper defined job description not 24/7 maid/slave. Employing a 15 year old is outrightly wrong. Pay good money and get goosd services, pay for cheap labor and get trash. Would you happily work for a lowly paying employer? One who expects you at his beck and call 24/7, haba Nigerians, we are quick to blame Government yet we do this kind of things fear God, what you wouldnt wish for your child dont do to another childThe last girl we had, we spent more than 30k on her clothing, we employed lesson teacher for her @ almost 5k a month and we were still paying those that brought her...........she cried her eyes out when they came to pick her. she had grown fat and speaks better english but i think it was time to get her a husband in the village .......... i have employed professionals but i was never satisfied, i prefer some-one who i can school, train at the same time whose little services will go a long way in relieving my wife. the last time my wife went to the market, they were asking for her first born "the house girl" because she was treated as such. a live in house girl is more expensive but more reliable, the so called professionals are your average Nigerian employees bringing thieves and boy friends to the house, your DVD and money dis-appearing........ the big corporate cleaning services does not fit into my need. |
@nicky4lif thanks for the reply the last girl we had, we employed a teacher for her, same teacher for her and my kids lets talk on-line @debrief08 i have many friends with professionals who complain that these girls are very insolent, and the rate they charge is killing |
Dear all, due to my wives business and my work, i would require the services of a young house girl. all she will do is assist in house cleaning and assist in the shop. she will never be involved with my children or cooking. we are also ready to pay for her education if she is interested. i really would not want very grown ups who already have formed very bad habits you can reach me on yyyyyyy IF YOU DONT HAVE ANY CLUE OR NO GOOD ADVICE.....SIMPLY LEAVE THE PAGE |

i hate it when people just dont think, oh you guys would have prefered tiny pockets of project scattered every where in lagos with no coordination? Fashola is doing better than most of you trying your best to smear is name and work. definitly you have passed the good roads he did, didnt you enjoy it, did it not make your life better, if one of your family members had died on this roads because there are no traffic lights would it have been better? pls you post pictures on an ongoing project and you called it shoddy job, pls take a look at the picture your self...it is a work in progress how else will a work in progress look? i live a ikorodu, YES i have not felt so much job @ ikorodu, but if he does what he is doing very well and hands over to another good govnor one day ikorodu will smile, ALL WE LACK IN NIGERIA IS PATIENCE, does d guy print money?, do you know how expensive it is to build, have you built a house before, just build a shop and discover you have sppent almost a million, then you will appreciate what the gorvnor is doing. i love it when people are objective and not subjective in their tots. Good day |

Many of this ignorant posting surprises me first, what is a private jet, it is a mobile device use in getting to other countries without the delay of the normal airport. its like you car because you dont want public transport to scatter your plans and schedules. many Nigerians abroad have jets and no one is shouting. Put yourself in the shoes of a popular man of God, presidents are waiting for you in a country outside nigeria, and one drunk captain delayed your flight for 8 hours till you miss the program. As an influential person and a man sought by all the only way you ca keep to time is have your private cars, jets. I know that the Akindayomi's have a special house in camp. Adeboye's new house was built when presidents and their wives and governors beg to sleep under the same roof as the GO. so he had no choice but build something to accomodate them all check your infor before posting |
Finally if it is a story of girl caught having sex with Waec examiners her picture will be all over the internet, but because she only passed WAEC i cant find one single picture of the girl. we are not promoting this news enough. let twitters tweet, let facebook book it, let us shout it. Tell the world there is hope for the Nigerian youths. Let fellow student read it and aspire. PLEASE LET HER GO ON SCHOOL TOURS, SHE IS BETTER THAN DBANG AND CO, SHE IS AN AMBASSADOR. PLEASE PROMOTE HER AND HELP THE AILING NIGERIAN YOUTHFUL MINDS |
Emylexray: I'm bemused by some comments here! Your membership in Social networks will only be a distraction to you if you want it to.please spare me the DISCIPLINE stuff, let us face facts, take a while to study the dumbest in our schools, they are the sharpest in social networking. in life you need to sacrifice onething to get another, you cannot put all your sticks in the fire at a time. let us say the blunt truth, only 10% successfully pass exams in Nigeria. THERE IS A BIG PROBLEM. yet parents use their own hard earned suffered money to by BB for kids, the same BB that will replace their books. Students are now more versatile in Sex than books. Have you employed young graduates of late and see how poor background kids excel while spoilt rich kids fumble. i am not against riches (thank God i am well to do too) but we that are making it are spoiling the future of the kids with too much comfort.
