No family support because we were convinced it was not genuine, he was doing well but lately he started complaining about Buhari government, we told him that he is not the only suffering that things will get better but he wouldn't listen, he instructed his wife to sell some landed properties and 2 cars when he was in ethiopia to make sure that he moved to canada but the scammers kept demanding for more money from pin code to malta pin or transit visa or one document or the other till it was clear that it's a scam.

Hello house, my brother is back to Nigeria and he has learnt his lesson in a hard way, he spent a total of #5.4 million for the whole thing, 6 days ago he came back to Nigeria, we believe his brother inlaw was involve and initially he told us his brother inlaw was the one spending money for his visa, tickets and others but he has finally opened up that he was the one spending all the money to the extend of giving his inlaw #10k for transport from lagos back to Calabar where the inlaw is residing and working as a pastor, you know what before he came back, he was arrested by immigration in Ethiopia for possessing 2 different passport and the passport he came with to the immigration was not the passport he used when he came in to Ethiopia, my brother involved the Nigerian Embassy in Ethiopia through the help of one of the immigration officers and they came within 10 minutes , another incident ,the Ethiopia airline held him saying that he did not pay for flight ticket that brought him to Ethiopia and he must pay for it before he can go back to Nigeria and there is no other Airline that can lift him without paying and he said they showed him on their computer, is it possible for someone to travel outside the country without paying for his/her flight ticket. He said he is going to kill his brother inlaw. He can't go to the village now because people he took their business contributions and people he borrowed money from and promised to give them back within 1 month before he travelled because he did not let them know about his plans. I thank everyone in this forum for all your contributions, I tried to convince him that this is scam but he decided to ignore my advise and other family members.

Oh my God, this is pathetic, this killers called police is too much for the poor like us that uses most Nigerian roads, this police issue of killing citizens either by gun or on check point, I blame the Federal Government for all this killing of Nigerian innocent souls on daily basis, what car documents are they checking on the high way just to extort money from poor people, you import motor and register it police must find one fault to extort money from poor people but they will find the same fault in a big man's car they would just let them go. Custom will come for their own share , they will tell you custom duty was not fully paid that you should call your Agent but it's same custom that cleared and released the motor from wharf or even border. then come to registration of the car they must make one silly mistake because most people they employ to do car documents cannot spell any other word apart from their names, they don't know anything concerning vehicle and they don't send them for training, majority don't even know that all motor chassis numbers are 17 digit and O as in alphabet does not appear on Chassis numbers but only 0 ,I don't know of Trucks chassis numbers. if there is any sign of mistake from your motor documents then you will turn ATM to Police especially if you are coming from Lagos, when you enter Ogun,Edo and Onitsha they are all criminals, what stops police from staying in states and Local Government roads to check car documents because most people does not live in high ways. I think if our Government will order police and customs to be only on patrol on high ways and do stop and search in states and local governments roads because that is where most people and properties they are paid to protect lives but they can still operate stop and search on suspicious movements or on a tip off and they should be monitored by people with telephone numbers available, I believe if Government/IG can follow this method, accidents will be reduced drastically in our high ways. Skultrick@ please I want to know if it is same canada, my brothers case is canada and it's non appearance visa secured in Dakar Senegal, I brought this case to Nairaland ,with what people said I called my brother and told him that this is a scam he didn't believe me but now he is believing me now. He is looking for a way now to come back to Nigeria because he has no more money again to give them.

My people my people, I told my brother it is a scam but my brother wouldn't listen, they dumped him in a hotel in Ethiopia since April they keep promising him everyday that he will leave for canada today or tomorrow , every week we hear one story that 2 or 3 of his colleagues have travelled to canada, it is his turn to travel.They keep giving my brother bills for one code or the other, he has spent about #1,000,000 in Ethiopia.

My people, this is not the first time of nominating a serving lawmaker as minister, in 2003 during former president Obasanjo, he nominated a serving senator, I think it was senator udo udoma or a senator from Akwa ibom or Cross River and he was screened by the senate as usual but when he was given Minister of State (junior minister) he rejected it and went back to the senate. being A MINISTER, not a junior minister is more Lucrative
than being a House of Representative Member. I believe before he was nominated as a minister they have discussed about it and the ministry he will supervise , mark my word if they give him minister of state he will reject it and go back to the National Assembly. He is still an Apc member, he just used another party to get what he wants, he will go back to Apc any moment from now, watch out.
