dexentity: Well, that is what i don't understand. I believe the leaders of the two regions can get functional ports if they are serious about it instead of always claiming victims of a bogus conspiracy. Igbo leaders don't have to do ish because they know their people will blame Yorubas rather than to take them (igbo leaders) to task. ' Leave SS out of this. SE and their attache by force keeps dragging SS into their inferiority complex. SS don't have a problem with Yorubas, Yorubas don't have a problem with SS. |

Obijulius: Op said the truth, although senseless persons will disagree.
Let the governors of the SE/SS use thier brains. Apart from Federal backing there is nothing unique that the Yorubas have to offer!
I remember what Peter Odili did about non-indegene corp members serving in oil Companies. The governors should just introduce heavy taxes on oil Companies with head offices outside the Niger Delta and see how the cookie crumbles.
My people should think and act fast!!! Don’t allow the lazy ingrates reap where they did not sow. Ndo. Yorubas have nothing to offer. but Ibos have decided to make themselves refuges all over Yorubaland. |

dexentity: Interesting. The affected states should find a way to build ports to boost the economic activities if they really believe ports in their states is viable, and they can take it up with the federal government even if it means suing the them. Every man wan build port. Are Yorubas holding their leaders by gun point? |

Rmxr: It's starting to dawn on them that revenue is hardly generated from markets lol. If NBS weren't releasing these stats, we'd have been hearing statements like
Abia generates 1 trillion in IGR lol. The state has the biggest blah blah in Africa
Anambra has the biggest Autoparts market in Africa. The government generates trillions of Naira from Nnewi market alone
Thank God for NBS If revenues are generated by markets, they should tell us why Onitsha is nothing to talk about. |
