The website states that the Consulate in Lagos only accepts payment for the application fee via POS now. However in the email for the appointment booking, it’s stated that they accept payment via cash or via POS.

Can someone who has had an interview recently at the Consulate in Lagos please confirm?

You can pay with POS.

I went with cash but paid with POS. They even prefer POS. Just pray your bank doesn't mess up.

Please refrain from contacting the enquiry service within the processing times. You will be contacted again when your application has been considered.

I applied since August 8th and I am yet to get a response except that my application is under assessment.

I didn't know I was to add ECA request form with my application to pebc, now Pebc is done with the evaluation but I don't have a report because I didn't send the request form .
- Please how do I get the report, is it by sending only ECA request form again to pebc?

You will have to pay extra for your ECA .

send a mail to pebc. they will tell you how to go about it.

-Secondly, there is a place for witness signature, who signs, can anybody sign.

Hello, PEBC will send the evaluation letter to the address you put on the ECA form you submitted to PEBC.
The witness part is signed by the Lawyer who notarized your documents.

I used it the 1st time but had several issues at the point of entry due to the fact that I wasn’t straight forward with the officer(very long story). I was questioned, my pictures were taken and my finger prints before I was finally allowed to go in after spending about 7hrs at the airport. I used 3days and left London. I want to reapply soon for 2 years. Is it advisable to apply for the 2years or just 6months. I’m even scared to reapply again

I made a decision years ago not to get my number involved with nairaland and visa issues and that hasn't changed.

Pick tourist as cousin is not regarded as family member visa wise though standard visa covers all sub-visa categories including family visa.

Are they sending you documents to support your application?

Yes they are sending the documents. I have his British passport data page and a letter he sent. The Dad also sent his Naira bank statements to me. Is it ok if I ask for your number?

You don't have kids and both of you should take time out to travel the world together... your husband is your ties and they may feel like it cost you both nothing staying put in U.S if they grant you visa... since you both plan to go to U.S I will advise you to travel to another country instead.
