Pls house, i got an admission in a college in Canada but got no school fees of about 15,000 Canadian dollar to pay. Pls will the consular consider if i didnt show evidence of fee payment. I need ur opinions please

Yes they may consider, cos there were many people on this thread who apply for TRV without paying their tuition fees and were approved

Good morning house, please how long does it take to receive a notification for biometric after online submission as been completed?anybody please

When I did mine online, I got the notification that same day that I can go and do my fingerprints any day I want.

So I'm sure if you didn't get the notification immediately, you'll get it in less than a week sha, just be hopeful

If they check ur criminal records even at home country, why wouldn't they check other African countries? I hope u know background checks go even as far as checking the authenticity of your employment?
Applied April 11

Hmm ok

But this my delay is too much since February 17 when the processing time was 6weeks

I'm fed up

I said it. Your own delay is explainable. Not like some of us.

But I thought it was been said that Canadian immigration don't check records with Africans countries only with USA, Australia and other European countries.

When did you apply for your visa since you said you're been delayed too?

You most likely have extensive travel history? If so I learnt they will have to grab your immigration files from those countries.

Lol these are the countries I have been to; Benin, Togo, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire

I was born in Côte d'Ivoire and I had almost all my education in Ghana though I'm a Nigerian

But what is your online dashboard showing under background check and eligibility review?

Eligibility review says "Your application is in progress..."
Background check "We are processing your application..."

If your application has Passed the normal processing time and you have sent a mail to them with no effect. Take a back door by ordering your GCMS note. They will attend to it sharp sharp

Thanks I will do that. But the days it takes before one gets the GCMS note is discouraging

Don’t be dismayed, have faith. Don’t be anxious. You cannot force them to make a decision. Just be patient and hopeful, if it’s gone past the processing time and you know the visa office acting on your application, shoot them an email.

Thanks for the encouragement.
When I applied for the visa, the processing time then was 6weeks.

Moreover, i don't even know where my student visa is being processed since I applied online

Have been keeping this to myself since but I can't continue keeping

I applied for a student visa(online) on 17th February, 2018

Did my biometrics on 18th February, 2018

Till now no update on my application online

I'm really disturbed ohh, is that how Canadian student visa does delay?
