We are all introverts. But in this our world, no man is an island. We will need people. If not now, later. So i'll encourage you today, to go out of your way to know people. Not just on a ' hi' ' hello ' basis. Know them. You will need their help. Maybe with schoolwork, maybe with finances...Make a conscious effort to do so. If possible, make a to do list, or set a goal for yourself per day. e.g today, i will sit beside tosin in class and talk about his haircut, or i will visit the clinic to see uche today. Let it be a conscious decision. Join a few groups. You don't have to be an extrovert to make friends and communicate with people. We're all trying to move up in this world, and we need people to go far. Have a smooth sailing, people.

Hi people, it's really nice being here.
I'm an introvert, and I have come to embrace it, fine tune it and keep it balanced as much as I can.

But to be honest, my major challenge is meeting new people, especially making new friends: I have tried so much but it's always difficult. It's not like I don't have people's skills, I do, I even led a couple of groups back in school.

It could take me a whole year or more to make friends after moving to a new neighborhood, and that's because I hardly come out: I'm always indoors reading, learning new stuff, and sometimes just engaging in creative thinking.

I would honestly say that being introverted has brought more advantages than disadvantages, it has enabled me learn more, read more, know more, and has helped me discover the many talents and potentials in me, but I still need to improve on being outgoing, even though I know I'm receptive.

I would appreciate any advice.

We tend to overthink somethings. I'm quite introverted, but i like to be impulsive and spontaneous on occassion. Once i think about doing something, i know i'm going to overthink it. So on occassion, i CONSCIOUSLY do away with thinking about it. I just go ahead and do it.

Maybe simply create a word document and convert to pdf using adobe acrobat? Or use adobe to create the document. The options are there, but i haven't ever tried. You'll need internet access too.
