A Popular Pastor in Warri, Delta State, Melody Adjija was reportedly arrested recently for Fraud and Performing 'Fake' miracles.The pastor, who heads Light Way Ministry in Warri, was nabbed after one of his accomplices confessed to the police about his activities.

A Facebook user simply identified as Otuendon Yemi shared a video on his page of the alleged confession by the prophet and his accomplice. According to the video, the accomplice said he was hired from Edo State to give fake confirmations of prophecies by the pastor.

Members of the Hon. Jasper Ndubuaku led Imo State Committee on the Recovery of Moveable Assets Belonging to the State government temporarily seized a vehicle belonging to Uloma Okorocha, daughter of former state governor, Rochas Okorocha.

One of the members of the committee sat in Uloma's vehicle, telling her that the vehicle was 'government property'.

Justice Tanko Mohammed has been sworn-in as the substantive chief justice of Nigeria, CJN by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Justice Mohammed was sworn-in on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa.

PoliticsNGR has just gathered that the Nigerian police force has discovered a truck-load of explosives in Delta State.

On Thursday at about 19:45hrs, Police Officers of Delta State Police Command Led by CP Adeyinka B Edeleke intercepted A White Toyota Hilux vehicle without late Number and recovered 128 Pieces of Explosives and 5 pieces of Electric detonators inside the Back Compartment of the Hilux Car along Ughelli-Patani Road Delta State.

Occupants of the Vehicle who refused to stop at the Police Check Point were pursued by the Police team and the 2 Suspects in the Vehicle swerved the vehicle in High Speed into the bush before jumping and escaping. On Searching the recovered vehicle all the above-mentioned explosives were discovered.

The White Toyota Hilux Vehicle and the Explosives are now at the Delta State Police Command Headquarters Asaba under the custody of the Explosives and Ordinance Department (EOD) of the State Police Command.

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has announced that it does not recognize the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Cross River State for the rescheduled 2019 General Elections.

Resident Electoral Commission in Cross River State, Dr Frankland Briyai, declared the names of all candidates submitted by APC in the state would be removed.

Addressing reporters in an abrupt briefing in Calabar late Friday evening, he said this was pursuant to an order of a court with suit number FHC/CA/CS/731/2018 between Godwin Etim John vs the APC and others.

He said the logo and names of the APC would be retained pending the submission of the list of candidates by the Godwin Etim John- led state executive by the national working committee in compliance with the order.

Briyai said; "The commission pursuant to the order of court in the above matter has directed that the names of candidates submitted by the APC for Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly for Cross River State be removed from the list of candidates for the election in compliance with the said order."

"A statement has been credited to President Muhammadu Buhari in which he is quoted to have urged the military at a melting of the APC leadership,"snatch a ballot box at the expense of your life".

The president was usurping the powers of INEC and the Police,in his never fading military mindset to do utter this most inflammatory and unconstitutional statement.This statement,to say the least,is not only outrageously unpresidential,but it shows his extreme desperation and panicky mindset.

For the records,it is the president's own APC party that has so far been involved,to the knowledge of the whole world,in bizarre acts of electoral malpractices during their primaries, leading to an implosively divided party of disparate and inchoate tendencies.APC's leading lights have so far preached terror, "body bags",mayhem, strife,stoned their president and leaders,booed others,killed some in cold bloodshed,denied themselves tickets,and generally engaged in acts of gansterism,hooliganism and shameless "agberoism",quite unbecoming of a ruling party.

Presidents don't preach violence, nor engage in scaremongering, as Buhari is currently doing at every turn and opportunity. Presidents are known to be extremely cautious and restrained, even when others do not. This is because a president is supposed to approximate the highest ideals, morals and nobility of the national psyche, ethos and consciousness.PMB still doesn't appear to realise that he is no longer in opposition as he was between 2003 and 2015.

He readily forgets, in his brazen desperation to cling on to power at all costs, that he is now the president of the largest black democracy on earth, made up of about 200 million people. Buhari must be told in clear and unmistakable terms that this is not 2015 when he got away with preaching bloodshed of "baboons being soaked in their own blood",an act that made gentleman Goodluck Jonathan voluntarily abdicate power as president on the mantra of "my ambition is not worth the drop of any Nigerian's blood".

The statement is grossly reckless, incendiary, provocative, bellicose, belligerent and wholly condemnable. He even literally read the riot act to INEC chairman and staff, threatening them with fire and brimstone, if they do not do his bidding. This is to strike fear in them, as he has done to the judiciary, NASS, the press and voices of the opposition and critics. For the avoidance of doubt, the Electoral Act has already taken care of such matters as he appeared suddenly to be aware of. Section 129(4) of the Act 24 years imprisonment for anyone who snatches ballot boxes at an election. Section 131 of the Electoral Act, on the other hand, prescribes N1 million fine or 3 years imprisonment for anyone who directly or indirectly inflicts injury on others, or causes harm, violence, or uses duress and undue influence for the purpose of winning an election. The law is quite clear. It never prescribes the death penalty as Buhari wants to force in.

Recall how he had retroactively got executed, Ojuolape, Ogedengbe and Owoh,for drug peddling in his first military junta.He made them pay the supreme price inspite of national and international uproar and condemnation for an offence that did not carry tyr death penalty when it was committed. For God's sake,President Buhari is forcing us back to Egypt which we had happily left 35 years ago.The palpable frustration now being publicly displayed in a most undisguised and unveneered manner supports my hypothesis in an earlier writeup that the undue pressure mounted on INEC chairman to go ahead and hold staggered elections appeared to have backfired.

Prof Mahmud is said to have bluntly refused.The presidency was said to have hoped to watch Atiku Abubakar's votes and cancel the humongous difference by deploying full scorching military might to the few states where elections would have been rescheduled,to literally steal the difference as they did in Osun state.

This Osun formula was busted by INEC,hence the wailing and unrestrained lachrymal effusion we are now seeing.Mr President sir,here is the bad news for you:Nigerians are tired and anxiously waiting to dymistify you and send you on forced return to Daura on the 23rd of February.Your fixation of "I can't be beaten",and your obsequious bootlicking chear choristers' puerile insistence that "no one csn defeat Buhari" would be blown into smithereens.

If you had performed creditably well as your hypocritical propagandists would have you believe,you would not have been running helter-skelter,from pillar to post today,begging Nigerians for votes,amidst too many gaffes and false steps.Nigeria is too big for one individual,aided by only 2-3 powerful members of cabal (thank you,Aisha Buhari),to hold down by the jugular in an asphixiating beerhug.How many prison yards can you build to quarantine off all Nigerians?"

NPA'S CONTRACT WITH INTELS ENDS IN 2020

PoliticsNGR learned that the NPA contract will end next year, 2020, and would not be renewed.

According to a source, “this is Atiku’s main driver for this election. The source revealed; “He gave Secondus and Wike Intels shares to secure the PDP ticket. Atiku rolled in billions year in year out from 2010 when the 28 per cent deal was signed.

Atiku is now reportedly keen on keeping this sweet deal beyond 2020 when the deal expires. President Muhammadu Buhari, with the introduction of Treasury Single Account (TSA) and the revelation of the adjustments, will not renew Intels contract.

CAC documents reveal that Secondus is now on the board of Intels. [See especially page 24 of the attached report which is reproduced below.]

Intels is owned by Atiku who has the largest share. INL is allowed to collect revenue on behalf of NPA.

From 20 per cent it went up to 28 per cent. Intels later wanted their commission increased to 35 per cent but that was rejected by the Federal government.

PoliticsNGR has been furnished with a statement from the Nigerian Customs signed by its Public Relations Officer, Joseph Attah on a viral video showing a customs officer shooting an unarmed civilian in Ijebu-Ode.

The Statement read;

"The attention of Nigeria Customs Service has been drawn to a disturbing video going viral with conflicting narratives.While it is painful and totally unnecessary to lose life in anti-smuggling operations, today at Shagamu interchange along Ijebu Ode, attempt to obstruct lawful performance of duty by passengers of a commercial bus (a white Toyota Hiace) suspected to be carrying bales of used clothing led to the death of a young man (Godwin) and serious injury of a Customs Officer, ASC1, Destiny Onebamho.

Contrary to some narratives, the young man was not a passenger of the bus but a good citizen who always come to fetch water for Customs Patrol men anytime they return to the base.

Preliminary finding indicate that it was during the skirmishes and struggle to disarm the Officer that the rifle discharged and hit the friend of the Customs (Godwin) who lost his life. The Service is already in touch with the bereaved family.

Sadly, it should be noted that while attention shifted to the dead and the wounded, the passengers who filmed with inciting commentaries boarded their vehicle and left, leaving the wrong impression that it was one of them that was killed.

While the wounded Officer is under intensive care at the hospital, the patrol team has been recalled to the office for further investigation."

The National Assembly has announced the postponement of its resumption scheduled for Tuesday, February 19 to Tuesday, February 26.

The Clerk of the National Assembly, Mohammed Sani-Omolori, made this known in a statement on Sunday.
He said the postponement became necessary following the postponement of the presidential and National Assembly election rescheduled for Saturday, February 23.

“This is to inform all distinguished senators and honourable members that resumption of plenary session earlier scheduled for Tuesday Feb. 19 has been postpones to Tuesday, Feb. 26 due to the postponement of the national elections.

“All distinguished senators and honourable members are expected to resume plenary session by 10 a.m. on Feb. 26 please,” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Senate had on January 24, adjourned plenary till February 19, to enable preparations for the February 16 presidential and National Assembly elections.

NAN further reports that the Senate did not consider the 2019 Appropriation Bill before it proceeded on the break.
It, however, passed the Minimum Wage Bill through first and second reading.

A Nigerian Man and a group of prayer warriors were seen praying in Abuja against President Muhammadu Buhari's victory in the 2019 General Elections.

Ex-Niger Delta Militant and Traditional Ruler, King Ateke Tom has denied endorsing President Muhammadu Buhari for a second Term.

It was earlier reported today that Ateke Tom alongside some other Niger Delta Militants endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari's 2019 re-election bid. Tom's denial is coming a few hours after that of another Niger Delta warlord, Government Ekpemukpolo alias Tompolo.

PoliticsNGR gathered that in a statement signed by a spokesman, Chief Tamunokonbia L. O. Akaluogbo JP, Tom disclosed;

"My attention has been drawn to an online publication in some media outlets, Premium Times in particular that, I, king Ateke Micheal Tom, Sekuro of Niger Delta, Amanyanabo of Okochiri kingdom has endorsed the candidature of President Buhari.

I want to state here that there is no element of truth in the said publication. It is never in my character to cheapen myself to such act for the purpose of anything. More so, as a traditional ruler loved and respected by my people, I will not betray the respect and love they have for me on the altar of partisan politics let alone endorsing a candidate.

The Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun has responded to rumours of his purported defection from the All Progressives Congress, APC to the Allied Peoples' Movement, APM.

A report earlier today alleged that Amosun had defected to APM and endorsed Atiku for President. In a telephone chat with his spokesperson, Eshomomoh Imoudu, PoliticsNGR learned that the report was 'false'.

Imoudu stated that Governor Amosun remains a member of the ruling APC adding that he has no reason to decamp as he is the current senatorial candidate for Ogun Central under the party.

It will be recalled that on Tuesday, the leadership of the APC vowed to deal with Amosun over the poor-conduct of the party's rally in Ogun state a few days ago.

Foremost lawyer and Legal Luminary, Mike Ozekhome as listed 9 reasons why the bench warrant issued against suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen by the Code of Conduct Tribunal is a 'Trivialization of the judicial process'.

In a statement made available to PoliticsNGR on Wednesday titled 'THE CCT'S BENCH WARRANT FOR THE CJN ONNOGHEN'S  ARREST: CARRYING THE JOKE TOO FAR ', the senior advocate of Nigeria(SAN), argued;

"It's quite saddening and abhorrent to hear that the CCT has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of CJN Walter Nkanu Onnoghen.

For God's sake, this is bordering on the vendetta, the ridiculous and trivialization of the judicial process. I condemn this unwholesome step which puts the CCT in the public domain as being on a vengeful and extra-legal mission against the CJN.

It must be pointed out that this latest step by the CCT which has argued it is solely under the president and not under the judiciary, appears to be teleguided by the dictatorial Executive, especially the presidency. These are my reasons for this strong view:

1. The NJC has since taken over the investigation of the CJN as provided for in sections 153,158,291,292(2) and section 21,parts A and B to the 3rd schedule to the Nigerian Constitution.

2. The EFCC has since written a petition against the same NJC,using the same evidence as that before the CCT.

3. The CCT has itself adjourned the CJN's matter for argument on whether it even has jurisdiction at all to hear the case against the CJN.

4. There are at least 4 Court orders directing the CCT to halt further proceedings.

5. The CJN has not yet been physically arraigned before the CCT on the charges filed such as to give the CCT and jurisdiction over the CJN.

6. Under the Provisions of the ACJA,a person such as Justice Walter,can even be tried in absentia.He therefore does not therefore have to be humiliated by being bundled to the court for arraignment like a common criminal. So,it is not a question of one being above the law.

7. By virtue of section 8 of the ACJA,every suspect is to be accorded humane treatment,with dignity and no suspect is to be subjected to inhuman and degrading treatment.

8. By virtue of section 3(d) of the CCB/CCT Act,the CJN ought not have been charged at all before the CCT, given his admission of mistaken non full compliance with the declaration of his assets. The section provides that he shall not be charged before the CCT once he admits non compliance. The matter ends there, as he shall be made to comply by being given fresh forms to fill and make full disclosure.

9. The earlier order made by the CCT that the CJN shall step aside has since been appealed against to the Court of Appeal and the appeal ought to be allowed to run its full course.[/b]

Bola Ahmed Tinubu is an ugly and repugnant little creature who lives in and presides over the affairs of Lagos state.

He comes from a long line of slave-dealers even though he is of questionable parentage. He hails from a small town in Osun state called Iragbiji and many claim that his real name is not Bola Ahmed Tinubu but rather Hameed Sangodele or Yekini Amoda Ogunlere or Bobo Chicago

Whatever his real name is or whatever anyone chooses to call him, at every available opportunity this creature insists on insulting President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan accusing them of deceit, theft, incompetence, graft, corruption and all manner of atrocities.

He claims to be holier and better than them yet the truth is that he is not fit to be used as toilet paper to clean their either of their rectums.

He suffers from low self-esteem, he has no conscience and he will do anything or sell anybody for money and power.

He is a traitor to the Yoruba, a traitor to the south, a traitor to the progressives and a traitor to the oppressed. He is the Judas of Nigeria, the first born of hell and the supreme leader of the accursed.

He is a conflicted, compromised, corrupt, filthy, parasitic and sociopathic leech and a professional loafer that has sold his soul to satan and that has traded his nation, his people, his heritage, his conscience and his honor to Beelzebub in return for a few choice morsels at Buhari's table.

The truth is that he is not fit to be Obasanjo's or Jonathan's houseboy let alone join issues with either of them or insult them in the way that he has been doing.

I advise him to respect himself, to seal his lips and to prepare for his retirement to Iragbiji after his candidate and master is thoroughly defeated and humiliated in saturday's election.

I urge him to appreciate the fact that all the blood that has been shed over the last three years by the Buhari government, their security forces and their secret and covert associates and allies, including the Fulani Herdsmen, Boko Haram, ISIS West Africa and the Malian Fulanis, remains firmly on his hands and that both he and his impish little dwarf and pliant midget called Yemi Osinbajo, will be called to account and be brought to justice for the shedding of that blood.

There are principally five people that many consider to be incurable lepers and treacherous collaborators and that they hold responsible for the suffering, humiliation and deprivation of the people of the south and the Middle Belt over the last three years and six months and when the time comes we shall bring them to justice.

The first is the fraud called Bola Ahmed Tinubu who literally worships Buhari and literally prays and makes supplications to him every night .

The second is the foul-mouthed, pot-bellied creek Haramite from Rivers state called Rotimi Amaechi who has sold his own people down the river, who said that saturday's presidential election would be "a battle and not an election" and who has threatened violence against the people of Rivers state for the sake of Buhari.

The third is the pamper-wearing and over-bloated pregnant frog from Imo state called Rochas Okorocha who once said that Buhari was the best thing that has ever happened to the Igbo since sliced bread.

The fourth is the cruel, violently aggressive, abusive, mentally-unstabe delinquent and unconciable sociopath from Kogi state called Yahaya Bello who once said "Christians are angry with Buhari only because they can no longer steal to pay tithe".

And the fifth is the utterly shameless and spineless quisling and cowardly modern-day Uncle Tom from Plateau state called Solomon Lalong who once said that Buhari taught him "how to run" his state as governor.

These five unhinged and malevolent personalities, with Bola Tinubu acting as their leader and the proverbial "chief slave" to the vicious and ugly hegemonist tendency and feudal cabal that Buhari represents, have done much harm to the cause of the Middle Belt and the south. They have also joined hands and forces with the enemies of God and sought to undermine the Church and destroy the Christian faith.

They are nothing but minions and acolytes of the salafists and wahhabists of the core Muslim north and they are perfect examples of those that have variously and rightly been described as "useful idiots and accursed slaves".

We shall not forget their contributions to the suffering and bondage of our people and neither shall we forget their wickedness, insensitivity and cruelty.

Permit me to share just one example of that cruelty here. One of the most notorious and egregious acts of wickedness that Tinubu has ever indulged in is the fact that he encouraged his puppet governors in Lagos state to prosecute Prophet T.B .Joshua's SCOAN Church after the Church went through the trauma, hardship and tragedy of being bombed by a group of callous and heartless terrorists a few years earlier resulting in the death of almost 200 innocent souls, most of whom were foreigners.

Tinubu knew the facts and knew what really happened but because he hates the Church so much he sought to cover up the truth and instead joined hands with others and blame the bombing of the building on the victims, the Church itself and the man of God, alleging that the structure was not well-built and that it had a faulty foundation.

This is not only a lie from the pit of hell but also wickedness in its most graphic and unadulterated form and it has undoubtedly resulted in a deep spiritual wound on Bola Tinubu and his entire political family. I have no doubt that as a consequence of this alone God's judgement will stalk them all the days of their lives.

Yet it does not stop there and Tinubu is not the only one that is under the judgement of the Living God. His master Buhari is as well and perhaps even more so.

In Exodus 14:4 the Holy Bible says, "I will be honored through Pharaoh and all his army and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord".

We are witnessing the full manifestation of this scripture unfold before our eyes today as our very own Pharaoh and his army of Egyptians are being humiliated, brought down to their knees and stripped naked before the entire world.

The Lord has hardened Pharaoh Buhari's heart unto destruction and he and his entire brood of blood-sucking and flesh-eating demons in human skin are about to experience their "Red sea" moment.

They will meet a bitter and tragic end and the Lord's name will be glorified. The clock is ticking and the bell tolls for them.

Just a few days ago Obasanjo said "if we expose those in Buhari's government they will not only go to jail but they will also go to hell". I have no doubt that this is true.

The hottest place in hell has been reserved for Buhari and his political associates who I can best describe as a congregation of incorrigible crooks and scammers and a lawless congress of sadistic and irredeemable miscreants and baboons. By God's grace, when the time comes, they will enter into the burning flames of hell head-first.

Given the fact that their candidate faces imminent defeat and a massive disgrace in the presidential election in a few days time, they would do well to leave Obasanjo and Jonathan alone and concentrate their efforts on asking God for forgiveness for their many atrocities and redeeming themselves before the Nigerian people.

Permit me to conclude this contribution with a word to Buhari himself.

You complain that the USA is supporting in-coming President Atiku Abubakar yet in 2015 when you were their candidate you did not complain.

Those that lack foresight together with the ignorant, cowardly, misgiuded and evil in our midst, with the help of Barack Obama, put you in power in 2015 and those that have foresight together with the courageous, wise, insightful and righteous in our midst, with the help of Donald Trump, will get you out in a few days time!

Things have really changed three years and six months down the line. Three years ago could you ever have imagined that you, your party National Chairman Adams Oshiomole and your Vice President Yemi Osinbajo could be booed and stoned at your own party rally in Abeokuta?

Three years and six months ago would you ever have believed that your chief slave and chief priest, Bola Ahmed Tinubu would, out of anger and frustration, throw your party flag on the floor in full glare of the television cameras and the public at the same rally?

I doubt it! Yet these things happened before your very eyes and it was all provoked and orchestrated by one of your favourite associates and political sons, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state.

As far as I am concerned this is the doing of the Lord and it is marvellous in our sight!

The Holy Bible says "it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God". If you do not know and appreciate that already you soon will.

I suggest that you open your eyes Buhari, smell the coffee, throw in the towel and prepare to retire to Daura with your merciless and ruthless cabal!

Like Tinubu's expired milk, all things have a time-limit and an expiry date and yours has finally come. The bitter truth is that it is not Obasanjo that is the expired milk which needs to be rejected, dumped and thrown away but rather it is you.

A yet-to-be Identified man has been nabbed with several Permanent Voters Cards in Kogi State, PoliticsNGR has gathered.

According to an Eyewitness, Usman Okai, there have been several cases of recently Stolen PVCs in the state. The suspect is seen in the video below responding to questions from Police Officers interrogating him.

It will be recalled that in November 2018, hoodlums invaded one of the INEC’s registration areas at Egume in Dekina Local Government Area of the state and made away with some PVCs meant to be distributed to their owners.

A week later the Kogi state Police command arrested one of the suspects and recovered 55 stolen PVCs.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC has told the people of Kwara State to vote out Senate president and PDP Chieftain, Bukola Saraki and his Candidate for the state Gubernatorial elections, Razaq Atunwa.

PoliticsNGR learned that Tinubu, at the APC Presidential Campaign rally in Kwara today, described Saraki as a "Traitor and Backstabber", adding that the people should ensure that they vote him out.

He said; “It’s been long they have been stealing your money and who has been doing it? it’s Bukola. We are here to fight Bukola, we are here to quarrel Bukola, he is a traitor and backstabber, we must not allow him steal our votes.

This is the celebration of your freedom, the emperor that did exist here for several years now.”

Speaking on how to remove Saraki, he said;

“Use your index finger to thumbprint and for women don’t apply ‘Larlie’ on your finger on that day because they will say you have voted.

If you thumbprint and it doesn’t work, try again, insist on voting. Use your index finger touch the link then thumbprint close to the broom on the ballot paper.

I want to assure you that the incoming administration of President Muhammadu Buhari will be fair to us and ensure that your lives are changed,” Tinubu said.

There seems to be serious trouble brewing within the Ogun State Chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC as the Governor of the state, Ibikunle Amosun ordered the removal of the Ogun APC Gubernatorial Flag Bearer, Dapo Abiodun from the APC Presidential campaign venue.

It was also gathered that Rival supporters of Governor Ibikunle Amosun and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, clashed heavily.

The MKO Abiola International Stadium, Abeokuta, venue of the rally, was being manned by heavy security personnel, comprising Army, Police, DSS and NSCDC officials.

Tension began to build up when it became clear that APC supporters loyal to Amosun and Abiodun as well as loyalists of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade were desperate to outshine one another.

Amosun, who is opposed to the candidature of Abiodun, is supporting Akinlade as his anointed governorship candidate.

At some point, armed security agents had to disperse the surging crowd with tear gas.

However, in the heat of the clash which left several people injured, Amosun accused Police and DSS operatives of bias, saying they prevented a lot of people and admirers of the president from entering into the venue. He appealed to the security agencies to stop preventing supporters of the President from entering the venue.
