Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on a project called the Real Careers AI Talent Gap Analyzer.

The idea came from a simple problem:

Many professionals don’t know how their current skills compare to the requirements of their target jobs.

The prototype currently uses:

• Google Forms for data collection

• Airtable as the backend database

• Analytics-based scoring models

• Automated report generation

• Power BI-style dashboards for visualization

The goal is to automatically:

✔ Assess candidate skills

✔ Identify skill gaps

✔ Calculate job readiness scores

✔ Generate personalized career recommendations

As a Data Analyst, it’s been interesting moving from building reports for organizations to building an actual data product.
