A 16-year-old Christian boy was reportedly confronted by 80 angry mob who insisted he should be hanged over Facebook post that insulted Islam.

Nabeel Masih was hasten out of a court hearing to escape the fury of the angry Muslim who threatened to get at the entire family, in Punjab province.

According to The Express, Masih was accused of posting on his profile, a Photograph of Kaaba in Mecca- one ascribed as of the holiest sites in Islam. The “insulting and sacrilegious” image showed the Kaaba with a pig’s head on top, Locals claimed.

“There were about 80 people of different age groups including students that were present in the premises only for Nabeel’s hearing and each of them was continuously calling on the phone for other people to come. Even the lawyers were threatened,” Masih Legal team said.

Around 220 girls were taken from their school in 2014 in Chibok in Borno state, north eastern Nigeria, where Boko Haram has waged a seven-year insurgency aimed at creating an Islamic state, killing thousands and displacing more than two million people. The 21 that were released on Thursday were reunited with their families in an emotional ceremony, and government informs that eighty three more could be released as soon as possible

News of the potential release of 83 more of the girls came yesterday as the twenty-one released last week were reunited with their families during a Christian ceremony held for them in the capital Abuja. A faction of the militant group released 21 of the girls on Thursday after the Red Cross and the Swiss government brokered a deal. They were brought from the north-eastern city of Maiduguri to the capital Abuja to meet state officials.

“The faction said it is ready to negotiate if the government is willing to sit down with them,” said Shehu, adding that the state is prepared to negotiate with the branch of Boko Haram.

In recent days, the Nigerian army has been carrying out an offensive in the Sambisa forest, a stronghold of Boko Haram. The Islamic State-allied splinter group said the rest of the kidnapped Chibok girls were with the part of Boko Haram under the control of figurehead Abubakar Shekau, according to Shehu.

A schoolgirl named Gloria Dame said the girls had survived for 40 days without food and narrowly escaped death at least once. “I was… [in] the woods when the plane dropped a bomb near me but I wasn’t hurt,” Dame told the congregation. Speaking in the local Hausa language, she added: “We had no food for one month and 10 days but we did not die. We thank God.”

“We can all see the joy and emotions of the parents,” Information Minister Lai Mohamed said. He added that talks with the Islamists would continue “until all the girls have been released”.

According to compiled numbers from respected news and research organizations, every second $3,075.64 is being spent on pornography. Every second 28,258 internet users are viewing pornography. In that same second 372 internet users are typing adult search terms into search engines. Every 39 minutes a new pornographic video is being created in the U.S. It’s big business. The pornography industry has larger revenues than Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo, Apple and Netflix combined. 2006 Worldwide Pornography Revenues ballooned to $97.06 billion.

In March of 2002, Pastor Rick Warren, author of ‘Purpose Driven Life” conducted a survey on porn use on Pastor.com. Of the 1,351 pastors who responded, 54% of them had viewed internet pornography within the last year, and 30% of these pastors had visited a porn site within the last 30 days.

It’s quite obvious that the sinful habits of lust poses a serious threat to Christian life and work with God. Pastor are not exempted from being tempted with sexual sin. A pastor from Limpopo, South Africa took his life after he mistaken sent nude pictures to a church member on whatsup group.

Pastor Letsego of Christ Embassy, who is married, thought he was sending the nude picture to his mistress, a church member, mistakenly sent it to Church Whatsup group.

Upon realizing his mistake, he exited the group. Effort made to reach him after the shock from member was futile as he stopped taking any calls. The following day he was found hanged-dead in his rented church apartment.

Before the ugly incident some members of the church, however, suspected the two are having an extra-marital relationship but never would have imagined it will lead to this.

“Pastor’s antics have always been a cause for concern, he was always seen in the company of one of the deacons named Miriam and we suspected there was more to their friendship than meets the eye,” the church member said.

When rumour circulated about their closeness, the wife enquired of him but he denied all the allegation.

“Quizzed by his wife and congregants, he would shrug off the allegations and say as a Pastor he was a father to everyone and Miriam was his favourite Daughter,” a church member said.

In 2015, Pastor John Gibson of First Southern Baptist Church in Pearlington, Mississippi, allegedly committed suicide six days after his name was exposed by hackers of the Ashley Madison adultery website.

Gibson left a suicide note. His wife, Christi admitted he had struggled with sexual addiction and depression in the past which might cost his job.

It wasn’t so bad that we wouldn’t have forgiven it, and so many people have said that to us, but for John, it carried such a shame,” she told CNN. “What we know about him is that he poured his life into other people, and he offered grace and mercy and forgiveness to everyone else, but somehow he couldn’t extend that to himself.”

Rev. Seth Oiler, 42, of First United Methodist Church, died by suicide at his church-owned home. Oiler had been placed on leave after admitting to an affair with staff member.

As the news of his demise spread many wonder why a pastor, not to mention a father would take his own life even if he is faced the worst of dilemmas.

Oiler, Gibson and Letsego; in a quest to seek relief, never seek God but turn to death for relief, because they couldn’t stand the pain, emotional trauma, shame, remorse, betrayal and hopelessness.

Missionary Jeffery Woodke was abducted from his home in Abalak in western Niger at around 9pm local time on Friday. The American aid worker kidnapped by gunmen in Niger was a Christian missionary who had links to Youth with A Mission (YWAM), a spokesman has confirmed.

Woodke – who has lived in Niger since 1992 – has been working with JEMED, a local organisation linked to YWAM which helps people struggling from such issues as drought, lack of access to education, and disease. "Jeff has spent over a quarter of a century involved in missions ministry," a biographical thumbnail of Woodke on the Redwood Coast website said. "He has committed the past 25 years of his life to a ministry he founded in Niger amongst a number of unreached people groups."

Residents reported hearing gunfire near the aid worker's house late on Friday. The town mayor, Ahmed Dilo, told Reuters that gunmen first came on a motorbike to kill the guard before the truck came to take Woodke away. The interior minister said one National Guard stationed at the house was also killed.

"At the time of the abduction, two other men were killed including a local Tuareg night guard and a national guard. It is not known where he has been taken and no group has yet claimed responsibility for his abduction" Thompson said.

A statement from Niger's interior ministry on Saturday said after being abducted, Woodke was driven across the desert towards Mali. "These criminals are now heading towards Mali. Our forces are on their trail," said interior minister Mohamed Bazoum.

Pope Francis has reportedly saddened by news of union of two former nuns who called their love ‘a gift from God’.

According to Breitbart, Vatican Undersecretary of State, Archbishop Angelo Becciu wrote in a tweet translated in English, “What sadness on the face of the Pope when I read him the news of the two ‘nun’ brides,” he tweeted.

The two ex-nuns, Federica is a native of Southern Italy and her partner Isabel is South American, both in their 40s, walked through the aisle, in a civil union celebrated in the Turin City Hall in September.

The two sisters who met during a missionary trip to Guinea Bissau, had claimed Pope Francis himself with encouraging them to move forward in their relationship with this comment, “Who am I to judge?” That phrase “opened our hearts,” they said.

“Leave the religious life and begin a path of freedom and faith lived with serenity, without scandal, beneath the merciful gaze of God,” the Nuns added.

Meanwhile, the pope in a press release said bluntly: "The church must say it's sorry for not having comported itself well many times, many times."

"I believe that the church not only must say it's sorry ... to this person that is gay that it has offended," he added.

In a sprawling document that seeks to address the wide variety of challenges facing the family today. The pope wrote: "There are absolutely no grounds for considering homosexual unions to be in any way similar or even remotely analogous to God’s plan for marriage and family.”

“It is unacceptable ‘that local Churches should be subjected to pressure in this matter and that international bodies should make financial aid to poor countries dependent on the introduction of laws to establish ‘marriage’ between persons of the same sex’,” Pope Francis added.

Whether the Pope’s free spirit is posing a problem or the church dogma has prompted their actions, might leave you thinking whether the union meet the demands or they wittingly went against God’s commandment on marriage.
