A Pagan Priest made headlines after he won the right to wear horn in his driver’s license photo.

The ‘Priest of Pan’, Phelan MoonSong, as he is known, was initially denied the right but successfully fought to get it approved after being rejected by the Bangor Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BWV).

MoonSong who has been wearing the goat horn since 2008 claims he feels naked without them.

MoonSong who tried putting them on for a new driver's license, was told they would have to be approved by the secretary of state and had to submit religious documentation to prove his faith claim was genuine.

“Had my first pic [sic] taken at the Bangor BMV where they asked me send in doc to get it approved..was never told it was rejected till I called back last week,” MoonSong wrote in a Facebook post.

MoonSong mailed a personal essay on why his “Horns of Pan” were of important to him put was declined, he however stated that his horns were no different to a nun’s habit or a Sikh’s turban.He reportedly told the BMV that he was “an ordained Pagan minister.”

The BMV relented but after MoonSong sought advice from the Maine Civil Liberties Union. He later received his ID complete with horns fully visible in his mail.

"They sent me nothing else or no further explanation. Just received my ID in the mail after my last visit," he told RT.
He is hoping to start a temple in his hometown of Millinocket, in order to provide a “safe, friendly environment to celebrate and honor the old Goddesses and Gods.”

A 36 year old South African pastor drowned while facilitating a baptism ceremony in a river on Saturday, and his body was recovered a few meters below the surface. Source reported that the police rushed to the Ulmazi River near the Ezimbokodweni Primary School to respond to a report about a pastor who drowned while conducting baptism. Together with police divers, the medical rescuers looked for the body of the said pastor which was found a few meters below the water's surface and subsequently submitted the body to investigators.

Similar to this was a separate incident which happened earlier this year, six of nine children who participated in a baptism ceremony in a river in eastern Zimbabwe ended up dead. Police said the two members of an apostolic church who had taken the children had tried to escape before authorities caught them. The church members had reportedly taken nine children to a river in Muriwo village. Two boys and four girls drowned during the baptism ceremony.

American Atheist Group reportedly launched a campaign telling Christians not to go to Church on Christmas day.

The group installed billboards in several cities including Colorado Springs encouraging people to skip church on Christmas.

“U going to church this Xmas?” She responds, “Lol. No way. I don’t believe that stuff anymore.” The friend replies, “What will your parents say?” She texts back, saying, “They’ll get over it. :-P,” reads one conversation on one of their billboard design.

Another design sited the famous campaign slogan of US President-Elect Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” which was paraphrased as: “Make Christmas Great Again, Skip Church!”

The group in a press release said that it aims to tackle the “stigma” non-believers face in America.

“It is important for people to know religion has nothing to do with being a good person, and that being open and honest about what you believe – and don’t believe – is the best gift you can give this holiday season,” said president David Silverman.

“More and more Americans are leaving religion, but we still have work to do when it comes to fighting the stigma many atheists face,” David added.

Yazidi Woman Who Was Raped, Tortured and Forced To Convert By ISIS Tells Her Tale


A Yazidi woman by the name Gazal, aged 22 was kidnapped along with her family when ISIS overran the Sinjar region of Iraq in August 2014.

She was kept as a sex slave by ISIS for more than two years and has now been rescued and reunited with her family. They were first held along with other captured Yazidis in a school, and were later transferred to Mosul. They were given only tiny amounts of food and dirty water, meaning they were forced to drink urine and soon became seriously ill.

According Basima, Gazal’s 17 year old sister in law, ISIS militants began “demanding to know who was still a virgin,”And from the age of eight, they were taking girls to the market to sell for a cigarette.” Basima and a few others tried disguising themselves as men by cutting their hair off and dressing in male clothing. “We thought that if they mistook us for boys, we would be taken out and killed rather than raped,” she said. “But instead, when they knew our trick, the man came in and stripped us in front of everybody. In front of everybody, hundreds, they touched us everywhere, sexually abused us. My father and brother had to watch. And that was the last I saw of them.”

The women were transferred to Raqqa, and last year Basima and another sister-in-law, 22-year-old Nadifa, were rescued, but not before suffering torture at the hands of their captors.

Gazal, meanwhile, was chosen by an ISIS militant to be his sex slave. He forced her to convert to Islam, tortured her and raped her. She was then sold on to another fighter, who abused her baby son. Gazal was finally rescued after her family paid her captor a ransom of $25,000, and last Thursday they were reunited at an IDP camp in northern Iraq.

Yazidism is an offshoot of Zoroastrianism, which blends ancient religious traditions with both Christianity and Islam. ISIS believes them to be “devil-worshippers” and has systematically persecuted members of the faith since its rise to power in 2014.

When militants took over the Sinjar region two year ago, up to 5,000 Yazidi men were killed in a series of massacres and thousands of woman and children taken captive. More than 3,000 are still missing.

The black leaders which includes bishops of most black churches, wrote an Open letter to Clinton expressing dissatisfaction over her stance on their First Amendment right to religious freedom and abortion. The letter was delivered yesterday to Clinton’s campaign headquarters in Brooklyn, New York by Dr. Jacqueline C. Rivers, the executive director of the Seymour Institute on Black Church and Policy Studies.

The letter titled “An Open Letter to Hillary Clinton Regarding Religious Freedom for Black America” had a handful of signatories who are hoping to set up a meeting with Clinton candidate to discuss some of the critical issues.

The Letter reads: Religious freedom is a precious right that we, as the leaders of the Black Church, must defend vigorously. While our society benefits in immeasurable ways from the principled and kindly lives of Christians and other people of faith, in particular as they serve the vulnerable in our midst, clearly our faith also brings us into conflict with secular society. It is at this very point that the brilliance of the framers of the United States constitution is evident, because they designed a system that guarantees people of every faith, as well as those of no faith at all, the right to follow their conscience. The highest courts in this land have gone on to defend the right of people of faith to honor the dictates of their religion unless there is a pressing need on the part of the state to intervene. The religious freedom laws currently in force ensure the right of the Black Church to fulfill its calling to faithful observance of our sacred texts, and the right of all other people of faith to do likewise. At the same time, they protect the rights of atheists, agnostics and indeed, people with every possible position on religion.

The UN human rights office said on Friday that ISIS fighters have abducted "tens of thousands" of men, women and children from areas around Mosul to use as human shields.

The jihadist Sunni militants killed at least 232 people on Wednesday, including 190 former Iraqi security forces (ISF) and 40 civilians who refused to obey their orders.

Credible reports suggest that ISIS has been forcing tens of thousands of people from their homes in sub-districts around Mosul and have forcibly relocated numbers of civilians inside the city itself since the operation began on the 17th of October to restore Iraqi government control over Mosul.

Source confirms that nearly 8,000 families, of roughly six people each, were abducted in sub-districts including Shura. "ISIL's depraved cowardly strategy is to attempt to use the presence of civilian hostages to render certain points, areas or military forces immune from military operations, effectively using tens of thousands of women, men and children as human shields.”Many of those who refused to comply were shot on the spot," source said.

A Seventh-day Adventist lay minister by the name Dr. Eric Walsh was demanded by the Georgia officials to hand over his sermons to the state government, as a result an online petition started by the Family Research Council condemning the act, calling it an attempt to silence people of faith.

According to the petition as addressed to the Georgia governor Nathan Deal, it stated, “I stand with Dr. Eric Walsh’s freedom to believe and live according to his deeply-held beliefs. The demand that he hand over his sermons, sermon notes, and all pastoral documents including his Bible represents a government intrusion into the sanctity of the church, pastor’s study, and pulpit.”

Megachurch pastor of 50,000-Member Church from the China’s northern Shanxi province was reportedly released on Oct. 10, after seven long waited year in Prison.

Pastor Yang Rongli and her husband, Wang Xiaoguang, were arrested while traveling to Taiyuan, to protest the demolition of a house church in Linfen, China Aid, an international non-profit Christian human rights organization committed to promoting religious freedom and rule of law in China detailed.

The couple were convicted of “gathering a mob to disturb public order” for holding a prayer rally in November. Yang was sentenced seven years in Prison and Wang-three years and were fined a total of 40,000 Yuan. She was forced to serve her sentence despite been falsified.

“Upon release, Yang showed physical signs of the brutality she endured while incarcerated. Her hair grayed due to malnutrition and a lack of sunlight, and at the time of the report she suffered from two kidney stones, diabetes, and a heart problem,” China Aid quoted.

“Despite her ailments, she was reported to be in good spirits regarding her freedom, and has no complaints or resentment.”

One third of the world don't mind if you are gay. Do you buy into this demonic deception?

A survey of almost 100,000 people in 65 countries showed this week that a third of adults believe people of the same sex should be allowed to marry.
Some 32% said same sex marriage should be legal, while 45% said it should not be and the remaining 23% replied they didn't know. The international lesbian, gay, bisexual, Trans and intersex association (ILGA) survey said the rights group said a breakdown of the results highlighted deep regional divisions.
Only 19% of respondents in Africa and 26% in Asia said they approve of same sex marriage against 35% in Oceania the online survey found.
These divisions reflect that rights advocates in Africa and Asia have focused on more pressing issues such as fighting discrimination against gays rather than promoting acceptance of same sex marriage, said study co-author Aengus Carroll.
An ILGA survey published earlier this year found two third of adults would be upset if their child introduced someone of the same sex as their better half.
