Onyi22:More money... |
MAICKY:Time waits for no man. |
FarahAideed:Where is the evidence that Abacha stole? Do you think Nigeria would have recovered any dime if he was alive? Babangida is also your national hero for cancelling an election and killing hundreds of Nigerians including journalists and students? |
All they wanted is to escape from the country so they don't get killed. Wicked Terrorists still killed them for trying to run away. Religion is causing more harm globally than good when the whole idea behind religion is to make people respect other people out of fear of a supreme being who knows all and sees all and who will judge all after death. |
umunaija:Amen! Both home and abroad. |
Mexzy4sho:Jihadist politicians |
ChEkWaSIyKe:Me too |
Nigeriadondie:They own most media houses directly or indirectly. They have so much mastered this game of oppression but Babangida and Abacha laid the foundation for so much impunity we are seeing today. |
Biodun556:Sadly true! More sad that same oppressors own and control the media thereby controlling the narratives after all the atrocities they have committed. |
Biodun556:I was amazed by how Arise TV treated him like a statesman and even followed up with panel of analysts to discuss his view on who should be Nigeria's president come 2023. After all the attrocities committed by Babangida and Abacha in this country. Big shame on Arise TV and all supporters of Babangida! |
Mayng01:The only thing that can stop them is for Nigerians to rise up and the time is now not 2023. |
Jostoman:All these killings is for their god! |
MOSCOW, Aug 25 (Reuters) - A brawl broke out in Armenia's parliament on Wednesday as lawmakers hurled objects across the floor of the house and grappled with one another. The scenes of chaos erupted after a ruling party lawmaker described some of the country's past defence ministers as "traitors", the TASS news agency reported. Domestic political tensions have run high in Armenia since a war last year in which Azeri forces drove ethnic Armenian forces out of swathes of territory they had controlled since the 1990s in and around the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. Security officers could be seen pouring onto the floor of the house to quell the disturbance in television footage. The parliament called a recess. The current parliament convened for the first time earlier this month after this summer's elections that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's party won. https://www.reuters.com/world/armenian-lawmakers-brawl-parliament-2021-08-25/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skuFNS4ELkg |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQZ1LIeX37k Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye Head of House, Liquorose, read the riot act to housemates for disrespecting her office and countering her suggestions. Liquorose said this on Wednesday night after the Supa Komando task, as a result of the failure of the first part of the task. The initial part of the task involved performing the brand jingle but housemates, including Deputy Saga, countered Liquorose when she made suggestions. As a result, she gathered the house for a meeting after the task and gave them a strict warning against disrespect in the house. She said, “From now on, if I’m trying to talk and you’re shouting, I’m going to keep quiet till you guys are done. Then if you feel that you guys can go in there to ask Big Brother for the right brief, you can go in there. “I won’t pass the message if you guys are not giving me the attention I deserve and the respect. If I’m trying to address or settle something, you guys are countering me. “You are messing with me mentally. What happened today was very disrespectful and that was the least I expected from every one of you here, everybody included. “As HoH, I nominated my deputy. So I expect you guys to stand by whatever I say.” After her long talk, Angel and Nini came to apologise to her for their behaviour during the jingle task and they promised loyalty. Later on, Liquorose had a discussion with her Deputy and he also apologised to her. https://punchng.com/bbnaija-s6-housemates-apologise-as-liquorose-warns-against-disrespect/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Twitter#Echobox=1629959378 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbCtdzj9ghY Former Navy Commodore, Kunle Olawunmi on Wednesday hinted that the Nigerian government knows those behind the decade-long Boko Haram insurgency in the country. He made the comment during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily. “They [government] know. Of course, it is in the news,” Commodore Olawunmi said. “In April this year, the government said they had arrested 400 Bureau De Change (BDCs)-related people that were sponsoring Boko Haram. They told us.” The presidency had earlier said it would publish names of those behind the Boko Haram war with the development generating heated controversy across the country. But months down the line, the long-waited list is yet to be made public, a situation the ex-military officer says does not bode well for the government who he accused of shielding criminals. “Try them, we know them. Why can’t this government, if not that they are partisan, bring those people out for trial?” he asked, corroborating calls from several quarters for the Federal Government to make good its promise. He claimed that the government has developed cold feet in fighting the insurgency because some of those backing Boko Haram are now top-ranking government officials. “I can’t come on air and start mentioning names of people that are presently in government that the boys we arrested mentioned,” he said, referencing his time as a member of the military intelligence team in 2017. “Some of them are governors now. Some of them are in the Senate. Some of them are in Aso Rock.”Olawunmi’s remark is the latest in the continued debates about how Nigeria can end the Boko Haram war which has led to thousands of deaths and displaced millions especially in the northeast and some neighbouring countries. While the military says the ongoing onslaught against the terrorists has yielded results and the criminals surrendering in ‘droves’, calls for granting amnesty to some of the “repentant” members of the sect have also divided opinions among stakeholders. Advocates, citing the amnesty programme of the ex-President Musa Yar’Adua to ex-Niger Delta militants, say it will bring peace to the troubled North-East. But Olawunmi has faulted the move. “The challenge we have in this country cannot be solved the same way we solved the problem of the Niger Delta. I told them we can’t use the same strategy for Boko Haram,” he argued, citing when he served a security and intelligence brief at the Defence Headquarters between 2016 and 2017. According to him, fishing out the sponsors is a major way of ending the war. “The centre of gravity of Boko Haram and insurgency in Nigeria are the sponsors of that programme,” the professor of Intelligence and Global Security Studies, added. https://www.channelstv.com/2021/08/25/insecurity-the-govt-knows-sponsors-of-boko-haram-says-olawumi/ |

Apus:Na to dey use sense go mission now. I'm sure they too are scared now. |
Politicians have the resources to fly abroad for medical care, do you? |
Rugaria:Even the Terrorists believe they are doing God's work by killing"unbelievers". Every terrorist sympathiser or enabler is a Terrorist himself I agree with you that any Nigeran who cannot see or is unsure of Buhari's Muslim/Fulani's agenda should have their head examined. |
lwise:You can't be on the fence on this issue. The facts are too clear! |
yarimo:At least he is defending his people against oppressors, Buhari should do the same. |
obiekunie01:You can't understand until you leave Naija! |
Trumann:You caught him red handed! He is a religious and ethnic bigot like his principal. |
A Nigerian firm, Meed Consultants, is recruiting doctors in different specialities under a programme tagged, ‘Saudi Ministry of Health Doctors Recruitment August 2021.” Thousands of Nigerian Doctors lined up at the Sheraton Hotels and Towers in Abuja today applying for job opportunities in Saudi Arabia. Some of the Doctors spoke to Galaxy TV expressing their frustrations and disappointment in the leadership of the Ministry of Health on how they have handled the strike embarked on by the Resident Doctors. One of the Doctors (Vivian Okolo) said she was surprised to when see her Medical School Teacher on the recruitment ground today applying to leave Nigeria for Saudi Arabia. While the Taliban cried out this week to American Authorities to stop evacuating their professionals, it appears the Nigerian Government cannot be bothered with the alarming rate at which Nigerian Doctors and other professionals are leaving the country. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz2-cj-tGMY |
buckeyemedia:Nigeria needs to be grateful to people like Ortom. Cries of foul play from ordinary Nigerians sounded like opposition cries to the international community until people like Ortom started crying out. The whole world now knows Muhammadu Buhari for who he is. He is either totally incompetent or a Terrorist! There is no midpoint at all, it's either of those two. You better join us in condemning his incompetence before the massacre comes home to you or your family. |
A US Army officer was filmed on a US military jet while acting like a Lagos bus conductor. The officer, identified as Simi Balogun, was raised in Lagos. The video he did, pretending to be a Lagos bus conductor has now gone viral on social media. The US Army officer was seen in the video calling out for passengers into the military jet, “Ketu, Mile 12,” while hanging on the entrance of the military jet like a conductor hanging from a bus. He then jumps down from the aircraft and adds in Yoruba, “Enter with your change o. There’s no change.” The video has led to reactions from Nigerians, with many saying "you can take a man out of Lagos but you can’t take the Lagos out of him". https://www.herald.ng/video-lagos-raised-us-military-officer-pretends-to-be-lagos-bus-conductor-while-on-us-military-jet/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDMaGWwKbNY |
triple996:How is Ortom worse than Buhari? As far as I'm concerned, Buhari is the worst Nigerian I have ever known. Using his office as CinC to support Killers! |
