Renewed my passport today at the Ikoyi office. Pretty smooth only that I had to wait for a while for 2 IC to sign on my document because I had a little above 6 months validity on my passport. After the approval, every other thing was pretty straight forward. Captured and the passport will be ready by 10th August as stated on the collection slip.

What a short time frame! Did you use anyone's influence or you just went on your own?

Yes but that will be ordinary passport, not epassport , and you can do that in festac office.

If I had realized that my NIN Date of birth was different from the one in my passport, I would have gone for ordinary passport that doesn't require NIN.

Know that they don't encourage DIY at festac office else you may wait for so long before you get it. I can give you a contact of an immigration officer there. He bills 30k to get it done within 3 days.

I will just forfeit the earlier payment I made for epassport and go for this one if NIN head office doesn't open officially next month.

I can never spend total of 45k just to change date of birth unofficially this period

I think your best option is to go learn French and take the TEF exam. At this point, age is not on your side and CRS scores may not come lower than 470 anytime soon. French can add 42 points if you pass..however, it is not a walk in the park. If you are married, and your wife is younger, then she may be better of being the PA. If you aren't married, you can consider falling in love and marrying someone that has a Masters and aged between 25-28 who is also interested in moving to Canada. I wish you all the best.

I will be at 454 if I bag my masters next year and I ace IELTS. I don't think that will be enough with the way CRS score is going up these days...

In another development, if I quickly do one short course and ace IELTS now that I am 33, my CRS score will be 452 which is just 2 points lesser than waiting to complete Masters degree next year. Is 2 points worth the stress & time to complete Masters ?

What do you think I should do now ? Should I register for BCS if it's still possible, write IELTS and dive into the pool or I should kuku wait for masters next year?

Liase with a doctor to tell each of them you need a kidney. Let's see which of them who will be willing to donate for you. Don't let it end with the word of mouth bro. Fix a different dates for the transplant for each of them and let's see who will turn up at the hospital and who will run away... Simple thing... There are plethora of ways, I just decided to give you one. You can ask for more opinions if this isn't okay by you

The doctor might deem it fit to recommend some tests that might not be part of the routine test and they would require separate payments. I'll advice you walk in a good clinic around you and find out the likely costs .You can always reach me on this platform .
