Nigerian tech entrepreneur Chidi Nwaogu, co-founder of Savvy, a global program that trains, supports, and funds aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs, has been acknowledged by HundrED, and awarded the HundrED Global Collection Award for Leading Education Innovation.

Of a total of 3,488 nominations, Nwaogu’s nomination, Savvy, was amongst those awarded as being the most impactful and scalable innovation in education.

According to his post on social media, it reads, “We’re humbled to be recognized as one of the inspiring innovations that are changing the face of education in a post-COVID world.”

The sale has been investigated by lawmakers who are concerned about how much money has already been pumped into the bank to save it.

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is set to unveil the digital certificate platform on Thursday, October 20, 2022, leveraging technology to improve its service delivery to stakeholders in diverse ways.

The unveiling of the product is one of the council’s steps to technological advancement to better the lots of the people. The general public and all stakeholders are urged to take advantage of this new WAEC Digital Certificate Platform, designed to eliminate the bureaucratic bottlenecks associated with the manual procedures of certificate issuance and collection the exam body said.

Last week, the rapper’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were locked, after he posted anti-Semitic messages.

Parler is used mainly by US conservatives like the former United States President, Donald Trump, and other personalities with far-right views and describes itself as a “free speech” alternative to mainstream platforms.

The Chinese government has opened police stations in Nigeria and over 20 countries in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa in its endeavor to tackle the increasing criminal activities of its citizens abroad.

The Chinese Communist Party called them, “110 Overseas Police Service Centres” to crack “down on all kinds of illegal and criminal activities involving overseas Chinese.”

According to human rights watchdog Safeguard Defenders in its latest report, ‘110 Overseas Chinese Transnational Policing Gone Wild’, the stations were established across Africa, Europe, and America, among others.

Apart from Nigeria, Lesotho and Tanzania are the only African nations in China has set up international ‘police stations.

The report by Safeguard Defender disclosed, “Rather than cooperating with local authorities in the full respect of territorial sovereignty, it prefers…to cooperate with (United Front-linked) overseas ‘NGOs’ or ‘civil society associations’ across the five continents, setting up an alternative policing and judicial system within third countries, and directly implicating those organizations in the illegal methods employed to pursue ‘fugitives’.”
