Benue Is Atiku 100% - Dr. Oche Otorkpa

After what happened today in Gboko any doubt about the acceptance of H.E Atiku and Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa across Benue State should be completely erased.

The massive reception accorded the unifier at the Palace of the Tor Tiv, a homecoming for our Presidential candidate is a clear indication that the good people of Benue state know the difference between a pretender and a performer.

This is just a royal visitation, not a rally. Benue is Atiku 100% and a vote for H.E. Atiku and Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is a vote for two good men who mean well for our people.

We told the World that APC has no candidate because years of using and dealing with hard drugs in the US have taken their toll on him. Now one of their no-nonsense directors has confirmed what we have been saying all this time.

Here is How The People's Gazette Reported it:

"Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, is physically and mentally unfit to govern, Naja’atu Muhammad has disclosed in an explosive interview.

Speaking with DCL Hausa, Ms. Muhammad said that the former Lagos governor might be battling severe dementia, which is identified by memory loss and also result in loss of the ability to carry on a conversation and respond to the environment.

“I sat with him for two hours in London; when you talk of green, he will give you an answer of red. He can’t even decipher. He has very serious dementia; I believe he has Alzheimer’s because he cannot even hold a cup of tea,” she said.

Ms. Muhammad, a former APC chieftain, recently resigned from her position as director of civil society engagement in the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on grounds that she could no longer serve national interests in clear conscience if she continues to support Mr. Tinubu’s presidential bid.

Ms. Muhammad clarified her comments in the interview, confirming the former Lagos governor’s widely known terrible health situation.

She revealed that during a two-hour private meeting in London, Mr. Tinubu slept for almost the entirety of the time she was with him.

“Asiwaju that I sat with for two hours, slept most of the time, it was Bisi Akande that I was talking to. Most importantly he is not only physically unfit, but he is also mentally unfit, whether we want it or not, this is the truth,” she said.

She added that while Mr. Tinubu’s associates may feel the burden to repay him for the political goodwill he has shown in the past, but not as far as to entrust the leadership of Africa’s most populous country in his frail hands.

“But when you talk of the leadership of over two hundred million people, you know that if you remove tribal sentiments, you know that he is incapable; those that will rule are those around him. This is the reality. He is mentally deranged – I said it,” she added.

A spokesperson for Mr. Tinubu did not respond to calls and messages seeking comments on Ms. Muhammed’s assertions."

Anyone who still thinks that Tinubu stands a chance of getting anything in Katsina or the North should bury that thought.

The sea of passionate and enthusiastic men and women who trooped out to welcome H.E Atiku Abubakar in Katsina today is a clear indication that Tinubu is simply wasting his time because the people have rejected him and his party.

From the North to the South, millions of Nigerians continue to embrace the candidacy of H.E Atiku Abubakar and Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, a ticket that is set to revolutionize governance in Nigeria with a RESET agenda designed to help rescue our country and reverse all the retrogressive policies unleashed on the citizens by the directionless government of the APC.

PoliticsRe: I Will Clear ASUU Salary Backlog - Atiku Declares by stmakun: 2:46pm On Dec 12, 2022
Atiku is the only candidate among his fellow contestant that understands and have a passion for Eduction, he has achieved that through his private university. A vote for Atiku is a vote for the redemption of our educational system.
ochejoseph:
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has promised to meet the demand of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to pay their backlog of salaries if he is elected president.

Though the union embarked on an eight-month strike which ended in October, it has since been at loggerheads with the Federal Government over unpaid salaries, arguing that its members will make up for the lost time in the classroom.

However, Atiku assured the academics of clearing the backlog during his appearance at The People’s Townhall organized by Channels Television in Abuja on Saturday.

“I’m going to increase the funding level (of education) as against what is currently obtained, no doubt about that because I am a firm and committed believer in education.

“I have undertaken to say, ‘Whatever backlog – we are going to clear all the backlogs and make sure that you go back to classes and students go back to school,” he said.

The former vice president acknowledged the “sometimes invisible roadblocks,” explaining that when the Federal Government releases money for the universities, it does not go straight to the universities.

According to him, the funds are channeled through “another federal bureaucracy” that “might decide to do whatever they want” before the monies are sent to the individual universities.

“Why not remove the bottleneck?” he asked. “Whatever is due to university A, B, C, D, send it directly!”

The PDP candidate recalled an experience during his tenure as vice president between 1999 and 2007, where according to him, a visit to several embassies revealed that “all the staff” were not owed for “several months.”

“I even visited Togo which is the headquarters of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). Every West African country has a building and staff quarters as poor as they may be, and Nigeria didn’t have, a founding member of ECOWAS,” he said.

“I came back and called the minister of finance and said, ‘What is happening? Let’s do something different.’ She said, ‘What?’ ‘Let’s ask every embassy to give us their budget.

“And when they give us their budget, we don’t send the money through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), we send the money straight to the embassies.’ That immediately eliminated the backlog of all the salaries that they were owing to our staff abroad.”

But, according to Atiku, the ministry was not pleased.

“They (MFA) kept on fighting. So, sometimes you have to be bold enough to change some of the processes or procedures that are currently obtained in the public service to get service delivered to where they should be delivered,” he said.

“I was told of a story where, of course, some funding for universities was stalled at the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC): ‘NUC, what do you want to operate?’ (This) much. ‘Universities, where do you want to operate?’ (This) much.’ You give them directly. Why do you have to go through NUC?

“As I’ve said, I’ve pledged to increase the funding of education as far as our budget is concerned. Sadly, we are not even meeting our counterparts in West Africa. They may be poorer than we are, but we are not spending as much, as far as the educational sector is concerned.”

PoliticsAtiku Tackles Tinubu Over ‘power-snatching’ Statement by stmakun(op): 9:39am On Dec 10, 2022
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has lampooned his counterpart in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, for saying his (Tinubu) supporters should grab and snatch power at all costs.

Tinubu in a viral video recorded in London, the United Kingdom, was seen telling some APC leaders and his supporters that “political power is not going to be served in a restaurant. It is not served a la carte. At all costs, fight for it, grab it, snatch it and run with it.”

Atiku, while reacting on Friday through his spokesman, Paul Ibe, said Tinubu’s statement has shown that the members of the APC are “enemies” of democracy.

Ibe, on Friday, stated that Tinubu and the APC have no achievement in the last seven years, adding that their plan “is to snatch, steal, and subvert the cause of democracy”.

He said: “This is a confirmation that these are enemies of democracy masked as progressives. They are enablers of violence and snatching of ballot boxes.

“It is obvious even to the blind that the APC and its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, do not have any records of achievement in the last seven years plus to campaign on. And so their plan is to snatch, steal and subvert the cause of democracy.

“All men and women of goodwill who love this country and are truly committed to the bid to recover Nigeria must sleep with their two eyes wide open in the days ahead and on election day because eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.”

2023: Atiku, Okowa Promise To Stabilize Economy, Unite Nigeria

Thousands of PDP supporters trooped into the Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo on Wednesday as the party’s presidential campaign landed in Osun State.

The people of Osun who are still in celebratory mood following the recent inauguration of Senator Ademola Adeleke as their governor trooped out en masse to receive the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other senior party members.

Atiku, while addressing party members during a town hall meeting ahead of the campaign rally, said his government, if elected, will address security, revive the economy, unite the nation and improve the education system.

He noted that since the All Progressive Congress (APC) came to power in 2015, Nigerians have been suffering from bad governance, adding that the PDP is contesting the election to restore Nigeria.

Atiku noted, “If we are voted into office, we will stabilize Nigeria, unite its people, ensure security of lives and property and make sure our people benefit from the good governance of the PDP.”

At the rally, Atiku said: “My brothers and sisters of Osun State I have came to a very thank you and I appeal to you, I plead with you to come out in greater numbers to than you did in the last state election and vote for the PDP in the next general election.

“That is the only way that you can secure your future and the future of your children, we promise you we will not fail you.

“We are not like APC because we have done it before, we have got the experience. We have got the people who have the capacity to bring about changes we are not new as far as governance is concerned in Nigeria.”

Also speaking, Atiku’s wife, Titi, who is from Osun said: “Atiku has come to restructure Nigeria. Atiku has come to give our children jobs.

The present Nigeria is in dear need of someone with an attitude of a nationalist, one with bloodline cut across the country, one who will represent all our six geopolitical zones.
A vote for Atiku/Okowa's ticket is a vote for a better and united Nigeria.
ochejoseph:
Chief Dan Ulasi, the Southeast coordinator of the PDP presidential campaign council, has responded to Kenneth Okonkwo, the spokesperson for Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate who recently accused Chief Ulasi of betraying his people by supporting Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate.

According to Ulasi, Kenneth Okonkwo's
only contribution to the advancement of the igbo nation is kissing women in movies.

Unlike Okonkwo and his parents, Ulasi a Biafran War vetran said that he fought for Biafra in the Nigerian civil war.

I frequently ask Kenneth’s Okonkwo, “Apart from kissing women in movies, what is your contribution to the Igbo people at your age? ” whenever I encounter him. I am fighting for Biafra. He came to call me a bootlegger and I only have one hand that I can’t use, he added. Did his parents argue if he didn’t fight? He add ed.

I agree with Chief Dan Ulasi, Kenneth Okonwo wants us to continue living in bondage. He was one of those who championed the sai Buhari disaster, he has no moral justification to tell any Nigerian what to do.

Today, he is blindly fighting to split opposition votes under the guise of promoting Obi who he clearly knows cannot win so that he can make Tinubu President through the back door.

Nigerians must look beyond his types, Atiku Abubakar and Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa are Nigeria's best chance of kicking out the APC, any other concoction is a mistake that will lead to regret in the event of a TInubu Presidency....God Forbid!

Atiku’s support groups deny joining APC

28th November 2022

Atiku Abubakar

By Victoria Edeme

Support groups of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, have denied reports that they joined the All Progressives Congress.

The Atiku Support Organisation, on behalf of the groups, made this known in a statement made available to The PUNCH on Monday.

Signed by the ASO National Publicity Secretary, Victor Moses, the statement noted that such reports were false.

It read, “It has come to our attention of a fake story concocted by APC goons and making the rounds that some Atiku Support Groups have ditched the PDP for a dying APC.

“We wish to state clearly and unambiguously that the story is false and nothing but propaganda from the camp of the dementia-infested group of people of the APC and should be disregarded.

“Atiku groups are as solid as the rock and like a fine wine, we keep getting better and growing in number every day"

“The APC is a dead party that will cease to exist beginning in 2023. So, what business does the living has to do with the dead?

“By every indices, the APC has plunged Nigeria into a disaster and February 25th, 2023 will be judgment day.

“The forthcoming 2023 presidential election will be a referendum on the dementia-infested and cocaine-trafficking camp of the APC.

“Nigerians will among others decide between agents of light and agents of darkness, between a bag of rice at N7000 in 2015 under PDP and N50,000 in 2022 under the APC, between PMS at N67 under PDP

To this end, I urge all political leaders and elected officials, past and present, at all levels to work in concert with Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed to ensure total victory for his re-election bid and victory for all the candidates on the ballot in the 2023 elections including Governorship, Senatorial, Federal and State Representatives in Bauchi State.

Similarly, I enjoin the leaders and stakeholders of our great party, the PDP, from (A)bia to (Z)amfara, to work assiduously in unity in ensuring that we earn resounding victories in all the positions up for contest in next year’s general election.

This will put our Recovery and Restoration agenda on a firm footing.

Together as one, we shall Recover Nigeria for the good of ALL. -AA

PoliticsI’ll Replicate Sweden, Rwanda In Appointing Women Into Govt – Atiku by stmakun(op): 5:53pm On Nov 23, 2022
John Alechenu, Abuja

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has promised to replicate the policy of gender balance in the appointment of women into sensitive cabinet positions.

He renewed his pledge for an all inclusive government if elected come February, 2023.

Atiku said this during the inauguration of the PDP Women Campaign Council, in Abuja, on Wednesday.

According to him, women have proven themselves as less corrupt and more committed to the democratic process because female voters are known to out number the male folk in successive elections.

He recalled a trip he undertook to Sweden while in office as Vice President of Nigeria.

The PDP candidate said, “ Women are the most loyal party members that was why in PDP we went to create length to make sure that we encourage women and we support women to participate actively in our democratic process and nation building.

“When I was vice-president, I travelled to a country in Europe called Sweden. The Head of government was a woman, Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs was a woman, the Minister of Finance was a woman, the Minister of Education was a woman.

“When I looked at my delegation, it was all men and I was embarrassed. I then committed myself to making sure that as long as I remain in politics, I will promote the advancement of women.

“Therefore, we had no hesitations whatsoever in between 1999 and 2015 to make sure at the very minimal we complied with the Beijin Declaration.”
