the intent of the state government was to restrict the movement of okadas
to some minor roads and streets but you forget that after you make the law
its the inglorious nigerian police that will implement the law...and we know
fully well that the police will not observe the tenets of that law...last week
police started arrested okadas within minor streets here in surulere, under the
guise of carry out the implementation of the new law. who is going to stop them.
the okada riders have been going to stations to bail their bikes for upwards of
N5,000 naira. i dont have an issue with passing a law in this state/country but
if you dont agressively orientate the public to know the parameters of that law
you have just made easy prey out of them where the nigeian police is concerned

The problem is that the CBN is the only institution doing anything. Roads are not being built. We have no new airports. No progess on new power plants. No rail lines. So every time we do something all hell breaks loose.

lol pele so am not the only one that mobitel dealt with.
when i bought into their service last year it was unlimited
so it felt good having fast affordable internet.
then early this year, the management after making so much money
decided to go the apple/mtn and other greedy capitalist way and
milk their customers dry. they changed my beloved unlimited N10,000 naira
plan to 10gb. used it for 2 months and in total i paid n20,000 naira for 7 days
of mobitel access in which i was told i had exhausted 20gb in 7 days.
am also back to my old starcomms, wanted to actually use visafone
found some nice packages on their website. sent someone to their office
only to be told some hogwash about a change in their data plans and that
3gb was now N7,000 naira or something ridiculous like that. i was intialy confused
then went back to their website and noticed they had changed all their info.
ol boy i am back to managing with starcomms ooo. 7k per month 9am to 9pm
i no fit shout oooo . naija isp's are wonderful.

there is no mobitel unlimited plan for 10k
that use to exist about a year ago but
the stupid management of mobitel decided
to change the unlimited plan to a 10gb plan
used it for 2 months and it was hell for me
i kept running out of data within 3 to 4 days
and would call customer care waste my time and
credit complaining to them that their new arrangement
wasnt customer or user friendly. after 2 months got fed up abandoned
the wifi router i bought from them and revived my old starcomms modem
its not fast but its unlimited for a whole month from 9 am in the morning
till night but if you really want an unlimited plan i would suggest visafone
its much more stable than this starcomms i use( dont want to switch yet until
i exhaust the current data plan on my starcomms)

ol boy wish i had an answer for you oooo... been on my starcomms 3g since i left
mobitel. like i mentioned in my earlier posting.. its not as fast as the mobitel
but i have the freedom to browse and download as many movies as i want.
for those who are able to stay within the confines of the 10gb that mobitel
serves up.. all well and good but for oliver twist like myself...hmmm that wont
fly

its more pocket friendly
though not as fast as the mobitel
but its unlimited for a whole month
at 7k. that is way more cheaper than
the 10k i paid for just 4 days usage
on the mobitel plan
