Why should people call Ojukwu names? Simply because he is not from their tribe. Nairaland is just filled with tribal monkeys who inhabit this visionless amalgamated and overbloated entity known as Nigeria. Even Cowards can piss at the grave of a Hero. I don't need to name you,you know yourselves. who the F is Illuminati? ![]() |

Hi Guys, I am new on the thread and would like to become an active member of this thread due to the information and education it offers to end users and dealers of automobiles alike. However my case is a peculiar one indeed as I work in a dealership that sells only brand new cars namely;Honda,Volkswagen(Passenger and Commercial),Hyundai(Passenger and Commercial)i,Audi,Skoda,Porsche. Believe me Brand new vehicles are a delight to own if you can afford them and as a seller you feel good whenever someone drives off from the dealership because you get to earn commissions. The downside being that very few people or individuals can actually afford to buy brand new cars. Most dealerships in Nigeria are franchise holders therefore they hold sole importation rights to the major brands hence we have few dealerships and many grey marketers (the dealers you see on most lagos roads and Berger are known as "GREY MARKET".The grey market dealers can not approach say Toyota Japan to import cars into Nigeria they resort to buying used cars aka Tokunboh from any country they find them available. The corporates ie companies and organisations also go for brand new cars as well as Government agencies and parastatals. For individuals who cannot pay cash, there are several ways of acquiring these brand new cars of your choice namely through bank loans, leasing and Hire purchase options. Brand new cars might be expensive but the dealership retains warranty from the manufacturer which is then transferred to the end user.Warranty is the protection or cover against major component defect or factory errors that maybe detected within the first 1-3 yrs. This the Tokunboh dealer cannot give to someone who buys from them. My point is that what the Tokunboh cars have against the brand new cars is price that is affordability but there is no protection afterwards, the moment money exchanges hands you are on your own,no aftersales service, warranty followup which a good dealership offers end users. Your response please What goes for you? |
