I have d belief dat all outstanding monies will b paid for d second and last tranche...and I also believe d youwin 4 will go on as planned...dat will certainly b d last Youwin installment before d incoming government established deir own scheme...!

You may be right cos my monitor said that the fund are with WB already and only to be released for youwin only or to be held back by WB if youwin is scrapped cos WBANK is impressed with the outcome of the programme.

You may need to call the YouWin secretariat before the monitors will submit their reports to avoid the delay of your second tranche.

I have done so and was told not to worry as my tranche would be released even if independent monitor does not show up. I dont know how true that will be. I've come in contact with another awardee who is supposed to have same independent monitor as me and he said he's not been contacted too. I spoke with my smedan monitor who informed me that a lot of us under him have complained so.

Like i said earlier, there are 3 set of monitors, youwin, smedan and independent monitors... youwin only visiting some randomly selected awardees.. however smedan and the independent will visit every awardee.. And den going forward it will be the independent monitor following up.... regards

During the workshop, we were made to know that monitoring starts on 15th and ends on 23rd. So far i have been visited by smedan but not even a single word from independent monitor.

Guess the 865 would be the first set that opened account, probably within the 1st 2 or 3 week of getting instruction to open account

That's right...also let's not be in a haste to discredit the programme. As regards the disbursement, on the email the word was expect it "FROM 7th Jan" not ON 7th Jan. There is a difference btw the word 'ON and FROM'. So keep up the positive vibe because in matter of hours or few days... You should be smiling to the bank.

We especially the existing businesses have made alot of sacrifices in partaking in this business plan competition with regards to time.
I believe that funds have since before youwin1 been set aside for youwin 1,2 and 3.
I believe in technocrats like NOI and Dr Supo Olusi. I believe that Dr supo who is the coordinator whose mail we have gotten only once from coordinator@youwin.org.ng and take with all seriousness would not send that mail if he is not sure that the funds are really ready for disbursment.
Offcourse he is not a politician except he recently turned to one which i doubt.
We all believe that this program is not a political one but since we are all hoping, i hope some politicians dont key into the current delay to convince youths that the nation is broke as they have purported.
We the youths of this country have for once in our lifetime and of our parents' been given hope by GEJ's administration and would wish that our hope is not dashed!
I also hope that the already dampened enthusiasm of some of us be rekindled by speedy release of this first tranche.
We can help save the economy of our beloved nation and its coorporate existance, hence issues partaining to us should not be treated with kids' gloves.

Why wont YouWin shift the release of the first tranche when some people are already alleging that some awardee will use their YouWin first tranche to buy white goat and ankara and some jokingly responded that they will even use it to buy cow. Some of us don't know that YouWin staff always check nairaland and other forums to see comments. In order to play safe, they simply choose NOT to crack expensive joke. A Youwin 3 awardee into crop farming is just telling me his disbursment schedule shows he is to get 40% of total approved grant as first tranche. I told him it should be an error, cos I hear everyone is getting 20%. Anyone here into crop farming? Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

I guess some angry ones really wanted to use some of the 1st tranche to do something else while some like us had the burden to employ and grow our wealth and move our country forward
