Government has to prioritize education and ensure quality teachers are available and well paid. These days when people have tried and don't get any good job, they just look for a private school to teach without being trained and the knowledge of the subject may also be questionable. Discipline has to also come back to schools so students take their studies seriously. It's an intentional thing if we really want to get it right education wise. |
Rest in peace Legend. |
NJV:You can reach me actually. I will be more than willing to help |
kgr8mike:No pproblem. You can reach out |
Tell him to engage in online tutoring. He doesn't need any full time teaching that will waste away his time and sanity. He can make up to 1m monthly if he's very smart and vast with the use of technology. If at all he would do a full time job, it should be to firstly get established and have a platform. A lot of international students are looking for Maths specialists as private tutors. |

So how has that subsidy helped you as an individual? |
She may not win if she represented Nigeria. They might not even shortlist her. |
My concern is this; most of those people that failed are already teachers in some private schools most likely. Only God knows what they're teaching those poor children. |
GSM is a result oriented man. I love him so much. Well done my Governor. |
Why can't the government have a good database that wouldn't allow for such to happen. They don't even know who does what, everyone is just doing anyhow. That's why all these government loans are free monies cos nobody will check and retrieve them. Most MD's are cashing out big time |
Things have never gone this bad since I was born. I hope we are safe in this country |

I'm on a 2 bedroom flat up and down and as at yesterday, I had spent 19m and I haven't finished it yet. Still have almost 5m estimate to finish up |
If it's just to put up blocks no problem. But to finish a house, you need far more than that I'm on a 2 bedroom flat up and down and as at yesterday, I had spent 19m and I haven't finished it yet. Still have almost 5m estimate to finish up. To sink a borehole alone, to get windows, doors, roof, electrical, etc |
Join monthly contributions of about 100k per month. When it's your turn to pack, ensure you have a goal for the money (maybe investment). You won't want to just spend 1m carelessly. You can equally join a reliable cooperative society and contribute like 20k per month minimum. That makes it easy for you do some capital projects |
Anyways, I am hopeful. God help him to fulfil the promise |
Check yourself very well. You are most likely seeing someone else or you're considering seeing someone else. It's when you compare your spouse with another person that you see only what she doesn't have but the other person has. You even tend to ignore what she has. Try to invest more in your wife. Whatever she looks like now is a function of how you have taken care of her. I can bet if you leave her, it's just a matter of time, you will have more complains about the next person |
We have lost hope in you NLC You're no longer credible and I don't think you're still serving the interest of the workers. There is God |
I feel your pain. I will advise you ask him for forgiveness and most importantly keep adding value to yourself and don't give up. It's not over. You will still be happy again. |
We await their resolution |
Let's wait and see if they would not be bought again and we won't just hear anything about the strike again. There's too much suffering in the land. I'm not against the subsidy removal but I'm against the fact that there's no plan for the masses and we claim we are saving money for.the country but politicians are spending more. The cost of governance is just too high in Nigeria |
Proper education. Putting round pegs inside round holes also. When you have great minds leading you get results. Everything rises and falls on leadership |
Proper education that works and putting round pegs inside round holes |
I have a lot of projects at hand, even 100m will try ni |
A fraction of your monthly income(not even a whole) should go to your yearly rent. I suggest you have more than one source of income sincerely. Depending only on your salary is dangerous no matter how much you earn. About buying land in a rural area, I don't subscribe to that at all, you must raise your children in a good environment. Fortunately the amount spent in building house in the rural area is the same for urban area. They won't sell a bag of cement to you for 1000 just because you're going to use it in a rural area. I advise people to look for food money even if it means taking a loan to buy land in a hood location. Someone I know bought two plots of land in a particular location for 60m and after two years when he was ready to build a supermarket, he was approached to sell it and offered 150m, is that not good business? He didn't sell it anyways, but imagine he wanted to do business with it, he would have made close to 300% profit. |
It will cost us integrity, transparency and accountability |
