SportsRe: Keshi, Players Blame Enyeama For Liberia Match by STUNTS007: 5:17pm On Sep 10, 2012
Laying blames and pointing accusing fingers will not qualify us for the 2013 ANC in South Africa. The result of the match is shows that there serious room for improvement.

For the first time in a longtime we see a Nigerian coach willing to take the risk and effectively build a team mixed with foreign and local pros.

Building a formidable team takes time considering our talent pool and the different experience levels.

The report mentioned that the same mistake was made againt Malawi and efforts to correct the same mistake failed once again.

Perhaps its time we consider a replacement in some key areas of the team.Nigeria will definitely qualify and i tend to see our gaffer Okechukwu Keshi building a young, dedicated and formidable team.

Lets all continue to proffer our constructive criticism and wish the team the best.
PhonesRe: Airtel Restores Opera Mini by STUNTS007: 6:48pm On Sep 08, 2012
Opera mini is a browser dat bypasses the IM(billing system) on the Airtel network, depending on the port settings on the application.

Many individuals using Opera are surfing free of charge. At present Etisalat is going into partnership with opera to develop two customized variants of the opera application; sports and social that will work perfectly with their billing system and also appeal to large suscriber base that has many young people. Airtel is also trying to have their own customized opera version like MTN does.

Just confirm that your APN is internet.ng.airtel.com.Calling the customer care is a waste of time.

Keep surfing!!!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: When Your Boss Refuses To Pay Your Salary? by STUNTS007: 5:49pm On Sep 04, 2012
Its very easy to think and conclude as an employee. For one second put yourself in the shoes of an employer.Yeah he collected over a million naira from the company account, but that's not enough to conclude. The intricacies related to sole proprietorship implies that at some point in the life of a business, certain critical decisions will have to be taken that might affect the salaries and some other benefits.

The most important thing at such point is communication and trust. For those people advocating for stealing and police action, it depends on the boss as that action can backfire get the person in jail. Dialogue or holding your head high and walking away remains the best course of action.

CrimeRe: Nigerian Sentenced To Death For Trafficking Marijuana In Malaysia by STUNTS007: 10:21am On Aug 27, 2012
In my most candid opinion devoid of any bias or sentiments, I can accurately postulate that some people derive pleasure from bashing others. Nairaland should portray Nigeria and Nigerians in a positive light. Look at what d British are doing with BBC, Iran with press TV, US with CNN and the Arabians with Aljazeera. There is no society that doesn’t face challenges or have its own ills, but washing one’s dirty linen in public is not always an intelligent line of action. Outside the shores of this country people look at Nigeria as an entity and not in fragments.
The moderators of this site seem to have exhausted their intellectual prowess cause the only thing that seems to give them more pages on a thread has to do with ethnic bashing. The moment I see crime on a front page, its definitely going to involve an Igbo person and for sure that will give you some pages cause my Igbo peeps are allergic to bul..sht and crap.
I understand that in the media business, bad news spreads like wildfire, but take a look at a site like Bellanaija or even Lindaikeji’s blog, they always try to portray their information positively, objectively and without ethnic/religious undertones.
The result of most searches about Nigeria on Google will still link you back to Nairaland and when we derive pleasure in bashing ourselves at the slightest provocation, then it’s as if we are shooting ourselves in the legs. If this ugly trend continues, Nairaland will keep losing people who make quality contributions and ultimately lose its traffic. Nairaland needs to improve in quality, search for ingenious ways doing things, think of ways to bridge the ethnic/religious gap and most importantly portray Nigeria and Nigerians (Igbo’s inclusive) in a positive light.
