Donjazet2:This was literally one of the reasons why I was drawn here. E sure me say if e jam pans.ophist or Gerrar.d59 or Sanche.z01, he go call them names and unintelligent too. ![]() |
Eazzii:Old papa youngy. Sorry, sir. Sometimes it be the way you carry yourself. Have you seen some peeps in here being dragged? Ib.ime, for example. And hol'up, my friend. You want to pull the seniority card on when you know Victor the notorious troll? And you knew me from the Romance section where I have no doubt that you and I would have clashed on one of your alts? Ok. Mi o ni so nkankan lmaooooooo. |
Amoto94:Interesting. So is this basically you speaking against capitalism? The capitalism vs. Marxism/socialism argument is one that I've not been able to come to a logical resolution too. I've not exactly followed arguments for or against either, but the little I've seen, still don't quite seem enough. I believe both sides have sensible strong arguments, I just can't say which is superior to which. And then there is Karl predicting that capitalism will end, but here we are. Maybe this can spark another round of discussions. 😁 PS: While I agree with the fact that our society is becoming highly individualistic, and on a consumerism culture, I sincerely wish we wouldn't go about it in a "past good, present" bad outlook. |
Eazzii:Shey I told you to go and sleep? ![]() What are you doing where hadults are talking? ![]() |
Donjazet2:One must wonder the kind of interactions he deem "worthy of his time" and "intelligent" enough then. I would really like to see. The few people I've seen him gotten along with was because they were on the same side. He already holds such aligned opinion, but others? In his mind, e go dey feel like an academic matyr o. 😁 Seeing as it looks like "everyone" is against him or stuff. Meanwhile, if you're unpopular and people are always coming for you, it's not because they are a hateful mob or a bunch of trolls sometime. Just...do self-reflection. Dazoll I wee say. |
Donjazet2:And they will never deactivate. 😂😂😂😂😂 Never. Reminds me of one meo.bizy dude too. Always turning his nose up at everything. He believes all Nairalanders are poor; he believes all Nairalanders are kids. So many other stuff. |
Donjazet2:Whorrrrrttttttttttt? Nahhh, for real, this dude is something. It's like a clockwork reaction. No, a religiously fanatic person like you've described. I mean, he ran away from religion and the shackles they place on minds to the other extreme of intellectual dogma. For real. He's the flip side of most religious persons. And a "black supremacist", so to speak. He's got a TRACK RECORD and a trail of the same attitude with everyone he comes in contact with. If you so badly don't want to get challenged, then you'd better make sure that you're goddamn right all the time. Just "intelligent" without EQ. I see how he constantly dunk on Muslims too. 😂😂😂 Like, is the height of and true measure of intelligence not supposed to be respect and understanding, tolerance? Even if what anybody is doing doesn't make sense to you. And he's telling you to go offline and go tell your Igbo relatives what you're saying on here. If e sure for am too, make e go Northern Nigeria go dey trash-talk Islam too. |
Lmao. He only chooses what he wants to discuss at will. When he doesn't want to, politics and stuff are nonsense, small-minded unworthy discussions that don't warrant his attention. But when he starts talking about it, politics suddenly swells up, like Garri Ijebu, in value, to him. Yeyemotu. |
If you really want to tug this out and see who'll get spent, you for dey quote me direct, so I can easily go through my Mentions. But the coward of a crab feels backed into a corner and is frantically trying to lash onto any modicum of dignity, hoping other comments will cover up his s(n)ide remarks and I'll let it go... 😅 |
Eazzii:Go and sleep joor. |
A001:Tire, how? Who cares if you don't read it? 😂😂😂 For every mention I give you, are you not responding back? So how exactly are you still feeling like shit? B*l*. |
The funniest thing, I've not seen him engage anybody "intelligently". Okay, and I won't even lie that he speaks some truth and make some reasonable points; even if you don't agree with them, you can definitely appreciate the alternate perspectives. But God forbid that you ever quote him to disagree or drop your own alternative opinion, or say, "what if it's like this?" Like, you talk about wanting to engage intelligent people in a stimulating discussion, but of all your arguments in here, are there one or two people that you can point to that you actually had an interesting, civil *conversation* with? When others are doing ABC, you'll be posting Z. And which is totally fine. I mean, you're the philosophical Oas.isX. You will always want to share or post things that YOU deem great and worthy of sharing, while believing you're above the rest of the other things people talk about, but the moment someone quotes one of your captions or takes, it's all blazes. If you deem nobody in here worthy of engaging you, tf you posting in here for then? ![]() It's not balancing. |
A001:You want to go the coward's route? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Oh. Na me you wan dey flex muscle for? When you were pelting insults, did anybody report you? Continue. I don giiran before. It'll definitely not be the first time I'll be wearing the NL's green jail cloth. Between me and you, you're the only one still crying about ME/my comments, and I won't stop sticking out my tongue in your face, lmfao. |
Amigoss:No make I enter you o. ![]() |
A001:You're the only noisemaker here. Infact, you're so much of a noisemaker that you love the sound of your e-voice and prolly always reading your posts back to yourself and smiling like a fart-intoxicated peep. You're doing all these and still tenaciously holding onto the delusion that you don't care or shit. 😅 |
Eazzii:LMFAO. Taleleyi? 🤣🤣 Wa teri si na now. This one that doesn't know more than being a backup commenter sef wants to be weighing in. |
A001:My nigga rest. Oshey, eyan Einstein. Newton Jnr. Karl Marx the Twenty-Sixth. Offspring of Imhotep, grandchild to Ibn Khaldun, god son of Sojourner Truth. Mtcheeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww. Weed and books are both from plants, so I have no doubt you feel high from the materials you're disgesting and leaving you drunk on your own ********* and –. |
Amigoss:Where you see Sean for here now? |
A001:Nor dey whine yourself. 😂 You read enough to see the word "nuance", and if you're lying about your projection of indifference and 'I ain't reading attitude', no one would be able to tell. Secondly, omo Yoruba ni mi. Thirdly, I have, in nowhere called for the abolition of any culture, but when you're an otelectual prick who has his head far up his ass, and see in only black and white, and attackers/defenders, you will think Don and I are saying the same thing. Critical thinking in tatters. Oya, squeeze time from your "no time", and respond from the sidelines in 5...4...3... |
stxrlight:You'd better not be anywhere overseas, though? I don't want to hope so. All of these your theories and defenses and rigmaroling would be pretty useless if you aren't here in Africa and on ground, actually doing activism and getting your hands 'dirty', and pushing so many indigenous ideas, startups, realities. Other than reading textbooks and Wikipedia articles, I hope you're doing something that ACTUALLY contributes to your "Afrocentric" worldview. |
As expected. Right on brand. If you oh-so don't care to read my nonsense, you would not have bothered responding. ![]() Good thing you're not the only one on this thread. So long as you don't keep your insufferableness personal, you will get called out. You can chose to deal with that anyhow you want to or not. What a condescending prick. |
A001:In terms of development and growth, how does talking about the ills of other cultures help us? I want to know. Your house is infested and stinks of dead rats, and people are talking about how to fumigated and renovate, and carry those rats out and a total overhauling of the building, you're talking about how the former occupants brought in the bed bugs or how Papa Chukwudi, your neighbour, also lives in dirt and stank. Okay, so, how does that help you? It's one thing to talk about cultures in theoretical academic perspectives, it's abother thing to talk a out them realistically, which is where I believe Donjazet is coming from. To move forward, how exactly do we need all those "past" things? And mind you, let me use another illustration. When I see people reposting my art or quotes or comments without crediting me, I feel a little sting and move on, because it's my head. The well (of creativity) is in me and I can always come up with something else. Same thing with others things too, like, once something is inbuilt or is natural or is just a given, no matter what is done to hold that thing back or to truncate it, it'll always find a way to live and thrive. Since Africa was the origin of humans and so many cradles of civilization are found here, and we were advancing so mightily great until colonisation happened, please, why have we not been able to replicate and to continue growing in that direction, all these years after colonisation? I mean, with the way Pre-Colonial Africa is being touted, all those centuries ago, I frankly find it hard to reconcile those 'out-of-the-world' mighty inventions and advancement and spiritual enlightenment, to this era of Africans, after colonisation. At the risk of sounding dismissive of 400 years of pain, trauma and all, I say this with no ill-intention: we have been developing for centuries, but those years of slave trade came and suddenly destabilises our track record? I am saying why are we yet to replicate those gigantic strides our African ancestors made? I mean, like, should it not be in "us?" No be follow come? Are we not "those" people? I doubt you'll agree with me, but at some point, it as to be said that it is necessary we do some reflection and think about what we're getting wrong. In and of ourselves. Let's leave the yts alone for a minute. (Not forever sha, since crying and intellectual pomposity and punctuations like these make you tick). Can we simply not become those people like we were centuries ago, so that the yts become envious of us again, but you know, without a colonisation 2.0 happening? |
And then you've been mentioning the "go and tell that to your fellow Ibos offline" line so many times. What exactly is that suppose to mean, from someone who champions an African identity and superiority, AOO1? |
A001:God. You're simply too fixated on your own points that you even even want to consider an alternative perspective at all. Heck, do you know what nuances are? Or do you understand that different things can be truthful at the same time?? You're really coming off as all these hotep peeps. An extreme wokist. It is okay to be woke, and to be culturally aware, but not to the point of whitewashing one's race. How do you dismiss his submission, calling it a tripe that you won't read, and then sticking your own conclusion and judgement and labels on him by all means? If you cannot be bothered to READ his comments, then I don't think you're in any place to misjudge or misquote him, because in one of his responses above, he clearly went into the reasons WHY African cultural practices are barbaric. And because you come for my head, understand that why something is a way is different from ALL things being a way. Do you think there's nothing you can learn from him? Like, you think you've reached the enf of knowledge and you're always right? You cannot dismiss the truth in some of what he's saying and if it's that you disagree with him making it generalised, fine. Definitely not all of African history is barbaric, useless and what not. Again, he clearly punctuated that his CRITIQUE of African cultures is not from a place of "eurocentricism", but you wouldn't know that, since he you didn't read responses, right? If I criticise some things that Yorubas do, does that make me anti-Yoruba and and an Igbo supremacist? I absolutely agree with the bolded part of your comment, and perhaps if it was that idea, air that your submissions come with and direction the whole conversation took, it might have been fruitful. You're making generalisations the same he is, buried in clapbacks of haughtiness, insults and whatnot. All of this is just...uck. Some many times you've said how the conversation is above you and you won't dignify with a response, but you keep circling back, responding from the sides, going back to quote him again. Do you just want to keep posting into an echo chamber? If you believe his points or his quoting you is not worth your time, effort, why haven't you "dead" the back and forth a long time ago? |
Donjazet2:I will never understand this. |
Nezzjnr:How slaves love their chains. Kai. Kai. Kai. 🤣🥲🤣🥲🤣🥲 But whyyyyyy I nor dey ever see Obidients in these situations? Like, why? I have never ever seen anybody pulled a "this you?" on an Obidient, when it comes to money. But we're supposed to believe it's those poor miscreants that'll help with breakthroughs and turning deals if we don't cut them off because of politics. I mean, if he is so useless he's shamelessly begging for giveaway upadan, I have no doubt he has no other benefits to the people around him, lmaoooo. |
Amigoss:I love this. ![]() Headless mob them that wants to set Nigeria on fire. Why are they tweeting untruthful news about our hallowed courts of law? ![]() If na Obidients dey carry fake news upandan like this, OasisX would have spammed the thread with the propaganda, while his party boys would have slithered out to be calling us names. And then capping it off, for good measure(s), with some 'I am not like the other' Obidients coming out to gbam and egg them. Talmabout, 'I am an Obidient, but Obidients are too this, are too that. It's like what these people are saying about Obidients are true. We like to bleh bleh bleh.' But now that BAT merchants have been caught spreading fake news, it's all crickets from the *opposition, and logical thinkers* alike.

They will not keep mouth one place... Do Igbos attack their own or they defend their own? ![]()
|
[quote author=OasisX post=122039738] ![]() [font=serif].. dem don pressure am to delete it. That's the video below; guys' selective application of logic is funny. I thought the general consensus on these streets is that ANYTHING that gets deleted is a lie? So why would you believe other people who tweet something only to delete them are spreading propaganda, but you don't think Chude deleted his apology video because the apology was a lie and probably made under duress? Why do you think Amadi deleting his tweet is a confirmation of it being unverifiable, and not out of pressure, for one reason or the other? |
Be like say the crime is not "criming" well after all. Or he's been deemed not to be a "potential threat to the law and society" anymore. 🥱 Thank God he is out and his case didn't go 'left' as some others' sha.
|
afrodoc2:Oh. Oh. Okay. Because this is the first time politicians have been meeting overseas, ba? Whether covertly or overtly? There were some many times politicians have met in different places abroad all through the campaign season. If you want to look for any defense for their alleged meeting, it should not be this one at all. Like this should be the least of points being made. Have our politicians not be meeting themselves outside of the country for one reason or another in the past? So why should this be any different? |
