Politics / Re: I Weep For My State Ebonyi By Wisdomkosi by Styx01: 11:07am On Jul 09, 2016
Wisdomkosi:
After going through this thread https://www.nairaland.com/3213384/umahi-presents-2016-prado-suvs where the governor of my state donated 2016 Prado suv which cost 15 million Naira each I wept bitterly because I know the poor condition of my state. I am from ebonyi state and am not a shame to tell people my state of origin. I am writing this article with tears in my eyes because even our South East brothers consider or see ebonyians as fools because of ebonyians don't go to school. People like me who are willing to go to school can't because no money but the governor prefer giving out 2016 suv to house members that already have many cars. Please my governor, what happens if you use that money which you used to acquire 2016 prado suvs for scholarship? I went to Lagos of a recent to pay my uncle a visit, believe me I discovered that 95% of the people hawking on the street are ebonyians. Why can't you Mr governor use this medium that street hawking has been banned in Lagos to call those ebonyians back home and relocate them to the newly built international markets which is now a den of criminal activities in the state please?

It is a slap in our face that we ebonyians can't access loan to even farm which we are good at my governor. I still won't forget a day an ebonyi guy met me and discovered that am from ebonyi in Lagos, he asked me to follow him and start doing Street hawking that I will make it. I told him, I can't because am here for a visit and even if I want to follow him my uncle won't let me hawk even though I need money seriously for my school which am still struggling to enter because no money. What's the fate of that guy now that street hawking has been banned in Lagos? Why can't you from that money and give loans to farmers in ebonyi, give scholarship to those willing to further their education, call those ebonyians hawking in different streets of every Nigeria state home and give them that international market to make use and pay a little money to the state government? I am not a politician and I will never put my hand into politic. I am in my 20s but I weep bitterly for this state because there are many talents wasting in this great state. I am writing this article to you my able Governor, Enginer David nweze umahi like a son to a father because am just 20 years old. Ebonyians in diaspora hawking, let's come back home and make a ebonyi a great state. Nothing good comes easy but I believe we will get there one day.

@Wisdomkosi.
Guy wake up and stop lamenting. You feel you did not benefit and as such it's a taboo for honorable members to given official vehicles. Do you expect them to make laws while moving on Okada? Wake up and stop having pauperised mind. Have you contributed anything positive to your so called state other than your selfish lamentation?

Politics / Re: Now There Is Adequate Power Supply In Nigeria And Nobody Is Talking? by Styx01: 7:28am On Jul 07, 2016
Ordinary9jaGuy:
Now everyone in naija is experiencing better delivery of power to their various homes and nobody is commending the efforts of the ministry in charge. But once there is no light for some days to weeks, we are so quick to come online and bad mouth the same ministry without considering the factors that are hindering the delivery of ascribed service.

It is just unfortunate that humanity had descended to the point where out of jealousy we don't do the right thing anymore.

GOD bless Nigeria and her people.
Adequate as captioned? Is it that you don't know meaning of the word 'adequate ' or that you have just decided to continue peddling falsehood like your APC party? You must be a living in abject poverty to be contented with whatever you see in parts of Nigeria as adequate power supply.

Romance / Re: I Lied To Her And Now I Want To Marry Her (please Advise Me) by Styx01: 9:51pm On Jul 05, 2016

I have been a guest on nairaland for 4 years. This is my first topic here. PLEASE DO NOT READ WITHOUT GIVING YOUR COMMENT, THANKS.

In December 2014, I met this beautiful woman while I was enjoying the xmas and new year festivals with my parents in Ibadan. She is schooling here but lives in Ogun state. I never thought we could go far, so I wanted to chop and clean mouth. I was serving at the time and I told her I was serving at Abuja instead of Kwara state. After my NYSC I told her I have settled down in Abuja instead of Oyo state. I have a well-paid job and live comfortably but everything is in Oyo state and not FCT. I didn’t want her to know I am living nearby because I didn’t see a future with her at the time. She didn’t appear to me as a good girl when we met, I thought she was a runs girl but now I know I was wrong, she is even more innocent than me and she gets all I crave for in a lady. Well, I picked her up by the roadside but I didn’t get to sleep with her but we became friends and she still thinks I served, live and work in FCT. We usually see when there is a festivity or holiday like easter, xmas etc. under the pretext that I came to celebrate with my parents. Anyways, I want to propose to her now. I don’t know how to tell her the truth because we are now in love and I do not want to lose her. PLEASE NAIRALANDERS HOW DO I GO ABOUT THIS WITHOUT LOSING HER.
The truth shall set you free....say it alway. Make sure you ask God for forgiveness.
Romance / Re: Should A Lady Cook For The Guy She's Dating? by Styx01: 7:07am On Nov 01, 2014
[quote author=nomabeeee post=27534100]I find this very interesting to discuss here..and I will go straight to the point..I don't think its advicible for a lady to always cook for the man she's dating anytime she's visits him.if you visit him 5 times,u can cook two times or once for him..its important that we ladies should know our place in our man's life..if you are his friend,you act like his friend..if you a re his girlfriend ,you act like one and if you a re his wife..you also act like one..A woman is meant to be explored..if am dating/courting you and during the course of that I cook all my delicasies for you,..what threat wil I give you when we get married?hmmm I can't find myself loitering around a man's kitchen when am not his wife..whats ur opinion ladies?men are also free to air their opinions too...reasonable comments please..thanks[/quot
Your post very is very straight forward as even when BFs don't visit, guys cook! It makes no much sense to visit anytime a lady knows she cannot be in position to give such assistance if her guy requests.
