PoliticsUS-AFRICA SUMMIT: Is It Modern Slavery? by Suarezpatrick(op): 8:44pm On Aug 04, 2014
It is difficult for me to comprehend why African
summit should be held outside the continent of
Africa. Which way forward? If you know the man
who intends to set your house ablaze, why go to
sit in his house to discuss your family matters? Is
the era of slavery actually over? Why must they hold the summit in Washington......
Can't any african country host them...... What a
shame.... This is what Gadafi was kicking against.....
Partial colonisation....

why haven't we seen US-ASIAN SUMMIT OR US-EU SUMMIT?

HealthRe: A Thread For Sickle Cell Warriors And Doctors by Suarezpatrick(op): 1:23pm On Jul 24, 2014
lomaxx: The pain faced by sickle cell patients in unbearable and cannot be understood by anyone other than the sickle cell patient.

Acute pain crisis in sickle cell patients is best controlled by opioids. If paracetamol and NSAIDs doesn't relive you, step it up to tram. You will need a prescription for this. You've gone to hospital to see the doctors?

The best way to control a crisis is to prevent one.

-No alcohol

-No smoking

-Take lots of fluids. ESP in hot weather and when you exercise. You need to stay hydrated all the time. Dehydration will risk a crisis. In fact you need at least 8 -10 glasses a day

-Exercise regularly. But not too much. Some press-ups, some push-ups, or just mild jogging. It keeps the blood flowing and your circulation active. Don't forget to drink plenty water - you will need to step up to 12 glasses now.

-Treat infections as soon as they occur. You notice a common cold, go to your doctor for antibiotic coverage, you don't wanna risk a respiratory tract infection. You have an injury, please antibiotic coverage. The professionals know how to take care of this one. Which is why going to hospital to be known by the specialists is fundamental.

-Don't risk cold weathers and environments. Always carry your sweater around. Stay warm. Don't stay in cold environments- no a.c, no plenty fan. By all means, stay warm. Exposing yourself to cold can trigger a crisis

- Remain focused, positive and live life to the fullest. Cos believe me, that's all you got.
thanks its helps

Glock9: Hey Bro, I am a warrior too. The best thing is to nip crisis in the bud. Once you feel it coming on, take the necessary medication or check yourself into a clinic.

To the glory of God, I only had crisis once in my stay in the University. Tell God you don't want crisis at all. Make sure you eat well and also take a lot of water daily.

I take about 3 litres daily back in school.

Above all, trust in God who has given you life and have faith in Him.

entitlements. The governor is also known to
