Mario Balotelli's girlfriend Fanny Negeusha has appeared to confirm their engagement by posting a picture of herself wearing a dazzling diamond ring on her Instagram page. According to reports, the 22-year-old footballer popped the question with the £100,000 jewel this weekend. Belgian model Fanny later confirmed the news by posting a picture of the diamond, alongside the caption: 'It's official!' Fans were quick to post their congratulations to the couple both in English and French following Fanny's post. Dazzling diamond: Fanny posted a shot of the £100,000 diamond ring on her Instagram page Mario and Fanny, who started dating six months ago, are now said to be putting plans for the lavish ceremony in action. The pair had apparently spoken about getting married before, but the timing hadn't been right. However, now the pair are planning to take a luxury holiday in the near future to discuss details for their big day. The engagement comes after the pair split briefly last month following allegations that Mario had made lewd comments about his model girlfriend. According to reports, the sportsman told his Real Madrid teammates that they could sleep with Fanny if the team beat Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of their Champions League clash. But Fanny was quick to forgive Mario, and the pair were seen enjoying a romantic day out together at an Italian park last week. Mario spoke of his love for Fanny during a magazine interview earlier this year, saying: 'In a short time she found herself in sync with me. I could spend my whole life with someone like this.' The footballer had previously been in a relationship with 25-year old presenter Raffaella Fico who claims her four-month old child Pia is his daughter. Mario reportedly denies the fatherhood claims, and has asked for a paternity test to prove it before he sees the baby. |

JIUQUAN, June 11 (Xinhua) -- President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday crew members of an upcoming manned space mission carry a "space dream" of the Chinese nation and represent the lofty aspirations of the Chinese people to explore space. Xi made the remarks when attending a see-off ceremony for Chinese astronauts of the Shenzhou-10 space mission at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, where he is scheduled to watch the launch of the Shenzhou-10 spacecraft. Xi, also general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), has just wrapped up his trip to Latin America and the United States and returned to China on Sunday. The president came into the astronauts' apartment building on Tuesday afternoon to see off Nie Haisheng, Zhang Xiaoguang and Wang Yaping, who are due to start their journey to space at 5:38 p.m.. "On behalf of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the CMC, as well as people of all ethnic backgrounds across the country, I'm here to see you off," said Xi. Shenzhou-10 will be China's fifth manned space mission. The president described the mission as both glorious and sacred. "You made Chinese people feel proud of ourselves," he said. "You have trained and prepared yourselves carefully and thoroughly, so I am confident in your completing the mission successfully," he added. "I wish you success and look forward to your triumphant return," Xi told the astronauts. After their brief meeting with Xi and other Party and military officials, the astronauts, in white space suits, walked out of the apartment compound, called Wentiange, or "Ask-Heaven Pavilion," at the launch center. They came to a square where they were greeted by a cheerful crowd and then reported to Zhang Youxia, commander-in-chief of the country's manned space program. "Proceed!" Zhang said. The astronauts then took a vehicle and left for the launch pad. The Shenzhou-10 mission is the first application-orientated flight under China's space program since the country initiated the manned space program in 1992. China successfully sent Yang Liwei, the country's first astronaut, into orbit on Shenzhou-5 in 2003 and another seven astronauts, including one female, into space in the next nine years. The three astronauts in the upcoming mission are all CPC members. 48-year-old Major General Nie is commander of this mission, and responsible for the manual docking operation with the Tiangong-1 target orbiter. Zhang Xiaoguang, 47, will assist the commander to accomplish the spacecraft's manual docking with Tiangong-1. Wang, 33, is the second Chinese female astronaut after Liu Yang entered the record books with the Shenzhou-9 mission in June last year. Wang will be responsible for monitoring the conditions of the spacecraft, space experiments, operation of equipment and taking care of fellow crew members. She will also lead a lecture to be broadcast from space to students on Earth. The Shenzhou-10 astronauts will orbit Earth for 15 days, the longest time in the country's manned space program. |

Kim Kardashian wasn't there to celebrate Kanye West's birthday. While pals like Beyonce and Jay-Z were on hand at the party in New York City, Kanye's girlfriend of more than one year was noticeably absent - stuck Los Angeles because she is no longer able to travel by plane ahead of the birth of their first child next month. A source confirmed to Us Weekly: 'Kim isn't allowed to fly'. Other guests at the low-key bash included Nas, Kourtney Kardashian's fiance Scott Disick and Kim's best friend Jonathan Cheban. Kim was stuck in Los Angeles, her growing belly appearing to be getting bigger by the day, to await the birth of their first child due next month. But her thoughts were with Kanye as he rubbed elbows with his party pals. The reality star publicly declared her love for her boyfriend as she wished him happy birthday on Twitter on Saturday. 'Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!' Kim tweeted. The brunette beauty also attached a photo collage, featuring several pictures of the couple looking madly in love together. Kim presented the Mercy hitmaker with a $750,000 Lamborghini for his birthday last year but sources close to Kanye revealed that he warned her not to buy him anything lavish this year. An insider told HollywoodLife.com: 'He doesn't want Kim to think about trying to do something big for him on his birthday when she's pregnant. 'All he really wants for his birthday is peace of mind for him and Kim.' Kanye is due to perform at the Governor's Ball in New York on Sunday.

FRANK LAMPARD (Formentera/Ibiza) New Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that holidays are for losers, but his star midfielder has been grinning like a winner while on holiday in the Balearics with fiancee Christine Bleakley. After a day sunning themselves on a luxury yacht off the island of Formentera, the couple headed over to nearby Ibiza for a spot of dinner. Lampard, Chelsea's all-time top goalscorer, and Bleakley are holidaying with the Norther Irish TV star's sister Nicola.
|
NEWCASTLE (Las Vegas) What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. With that in mind, let's hope these garish trunks stay there, too. Newcastle narrowly avoided relegation from the Premier League after a disappointing campaign. And judging by this holiday snap it appears their form away from the pitch has carried over to the off-season, with James Perch, Shola Ameobi and Dan Gosling among the worst offenders.
|
MARIO GOTZE (IBIZA) Bayern Munich's latest recruit Mario Gotze seemed to be having a rear-ly good time as he and his model girlfriend lapped up the sun in Ibiza. Ann-Kathrin Vida, who appeared to have forgotten her beau's transfer to Munich after sporting Borrusia Dortmund yellow on the Mediterranean waters, wasn't alone after she was joined by two of her pals. Will Gotze get to take home the match ball for that?

John Terry Chelsea captain John Terry has got a smaller one than Roman Abramovich. As these pictures show, Terry's yacht barely pales into insignificance to Abramovich's £400million piece of kit. Terry, holidaying in Portugal and NOT adorning his full Chelsea strip, was joined by wife Toni in the £430,000 boat said to be borrowed from a friend. But earning somewhere in the region of £150k a week, it shouldn't take the 32-year-old too long to save up for one he can lay claim to being his own.

After a long and hard season, you can't deny Fernando Torres deserves a holiday. Just days after returning from Chelsea's American tour, the 29-year-old striker has jetted off to the Balearic island of Ibiza for a family break.

“If Jesus had come today instead of 2,000 years ago, Christian pastors and bishops would also have killed him.” A man travelling from Jerusalem to Jericho was attacked by armed-robbers, stripped of his belongings and left lying on the road half- dead. God’s providence ensured that first a priest, and then a Levite, passed by. But instead of helping the dying man; both of them quickly moved to the other side and went away… Finally, a Samaritan came along. Unlike the priest and the Levite, he had compassion on the injured man, bound up his wounds, took him to the hospital and paid for his medical expenses. The Good Samaritan Jesus’ story of the Good Samaritan is very deliberate. It is incredible how, as Christians, we still fail to understand its full implications. The first mistake we make is in the identity of the Good Samaritan. When we situate the story in the contemporary setting (as we should with all scripture), we assume that the Good Samaritan is a Christian. However, Jesus deliberately excludes that possibility by providing two characters clearly representative of the Christians of today. The priest is easily identifiable as today’s pastor, while the Levite is easily today’s Christian layman. Who then is the Good Samaritan? Let me repeat this for emphasis: the Good Samaritan cannot be a Christian. The Christian is already adequately represented. The Good Samaritan is Jesus himself. Jesus’ story eloquently sets forth the goodness and kindness of Christ our Saviour towards sinful, miserable and defenceless humanity. The thief came to steal, kill and destroy, but Christ came to give life and to give it abundantly. (John 10:10). But there is the rub. If Jesus is the Good Samaritan then Jesus is not a Jew; for Samaritans were not accepted as Jews. If Jesus is the Good Samaritan, then Jesus is a Samaritan. If Jesus is not a Jew but a Samaritan, then Jesus cannot be a Christian, for it is the Jew who represents the Christian of today. Jesus killers By the time some Jews observed Jesus, they assumed he was not a Jew. In the first place, he refused to be a disciple of Moses but claimed instead to have come to fulfil the law. He did not obey the letter of Jewish laws but claimed to comply with its spirit. He insisted pharisaic religious tradition was old wine which could not be put into the new bottles he provided for the new wine of the New Testament. (Matthew9:17). He prefaced a lot of his sermons with the statement: “You have heard that it was said to those of old… but I say.” (Matthew 5:27-28). Therefore, some Jews insisted Jesus was not Jewish. As a matter of fact, their position was that he was a closet Samaritan: “Then the Jews answered and said to him, “Do we not say rightly that you are a Samaritan and have a demon?” Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honour my Father, and you dishonour me.” (John 8:48-49). Note that Jesus did not contest the charge that he was a Samaritan. But he took great exception to the allegation that he had a demon. But if Jesus identified with the Samaritans and not with the Jews, then it becomes clear he would not identify with most of the Christians of today. In fact, let me be so bold as to say that if Jesus were in the flesh today he would not be a Christian. If Jesus had come today instead of 2,000 years ago, Christian pastors and bishops would also have killed him. Like he did our forefathers, Jesus would also have exposed our ungodliness to public ridicule. Religious irrelevancies So if Jesus would not have been a Christian, what would he have been? He would have simply been Jesus without any specific religious affiliation. Today, Jesus has been replaced by theology, but the real Jesus was not religious. Jesus established no religious institution when he was on earth. Indeed, if Jesus were to show up physically on earth today, most Christians would not recognise him even as the Jews did not. If he came as a woman, we would not recognise him. If he smoked cigarettes, we would not recognise him. If he drank whisky, we would not recognise him. If he wore earrings and a nose ring, we would not recognise him. If he spoke Pidgin English, we would not recognise him. Since he did not wear trousers, we would be contemptuous of him. We would disqualify him by religious irrelevancies instead of identifying him by his fruits. When Jesus asked the lawyer to identify the neighbour of the man who fell among thieves, the man wisely did not say it was the Samaritan. If he had said that, he would have been wrong. Instead, he correctly defined him by his fruit. He said: “He who showed mercy on him.” He who showed mercy on him could be anybody, Christian or non-Christian, as long as he believed in Jesus and produced the fruits of his righteousness. Merciless Christians What then does the story of the Good Samaritan mean if, indeed, the priest and the Levite represent today’s Christians? It means that, prophetically, it is the Christians of today who have no mercy. We despise unbelievers, certain they are going to hell. We speak disparagingly of them. We condemn sinners on grounds they are ungodly. We stone them because they are caught in adultery. We fail to appreciate that they are hapless travellers on the road of life who have been attacked by spiritual armed-robbers and left for dead. We conveniently forget that we used to be in the same position until we were rescued by the grace of God. Therefore, “God is not a Christian,” declared Reverend Desmond Tutu. “We are supposed to proclaim the God of love, but we have been guilty as Christians of sowing hatred and suspicion; we commend the one whom we call the Prince of Peace, and yet as Christians we have fought more wars than we care to remember. We have claimed to be a fellowship of compassion and caring and sharing, but as Christians we often sanctify sociopolitical systems that belie this, where the rich grow ever richer and the poor grow ever poorer.” One thing is certain. Both the offending priest and the Levite must have had “compelling” reasons for not attending to the man dying on the roadside. They probably could not stop because they were in a hurry to attend a bible study. The priest decided that the best thing to do was to pray for the man when he got to church. The Levite was hurrying to get to a meeting of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and could not afford to be late. Jesus’ parable “kills” the self-righteous believer who thinks he is justified by calling himself a Christian and by going regularly to church. He alerts us to the danger of assuming we are heaven-bound because of our observance of certain religious rites. True Christianity is not legalistic. The love of our neighbour is the emblem of our being Christ’s disciples. “Dear friends, let us practice loving each other, for love comes from God and those who are loving and kind show that they are the children of God.” (1 John 4:7). By Femi Aribisala he is the fellowship coordinator of Healing Wings. Healing Wings is a pentecostal Christian fellowship which meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (e-mail: faribisala@yahoo.com) |

Seyilome: Good move by him. Messi would be happy to see Neymeryep good move, hoping he wouldn't be another brazil flop, lyk denilson, pato, robinho, ...... Or another barca flop, lyk ibrahamovic, affelay, sanchez, giovani dos santos ....... Best of Luck tho. |
tomakint: Good buy and a good move! But I worry more for my club's clueless and irritating players like; Sanchez, Fabregas, Pique, Batra wondering when they are going to be offloaded and also shop for efficient defenders!batra is too young to be judged. Fabregas isn't doing too bad. I totally agree with you that sanchez should be ofloaded. In conclusion barca don't need to ofload defenders, dey need to buy to fortify dere defence |
Another promise!!!

It was a long, dramatic ride but finally it's over, for real this time, according to the Catalan press. Santos accepted bids from both Real Madrid and Barcelona for the Brazilian star, but Neymar chose the Catalans. One of the most confusing, dramatic, and at times, irritatingly drawn-out transfer sagas comes to a close. While some reports can give you a minute-by-minute breakdown if you are obsessive and/or masochistic enough to read through them, we will stick with the bigger picture here. Despite some astronomical prices being thrown around (some suggested his fee would be around 140 million), Barcelona had to pay "only" 25 million euro. Neymar had just months left on his current contract and would have possibly gone on a free transfer, so Santos had to pull the trigger, even at a reduced price. Real Madrid offered substantially bigger wages (around 11m per year compared to around 7m), and submitted a higher transfer bid, but in the end, it seems personal considerations were more important for Neymar. Negotiations increased in intensity as the day went on, and it seems only a few minor details have to be hashed out. However, there is some level of doubt as we've heard it was all done and dusted before only for that to obviously not be the case. Assuming he really is coming, the Brazilian will have to deal with an adjustment period, as he will have to go from the biggest star in the country to not even the biggest in the city. He will also have to deal with making a transition into a higher level league, while simultaneously adjusting to life in a totally different country. Language will be a barrier (although Spanish and Catalan are not too far removed from Portuguese), as will a change in culture (thoughAdriano and Dani Alves at minimum should guide him). Expectations are still high and why wouldn't they be? Neymar is a huge talent. It may turn out to be a brilliant move, or as club legend Johann Cruyff has warned, it could be a flop. Much will be written about it all, and again, why not? People are extremely intrigued because of the potential of either a huge spectacle and a huge train wreck. For the moment, all we can do is wish Neymar the best... and hope we can now move on to other stories http://www.barcablaugranes.com/2013/5/25/4364230/report-neymar-finally-agrees-to-fc-barcelona-transfer-from-santos |
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has plans for five big summer signings. Marca says Perez already has his shopping list organised and wants to kickoff transfer business immediately to strengthen his hand ahead of the club's presidential election. Tottenham star Gareth Bale is his No1 target, with Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski also high on his shopping list. Real expect to sign permanently on-loan Sao Paulo midfielder Casemiro and buy back Dani Carvajal from Bayer Leverkusen. Malaga winger Isco is also wanted by Perez, though he will face stiff competition from Manchester City. |
BREAKING NEWS: The Serie A giants inter milan have parted company with their young coach after a disappointing ninth place finish in a season that fell well below expectations Inter have sacked coach Andrea Stramaccioni after just 14 months in charge. |
BREAKING NEWS: Porto duo Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez are joining Monaco in a transfer deal worth €70 million in the summer. The French club confirmed the two acquisitions on Friday though did not reveal the cost of either player, however, due to the Portuguese side being on the stock market, the cost of the duo has been unearthed. Moutinho, who was linked with a January move to Tottenham, has cost the newly promoted Ligue 1 outfit €25m, while Colombian forward Rodriguez has fetched an enormous €45m for the Primeira Division champions. |
The transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other countries into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. The transfer window will go a long way to determine the season of any club. Maybe Chelsea and Spurs would have done better this season with the signature of a striker at the last transfer window Without the sale of van persie and Alex song, arsenal would av performed better. Man city flatters largely due to there poor transfer dealings (sinclair, maicon, Rodwell, ...) Van persie is one of the reasons man utd won the league comfortably In conclusion The transfer window will determine the fate of most clubs in the coming season. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger needs to get it right in the transfer window this summer, after eight years without silverware. Swansea’s Ashley Williams and Valencia’s Adil Rami could come in to shore up the team’s defence. Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic and West Ham’s Mohamed Diame are other likely transfers Chelsea legend Jose Mourinho is expected to return to the club as manager to replace Rafael Benitez, after making it clear he wants to leave current club Real Madrid. The Portuguese tactician is expected to be given a massive £100million from owner Roman Abramovich to spend on building a title- winning team. The obvious problems are upfront, as Fernando Torres has failed to live up to expectations since signing from Liverpool and may finally be sold. Liverpool Brendan Rodgers is expected to be given a lot of money to spend this summer as he hopes to help the club break back into the top four and maybe even sustain a genuine title challenge. Manchester City After a poor showing in their attempt to retain the Premier League title this season, as well as a shock defeat in the FA Cup final, Roberto Mancini has been sacked and all signs point to Malaga’s Manuel Pellegrini coming in to replace him. The new manager is likely to bring new players as the club’s wealthy owners will want to bring in better players to try and win back the title from rivals Manchester United. Manchester United United will have to be busy this summer, as their big-spending rivals City will surely be doing everything in their financial power to build a team to win back the Premier League title. United were arguably unconvincing in some areas of their pitch despite their title win this season, with the team often looking over-reliant on Dutch striker Robin van Persie to score all the goals. Questions Will barcelona rely on Martin Montoya and batra to solve their defensive woes?? Will arsenal spend big this transfer window? Will the exodus of players from borrosia dortmond affect them? Will chelsea be able to solve their strikers problem? Will gaurdiola change the pattern of bayern munich? Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce Frank Lampard has signed a one year extension to his contract. Already the third- highest appearance- maker in the club's history, next season will be the vice-captain's 13th at Stamford Bridge. Ron Gourlay , Chelsea FC Chief Executive, said: 'Frank has been an important player for Chelsea Football Club for a long time and has played a significant part in the club's success. 'We have been talking to him since the end of last year and our discussions have been entirely positive throughout. We are delighted we are now announcing an extension to his contract which will keep him at the club until 2014.' Lampard added: 'I'm absolutely delighted. Everybody knows I always maintained the dream was to stay at Chelsea. We've been talking for ages and even though it went on for quite a period it was always amicable. 'I want to thank Mr Abramovich for everything he's done in making the dream a reality. I love this club, the staff, the players and especially the supporters, who have treated me fantastically since the day I arrived. 'The thought of helping the club to more success in the forthcoming years is all I ever wanted. I couldn't be happier.' Lampard became the club's record goalscorer amid wonderful scenes at Villa Park last Saturday when he surpassed Bobby Tambling 's 202 goals, an incredible feat for a midfielder. Since signing from West Ham United in 2001, Lampard has won the Champions League, the Premier League title on three occasions, the FA Cup four times, the League Cup twice and last night in Amsterdam he lifted the Europa League trophy. He was voted the Chelsea Player of the Year in 2004, 2005 and 2009 and among many other individual accolades he has been the Football Writers' Footballer of the Year and runner-up for both the FIFA World Player of the Year and European Ballon d'Or. The 34-year-old is also our top FA Cup and league scorer in top-flight football. In April he became only the third person to play 600 games for the club. He has made 560 starts and 47 substitute appearances. http://m.chelseafc.com/news-display/LAMPARD-SIGNS/3180951 |
What did it take CAF to award Ivorien Yaya Toure, a defender and an on and off midfielder the CAF African football best player in 2012? Because he inspired Man City to win the FA cup and PremierLeague titles respectively. As well as scoring most vital goals to ensure that success. He has never won any honour for his country, the Ivory Coast. What did it take Fifa to award Fabio Canavaro, a defender, the World football best player in 2006? Because he captained Italy to win the Fifa world cup that year. He was not known for scoring vital goals, both for club and country. As far as i know, he only scored just 2 goals for his country in his entire caree and 16 for clubs. What will it take CAF to award John Mikel Obi, a midfielder, the African football best player for 2013? Although, Mikel was not a prolific goal scorer, but his efforts has inspired his club to win almost everything there is to be won in football. He also inspired his country to win the African cup after 14 years, surpassing the achievements of those of his contemporaries! This year, there will be no more excuse by CAF for not recognizing the efforts of this young man, who is threatning to become Nigeria's most capped player, by honouring him with this prestigeous award. If they fails to do it, it is time we all march to CAF's headquarters with protest placards and demand for redress, then total re-orgnization of that body. John Mikel Obi deserves to be African best for 2013! Okey Igbokwe If not Mikel Obi, then Who?? |

Dagrin released two albums Gimme an example of an artist dat comparim has help, comparism will eventually consume u. Dagrin is very good, but wudnt av stopped Olamide from shinning. M I. didn't stop Ice prince, didn't stop Vector . . . . Tuface didn't stop Psquare didn't stop Wizkid . . . . The sky is big enough 4 evry1 to shine, Olamide is meant to shine, dats y he is shining |
Akshow: Make una no carry mouth go mourinho at all make e for no cause quarrel. Bluezz rulez. Lol, Never say never. Remember Pep gaurdiola diss chelsea nd city to join Bayern |
On Mark Hughes: It can be difficult to pinpoint who would make it as a manager. For instance, nobody here thought Mark Hughes would become a manager, never in a million years, and we all thought Bryan Robson was a certainty to be a top manager. On referee Alan Wiley: The pace of the game demanded a referee who was fit. It is an indictment of our game. You see referees abroad who are as fit as butcher’s dogs. We have some who are fit. He wasn’t fit. He was taking 30 seconds to book a player. He was needing a rest. It was ridiculous. On Jose Mourinho: He was certainly full of it, calling me boss and big man when we had our post-match drink after the first leg. But it would help if his greetings were accompanied by a decent glass of wine. What he gave me was paint-stripper. On Rafael Benitez and his 'facts': I think he was an angry man. He must have been disturbed for some reason. I think you have got to cut through the venom of it and hopefully he'll reflect and understand what he said was absolutely ridiculous On whether Liverpool could end almost 20- year wait for top flight glory in 2007 You must be joking. Do I look as if I'm a masochist ready to cut myself? How does relegation sound instead? On winning the Champions League in 1999: I can't believe it. I can't believe it. Football. Bloody hell. On Alan Hansen questioning his future in 2002: My greatest challenge is not what's happening at the moment, my greatest challenge was knocking Liverpool right off their f****** perch. And you can print that. On the 2002/03 end of season title race: It's getting tickly now - squeaky-bum time, I call it. On Paul Ince I used to have a saying that when a player is at his peak, he feels as though he can climb Everest in his slippers. That’s what he was like. On Ryan Giggs I remember the first time I saw him. He was 13 and just floated over the ground like a cocker spaniel chasing a piece of silver paper in the wind On Gary Neville: If he was an inch taller he'd be the best centre half in Britain. His father is 6ft 2in - I'd check the milkman. On the Old Trafford faithful: The crowd were dead. It was like a funeral out there. On Arsene Wenger, shortly after his appointment as Arsenal manager in 1996 'He's a novice—he should keep his opinions to Japanese football.' More harsh words for the Frenchman in 1997 'Oh dearie me, the FA are going to be delighted with that!' He can manage anywhere, absolutely. I'm not going to put any forecasts on what is going to happen at this club. I won't last forever, but Jose can manage anywhere, there is no question about that.' On the possibility of Mourinho succeeding him at Old Trafford 'It is totally out of the question. There is no way we would sell him, or any of our best players.' In April 2003, two months before selling David Beckham to Real Madrid ..
