daveP: He isnt in charge of this draft! This should be obvious to all of us on here by now!!
That Onuachu brouhaha yesternight is another proof to that effect. I think the Onuachu scenario was a mistake from the NFF handler because his name were in the lists released by other sources |

That Onuachu brouhaha yesternight is another proof to that effect. Even if he isn't in charge of the draft, he should be in charge of the number of players in every department, penning down three natural midfielders in a squad of 23-31 should be ringing alarm bells from the very first start! |

Damioduso1: we lack a creative midfielder in this current super eagles set up . Base on the list I only see Three recognize midfielder. I pray those midfielder will not have injury cos we don't have adequate replace from them. We have been relying on three midfielders for a year now, it seems like we have no other option |

12large1: It's almost as if they have bribed journalists because no one is asking questions. People already forgot that Rohr Lied to us about Musa in the last game. He said that Musa was invited only for motivation purpose and wouldn't play no part in games vs Lesotho/Benin yet, Musa played few minutes vs Lesotho. The man has done a relatively good Job considering how bad we were when he inherited us but if he looks like he can't go further. My only fear is that if we terminate Rohr, we don't have the finances to hire a world class coach and might just return back to local Coaches which might might the team Regress. From frying pan to Fire. I heard Rohr salary is owed in arrears for 6 months. Please, tell me any world class coach that can endure such Nonsense Yeah this is the question I ask myself, has nobody asked him about the scarcity of midfielders in his team lists, even the NFF handler notices it and puts Ajayi and Shehu as midfielders to limit the outroar, this is honestly absurd About Musa, there is no use asking about it, we know the endgame the invites will not stop until he reaches his 100 caps, we just have to live with it |

12large1: I don't know why our coaches keep selecting an imbalance squad. How do one select 13 forwards/wingers and only 4 Midfielders when games are controlled and won In midfield. Where are the technical advisors, assistant coaches and scouts input in Rohr imbalanced squad? Although, I think the squad is Good enough to defeat cameroun, my doubt stems when we're selected to play against a much tougher opposition in Africa i.e (Algeria, Senegal) or worldwide (Brazil, Argentina). Coaches, please when selecting a 23 man squad, make sure it is a balanced Squad like 3,7,7, 6 or 3,7,6,7 not 8 4 8. Personally, it would had been better If our coach had selected more Midfielders like Nwakali, Onyeka and help them grow than bombarding the team with forwards. Do Rohr plan to utilize a 424 formation? Please, no one should be deceived if we defeat cameroun with this inbalanced Squad and journalists must ask Rohr Valuable Questions regarding selecting imbalanced squad and clubless players.
Nigeria should respect it's legend but super eagles isn't a place to rehabilitate Out of Form players The thing is baffling, to think that Rohr has drawn up to eight consecutive lists with a scarcity of midfielders shows there's something fundamentally wrong with him |

Napoleon55: U r only focusing on goals alone, Look at the legends of the game u were comparing Haaland with,Zidan,Ronaldo 9, at least we've seen what Ronaldo 9 did with his goals at Haaland's age,and what Zidan has achieved. What has Haaland achieved with his many goals. No one is saying he can't achieve but 4 now stop mentioning those legends with him until he does what those greats did with their goals.
I doubt Rashidi ever scored 33 goals in a single season, but I cannot start comparing Onuachu to Rashidi just because he outscored Rashidi in a single season. He need to do it consistently for years Everybody has where he excels, Haaland is a prolific goalscorer and he does a damn good job at it, Are you expecting him to win a Champions league at Dortmund? When he inevitably goes to a big club the trophies will come and the ballon d'or shouts will start, mind you I'm not comparing him to those legends, I'm just saying that at 20 he has broken records they held at their prime or never managed to reach, If Lewandowski can win Ballon d'or Haaland can too |

Napoleon55: U not going to see another Messi, Ronaldo 7, Ronaldo 9, Pele, Maradona, Ronaldinho, Zidan. and our own Okocha.
These players r uniquely extraordinary in their own different ways, Almost none of them r similar in their style of play. Yet everytime u would hear people saying next Messi, Next Ronaldo, next this next that, none of the players eventually would live up to d hype.
We will witness other sets of uniquely extraordinary players, but not for the next two decades atleast, when Messi and Ronaldo r long retired.
Would u say that Haaland and Mbape will surpass the height a player like Thienry Henry reached. For me,attaining Henry's level would b the highest they can reach. These are Messi /Ronaldo numbers and the guy is barely 20, He has already outscored greats like Ronaldo, Zidane and Adriano in the Champions league

Omanambala: Explain creativity in a footbal context not copying and quoting dictionary verbatim.
How does an imaginative react when with a ball ? He plays a pass that opens defence. He holds the ball to get a better vision of position of his teammates and release the ball.
I am done here! You are not done bro A creative player creates chances e.g De Bruyne, A midfield controller keeps the ball and recycles possession e.g Jorginho, You cannot call a player who you described as playing the right passes, holding ball when the need arises. a creative player. |
