Barryseal: Starting 100% foreign born players at the defence was a costly mistake. You can take it to the bank. Our defence did not cost us that day find another thing to talk |

codemaniacs: S.E already has 6-7 competent midfielders.
Nwakwali
Onyeka Iwobi Ndidi
Tijani
Bonke
Onyedika
Alhassan Yusuf Only Ndidi, Aribo and to an extent Iwobi are competent enough on an international level the rest are just there |

TheGoodJoe: Congratulations to the NFF men who have made it a duty to destroy our football. You have turned our football to a branch of your politics. Where you write names of your boys that they must play.
I hope you are happy now. Blame Eguavoen not the NFF they gave him every tool to succeed |

semid4lyfe: Hmm, I'm not sold on the central defence.
Ekong and Balogun are not comfortable with ball at feet, cannot play out from the back, tend to boot the ball forward, yield possession when pressed and are also prone to errors.
I hope the team plays well today and gets the W but I'm as nervous as a cat in a dog pound. One would think as a moderator of this thread you have the littlest knowledge about sports |

Komekn looking for stats komekn: Everyone who so far says Uzoho is better has not said how and or supported it with statistics and rational measurement of attributes.
All I've heard here is emotive dislike, prejudice and bias. You included. Komekn when presented with stats komekn: You can drop as many contrived stats as you like.
One game doesn't define a player.
If Uzoho was so good he would not be in the backwaters of Europe going nowhere.
On the other hand Okoye is on an upward trajectory.
You cannot exclude cup football and league for player assesment. The only reason Victor O is in the SE is his club and league form. His first game in the SE at AFCON 2019 was absolutely woeful.
But he is essentially the first choice striker even pushing out the top scorer in the AFCON 2019 Ighalo.
You are putting forward a double standard. |
