iammo:that same anticedence is what i personally feel is driving those supporting Obi. Tinubu's anticedents as we generally know follow the systemic order which majority already know and besides that, there is the question of his capability as regards health and age. Obi is found to be genuinely clean. He goverened anambra for eight years without any pension whatsoever. Tinubu on the other, among other things is managing the entire tax sector of lagos state with other things running is still getting multiple allowances as pension from lagos state with all his acquisitions. |
May be things are okay for u but dont mock or laugh at those things are not okay for. When u see some supporting Peter Obi, dont feel they are doing that because of tribe or to spite a particular people. They are only doing that because that lies their final hope of survival. |
A graduate and a family man earning 47k monthly. How can one cope with such. NLC themselves dont even care about those civil servants at the state level. Why cant the salaries of federal and state civil service be harmonised? |
You see so many of these people, tens of thousands of them in party conventions in smart attires looking plumb. Some of them, dont have any work they do but just been a political party member and causing confusions here and there in the name of politics. Cutting down government spending should start by ending political parties in nigeria because they dont contribute to any development but parasitic. Nigeria as a poor country should rather run on independent candidacy |
FuglyGurl:while he goes behind the scene doing the evil work he is there to do |
budaatum:it really doesnt seem that one day will ever come until something drastic happens. We the youth have failed and until we realise we have really failed ourselves and our dependants may be then we may begin to seek those answers to our freedom |
budaatum:The truth remains there are particular set of people who run this country for their own selfish purposes. These set of people may not care about other court processes and cases. After all Obi won in the governorship tribunal and so do other individuals in different court cases. The cabals as it were are not interested or affected in these other court cases but the presidency. As long as they decide what goes on in the presidency, other issues are that trivial to them |
The biggest tool and the final card the leadership have continued uaing is dividing the youths along ethnic lines. That tool is their last card when other cards fail and that has never failed them. However, the youths can still unite to fight this system that have continued to waste the lives of tens of thousands of Nigerian youths on yearly basis. The youths really can stop this impunities |
It simply means Nigeria is irredeemable.. I haven't really been following the presidential tribunal proceedings. The little insight I get are more or less coming from nairaland and other online fora. Those little insight from the tribunal don't seem as if there will ever be any difference in the eventual outcome. The judges as we know are already offered the world alongside threats should they decline such offers and the rape of our beloved country continues. We are simply on a merry go round where the next administration comes with tightened seat belt and the subsequent one come loosening it a bit and income another that will tighten it the more and that has become our fate.sadly. |
OldBeer:let justice be served, whether it is for Tinubu or Obi. How long shall we continue in all these criminalities, illegalities, injustice which have defined our everyday engagements in the country will call our own. I dont think we can ever move forward with that. It is me and u that bear the brunt regardless of ethnic or religious affiliations |
In the ongoing presidential tribunal, Justice should take its full course. Besides Emefiele, how many more would be scape-goated because 99% of buhari's appointees were stupendously corrupt. I see this Emefiele arrest as skit or he is just going to be one of the few scape-goats just like Dasuki. |
Ofunaofu:Nigeria obviously has capacity to do that because when u convert it into dollars, u find out that's the rate paid by other African countries who are far poorer than Nigeria. However the leadership we ve had and the current one will roar into laughter at this |
Success1981:Yoruba and Igbo youths should sit up |
I believe there is really no cold war between these two important ethnic groups. What we have is the creation of the political class whose generation have held unto power for 40-50 decades. In their bid to continue their tight hold on power, they sustained the illusion of a coldwar between these two ethnic groups gifted with the requisite knowledge and resourcefulness to pilot the affairs of the society. It's high time the baton of leadership is handed to the next generation but the old generation wouldn't release their hold on power rather, they have continued to divide and rule the next generation of leadership. |
I 've stated it before, what does Dangote apply or use to control federal government since 1999 till date. Obasanjo gave him full monopoly of the cement industry. Every business he has interest in will be cleared for him to manipulate and control. Just because he just finished his refinery, the government has quickly hiked the price of fuel in the name of non existing fuel subsidy just for Dangote to continue ripping Nigerians in the most devilish and demonic ways |
Ofunaofu:There is no fuel subsidy anywhere. it's the deceit the leadership have continued to cook up in their eternal rape of the country |
simpleseyi:my dear brother e be like u na money man |
The truth is we all continue to feel the crunch no matter the divide we are.. Nigerians witnessed hell in the last 8yrs and the time people are hoping for a little respite more burdens were activate Inflation is on 22percent rise and instead of the new government to focus on how to tackle that, they rather blatantly worsened it |
hylyne:pls brother no break my head. Just state where u reside |
Nigerians are some of the most interesting people on earth. Forget how our various leadership have taken turns to rape and endlessly run the country aground. If u meet most Nigerian professionals outside the shores of Naija, u will really feel tearful pride of being a Nigerian. Beautiful foreign-based Nigerians if u wouldn't mind because we have so many of them here with us. Kindly state ur name and the country u reside. I pray for the right leadership that will bring these beautiful people back home for Nigeria to benefit from their enormous wealth of knowledge God bless Nigeria. |
Whether he is using strong voodoo on the various leaderships or they are part of the business. Nigeria's democracy has been so far created for Dangote because I remembered in 1999 when Obasanjo banned importation of cement and gave Dangote full monopoly of cement distribution and this is how subsequent administrations have been working for him aside Yaradua. Just 2/3 days in the opening of Dangote refinery and this is what we get. |
orisa37:how is what we are witnessing today going to benefit Nigerians? The immediate past government claimed they would use the subsidy money in other areas, which analysts had asked, which other areas. They said they would share the money among poor Nigerians when me and u know the ones they did through the so Called cash transfer ended up in the pockets of madam Sadiya Umar, former humanitarian minister and her gang of thieves. |
I believe none. It's only an irresponsible government that starts its tenure by inflicting such suffering on the already over-burdened Nigerian masses. The people are suffocating in 22percent inflation rise at the moment, worst in the history if the country and the succour the government could get the people is to heap more and bigger budden on the first day of taking iver |
I feel the youth in particular are the ones failing this country |
Good number of our youths are dying out there in the deserts trying to get to a better country when we have our own country hugely blessed |
solmusdesigns:I am not begrudging u voting ur choice which I want to believe u did that out of ur own volition. All I'm praying is we do away with tribalism which is hurting our people more than any other thing |
What we are facing today is skyrocketed price of the premium spirit due to the sudden removal of subsidy. How can u in the first day in office suddenly do that without studying that as a new government and fashion out various plans of ameliorating the sufferings and hardships that will unavoidably bring. |
These people and their families are already made for life. It is me and you - Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and other ethnicities in the country that will feel whatever the authority decides to throw at us. I campaigned and voted for Obi not because Tinubu didn't have his records as a former governor, I supported Obi because I feel he also had his record but most importantly he is energetic enough I just pray that God takes absolute control. All that is important to me is, let justice be served at the presidential tribunal.. Nigerians have suffered a lot these past eight years and if we should have another government that will steer the same route as the immediate past one, I wouldn't know how Nigerians would cope |
