Updates from Oyo state camp. I was able to complete my reg yesterday, all thanks to queue jumping as gentle boy no do am.

Everything is going on fine but the drills na die although they said it's just a tip of the iceberg. The soldiers are kinda friendly these first two days, especially those in my platoon (4)...

The foods...hmmm, at least, dem try sha. Yam and sauce as breakfast today, amala and ogbono as lunch( not surprised tho, na Oyo food be that), and jollof rice as dinner!

Yeah, same happened to a friend of mine. Her mom had to DHL her notification of result all the way. But I don't understand why they need to see what we graduated with CUL and the Greencard is enough proof that we're qualified to serve.

Hmmm...but I don't understand either why they should forget such considering it as one of the vital documents needed for registration at the camp and we've had series of 'camp needs' flying around on d social media so tey we don tire to dey see dem gan.

Well I need not bore you with what NYSC is and how every Nigerian youth whom had passed through an higher institution of learning always look forward to it,
So I was posted to Ekiti state,before I continue one thing is I dont like long journeys,so been posted to a South-Western state was a relieve not as if I really the state as such,so on Wednesday I did my last minutes shopping,on Thursday morning I took off,on getting to the park at Oshodi I thought am going to meet quite a handful corp members posted to Ekiti but I was wrong,we were only two in the bus and got to know when we got to Ado,it was a bumpy ride down to Ekiti,no thanks to the bad roads well am aware of this though cos this is actually my third time in Ekiti
MY CAMP EXPERIENCE
Nysc orientation camp is located in Ise,Emure local government,
On getting to the gate we were checked in by some policemen and proceeded to pick our tally number for camp registration,the thing is Ekiti camp is just there...yes,I got my bed and went back to the registration point,I didnt get to finish it until yesterday evening ,the people involved are few,the process is somehow which make all the whole thing slow,stressful and tiring,
So was just sitting down this morning and a lady walked up to me and said,you are from Onitsha right was like🤗,naso I touched my head but my head no flat na😄 how I come take resemble my brothers from the East,the next one was a guy an Hausa,this guy just walked up to me and start speaking hausa was like😒 oga calm down you are neither in Kano or Sokoto me sef come confuse o,
On ladies here still observing,gracelanders in Ekiti quote me

Waoh! Well done bro. I'm from Ekiti state and I've been to the orientation camp severally. It should be one of the best in the country with enough accommodation facilities. You might have challenge with charging as most rooms doesn't have sockets but you can always have your way if you have extensions. Enjoy your stay bro. Ekiti is indeed a good place to be!
