The best president Nigeria has ever produced, the only one with a PHD.

I agree with this statement. We just didn't know what we had till he stepped down, and he warned us that we are about to enter into the hands of hungry power seekers with nothing but empty promises.

Let me look for it, that town is London.

Another big politician has made his villa a paradise, Chris Ngige built multiple roads and a lot of infrastructure in his village at Alor in Anambra state.

Not only Alor, all the surrounding towns are highly developed.

Are we sure our leaders come from where they convinced us they came from? If they do, how come that most parts of the country is suffering neglect, insecurity, poverty and diseases, lack of infrastructure and generally a hellhole.

If our leaders cannot show that they care for their immediate communities by their philanthropy even before they rise to positions of authority, chances are that they may not lead well. Let us review the birth places of our high ranking politicians to see what they've been able to do for their people, and see if they deserve to lead the people again. We are going to see the scorecards of many politicians past and present. Presidents and governors, senators and ministers, past and present.

Who have attracted more roads for their villages, more health facilities, more employment opportunities, more economic empowerment, more housing, more schools and the best secure environment.

@OP, my own take on the matter is that a lot of people from other parts of Nigeria don't understand what development means. It's only in Igboland that people feel the need to develop their towns and neighboring communities because they know they will always return to the same village each festive season, Christmas, Easter, marriages and burials and every other occasions.

In Anambra state, the governors make sure that each community is connected by another community, the whole of the south east is on a massive development push which is ongoing now.

I also noticed that other tribes in the sw and north don't bother to develop their immediate communities. The south south also develops their communities, I was in Akpabio home village and was impressed.

A phantom commissioner.

Ibo and lies ehh.

I didn't want to say this here, since it's just mere rumours, but I heard Fayemi and Makinde are considering changing their commissioners for commerce and industry to Igbo men from Ebonyi. Just rumour sha.

I can bet my last kobo this would not have been an issue for most Yorubas if this appointment, that denies many deserving Ondo indigenes a job, was not for a lady who has no affiliation with Ondo and is from the insufferable, hateful and extremely bigoted Igbo ethnic group.

What Akeredolu did feels like a betrayal to most Yorubas given how Igbos are ingrates who peddle hate speech against his people non-stop daily.

Igbos leave no one in doubt they hate Yorubas and remain committed to working against our interests even when they have benefitted from us immensely. Akeredolu either lives in a cave or is a pu.ssy-whipped weak ass Nigga. I know which one I believe is the case.

Th is I the problem with Nigeria, when they see merit they avoid it and rather choose mediocrity. That's why we ended up with the likes of bubu.

Ondo state is on the rise, up Ondo! The sunshine state grin

If separation is about hatred then Enugu hates Anambra. Delta hates Edo. Ekiti hates Ondo; Katsina hates Kaduna. etc. Sometimes people want to forge their own path. The only people we know that operate EXCLUSIVELY on hatred in Nigeria are the Igbos. Even your ipob-biafra agitation is based on hatred. The only way you will get biafra is when you change you hateful self. But that will never happen because hatred is in your dna. We Yorubas have figured you out. We know your penchant for hate and bile. This is why we have reserve series of canes for your igbotic hide to flog you into submission whenever you start feeling yourself.

All this effort just because you want SS to hate Yorubas as much as they hate you. But let me bust your bubble - it can never work. For decades, Nigerians have interacted with each other and the non-Igbo Nigerians have come to the same conclusion -Igbos are the most tribalistic/hateful tribe on earth. You can never change that. Not in this lifetime. You can never smear the great Yoruba race with a pathetic NL or twitter thread. Yorubas are never desperate. We are strategic to the bone. There is no way an emotional-estrogen driven tribe like Igbo can muster the wisdom/tact needed to navigate the complex Nigerian socio-political terrain. This is why when we see you, we see children, who are still struggling to control their base-emotions. We have offered to teach you how to behave yourself in public. Bring the effeminate-boy Peter Obi (who is your most illustrious son) to Bourdillion let him come and learn basic social/political etiquette from (not even Tinubu) but one of Tinubu's house-boys. He will be housed, clothed and fed. And when in graduates in 20 years, he can go home and spread his knowledge to alaigbo. This is your ONLY hope of smelling biafra. Until then keep parading your porn-star Kanu led ipobic unclothedness/hate/bile all over the world - it is a source of comedy and bemusement for us all.

Go back and take your medicine. sorry

Officialgarri:

Explain your post then if you actually think it's worth defending.

I'll cite an example..
Taxi drivers would charge #300 from point A-B for 6 passengers (2 in front, 4 behind) = #1800 at #143 per litre of petrol.
When the government directed they carry only 3 passengers (1 in front, 2 behind) , the price was hiked to #800 at #123 per litre of petrol.
And you think that's not extortion?

Same applies to a keke that charges #50 for 4 persons = #200 at #143/litre of fuel
Now he is directed to carry just two. He hikes his price to #150 at #123/litre of fuel.

Stop supporting extortion. This is a period where everyone needs to help one another

What about the policemen and task force on the road to collect extortion money, or they detain your car because one passengers nose mask is not covering his nose.

What about the reduced operating hours due to curfew?

I have noticed a very sad development being carried out by some people here and I wish to bring that to your notice

I wish to bring to the notice of all nairalanders that there are some imposters posing as Igbos with the sole intent of dividing us and the South South.. I have noticed the schemes of some monickers who hide under the cloak of being Igbos to sabotage the buoyant relationship that exists between the South East and the South south. These monickers are relentlessly trying to bring disunity between Igbos and South south states especially Rivers state.

I do not know the reason for this their malevolent acts but I just want us all to be wary of their machinations and not fall victim of their tricks.

These monickers include Crixx, Kìnematics, KINEMATÌCZ, RIVERS1stson, Portharcourt1stsòn etc

Say No To Divide And Rule

South East and South South Are One
