Oga, keep your advice, address it to the government instead.

How can you advice business owners to reduce the prices, do you know how much they bought their goods for? Did you follow him to the market to dodge bandits and herdsmen bullets, police harassment and agbero extortion? Do you sometimes ask how they manage to power their business with generators in this high cost of diesel and petrol?

Some of you have a warped idea of business, and that you have never ran one single business is affecting your judgment.

In summary, dollar rise is just one out of the over 10 things that pushed prices up. Address the dollar first, because the bulablablu took it from #700 to #1250, shave the #550 first, then we can talk about those other 9 problems.

Sanu.

Oga, if only you knew this businessman antecedents you will not align him with his tribe, Igbos will discard, and refuse to associate with such.
The fact that he is igbo does not make him favorable to you, infact your next Yoruba or Hausa guy may have more regards for you, more benevolence than people like that businessman. Such people have sold their souls to the devil under greed.
I know you may not know, and there are certain things that cannot be reveled here, but I assure you, such people should not be in anyway linked to igbos when they fall foul of the law. I am talking of large scale criminality where what is for eg 1m people is taken under magomago, dagbo court judgements etc. Some chicken change is now used to then build eg 1 rubbish building called school for the 1m people, those people then go around praising the businessman that he has done well, not knowing he took all was meant to come to them.
Leave all these men, na them destroy the country.
I despice wike, but in this case, dealing with such people is the proper thing.
Go on YouTube and watch the wike interview with aruleba of ait and the channels news team.

In all you said in this post, you failed to point out where Ukachukwu is wrong on this matter.

214 hectares of land in FCT is too much for a man talk less of acquiring it illegally. Greed is a big problem giving this country a huge setback. People will steal unimaginable amount money that they cannot finish spending in a lifetime, and some will buy amount of land that they dont even need at all. Nigerians should learn to be contented.

Waoh! But one man will own

cement company
Flour company
Sugar refinery
Fuel refinery

How many hectares is that again?

Nigerian mentality is poor.

Exhibiting your ignorance as usual, how can a director sign a governor's consent, that is the exclusive jurisdiction of the Minister in the case of Abuja?

We have numerous lands where the commissioners signs COFO for lands in many states don't we? Is every land in Abuja allocated by the minister?

So keep spewing the propaganda, people will be looking at your face while the FG is defending FX with scarce resources, they can even borrow more and defend naira, just to save face. Continue.

I’m an advocate of state police. It is inevitable. I’m n addition, the constitution needs to be amended to remove governors who have lost control of security situation in their states.

Is there anyway state governments can lose control of security in their states if they control the process? I don't think so. Let the state police provisions be approved and let it start working, then we can talk about those who cannot secure their states by themselves.

There's element of truth in the accusations but they're both politicians and the worst thing that can happen to you is to believe them. Ukachikwu is already a rich man so he should be contented with what he has and stop buying land everywhere he sees in the name of estate. Same applies to Wike

I was expecting you to appear in this thread to take a stand against the Igbo man, you didn't disappoint grin

You only added a veil to seem to attack Wike too, but in the end you failed to give the hurt Igbo man his credit because you know he was right.

Chinua Achebe wasn't a politician but he wrote this:

I will be the first to concede that the Igbo as a group is not without its flaws. Its success can and did carry deadly penalties: the dangers of hubris, overweening pride, and thoughtlessness, which invite envy and hatred or, even worse, than can obsess the mind with material success and dispose it to all kinds of crude showiness. There is no doubt at all that there is a strand in contemporary Igbo behavior that can offend by its noisy exhibitionism and disregard for humility and quietness.”

CHINUA ACHEBE, in his book, 'There was a country'.

Nobody could have said it better than an Igbo man.

Wike said that cows should never be reared in Abuja city centre, today the same cows are still eating grass and dropping huge poo poo inside Abuja city centre. Do you think if its Igbo man cows that are there, do you know the government would have confiscated the animals and slaughtered all of them to teach the Igbo man a lesson grin

Why demonish a property that has 2 subsisting court orders in favor of the owner.
The proper course of action is to address the matter in court and seek to overturn the orders if there are grounds to do so.. Wike should be in jail by now for contempt if this happened elsewhere

Nigeria is a sham country, and foreign investors are reading the news. How can a government minister demolish a property when the owner has won in the courts?

This is just insane.

Nicholas Ukachukwu is pained that because he is an Igbo man, he was not allowed to get away with an illegality of buying land in Abuja without going through True process while the Fulanis and Yorubas were allowed to get away with the same thing.

Well, crying victim mentality for being an Igbo slave will not help him. The only thing that can help him is Igbo presidency. Let him start donating money to Igbo political power and channel his energy to Igbo president actualisation so that he will enjoy any illegality he wants to enjoy in Abuja like his Yoruba and Fulani friends.

Like Awolowo said 'Take thee the political establishment and every other thing will be added unto you'.

Crying will not help. Sorry though for your loss.

I know you read the story and know the truth, but you must twist things out of context to suit your devious mind. Continue.

That's playing d victim card.... If u don't want to watch wike that's your problem and if playing d victim is what gives you joy, then I'm absolutely fine with it

What other reasons made him destroy the property that is approved, has won in the courts apart from ethnic bias? The man is right. Wike did this because it was owned by someone related to the people he killed many of his brothers in Obigbo, Rivers state.

You need to read history without bias, antecedents and present rules of engagement. The exceptional Igbos with good conduct and high level of intelligence have been override by their bad & ill mannered majority.

My brother, you are the one denying the history you had read. The Igbo were, are still, and forever will be dominant in business and every other spheres of human achievement, despite the attacks, like what brought us to this thread. Its an innate manifestation of many decades of careful grooming that has translated to a culture of success. I will have time to lecture you about this in subsequent threads or posts.

The question is was the paper of Ukachukwu genuine or not.. Ministers don't approve or sign off land in Abuja, it's the work of the Director of lands, survey and urban planning in FCTA.

If the paper is genuine, why demolishing his property?? Your eye dey the land Wike not because there was no Minister.

Correct question. The matter is even decided in court against the FCDA.

Igbos are too dubious and desperate, why no one trust their dealings but mock them indirectly.

No, I think Igbos are so daring and forthright in business that other people are afraid of what they may do if the competition table is levelled, so they attack Igbo interests to stay in the competition.
