Politics / A Skeptic's Questions For Buhari Supporters by Succincts: 6:25pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
1. why do you prefer someone who repressed freedom of speech to someone who gave you FOI bill 2. How do you explain the fact that the same people who you accuse of destroying the country ie PDP are the same people who are now in APC. will they operate differently in their new party, dont you think that they will still carry their baggage into the new party. 3. Given Buhari's antecedents(the ekwueme treatment, repressing freedom of speech, nans etc) dont you think that he may likely repeat those things if he eventually wins more questions may be added as time goes on but lets make do with these nb:i am apolitical 3 Likes 1 Share |

my question now is that if APC says PDP is the problem of this country and then turns around to present those same PDP members to us to be elected. whats now the difference are they not giving us the same old medicine which has not cured any disease. SMH for this country 1 Like |

***food for thought*** 1 "Before I continue, Nigerians are people who see conspiracy and self-service in everything because I think they believe everyone is like them. ......... I don’t blame you for the many atrocities you have been able to get away with, Nigerians were your enablers every step of the way. People ultimately get leaders that reflect them. " 2 "when you copy something you also copy the modifications based on the learning from the original; only a fool starts from scratch and does not base his decisions on the learning of others." " Human knowledge and development and civilization will not have progressed if each new generation and society did not build on the knowledge of others before them." 3 " It is therefore outrageous that you accuse the current President of a similar two-facedness that you yourself used against the people of the country." 4 "I focus on the issues I have been given responsibility over and not on the jobs of others. " 5 " Of course, you are the great pretender, making people believe you have a good family life and a good relationship with your children but once in a while your pretence gets cracked." 6 " This your attitude is a reflection of the country. It is not certain which came first, your attitude seeping into the country’s psyche or the country accepting your irresponsible behavior for so long." 7 "it’s a symbiotic relationship. Nigeria has descended into a hellish reality where smart, capable people to “survive” and have their daily bread prostrate to imbeciles. Everybody trying to pull everybody else down with greed and selfishness — the only traits that gets you anywhere." 8 "You and your cronies mentioned in your letter have left the country worse than you met it at your births in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Nigeria is not the creation of any of you, and although you feel you own it and are “Mr Nigeria” deciding whether the country stays together or not, and who rules it; you don’t. Nigeria is solely the creation of the British. .......Togetherness is a choice and it must serve a purpose." 9 "How do you think God will provide good leaders to such a people? God helps those who help themselves." 10 " I have so much to do and think to make this world a better place than to waste it on fighting with idiots over a political post that does no good to society." 11 " As usual you wanted me to run for your self-serving purpose to perpetuate your name in the political realm and as the liar that you are, you later denied that it was you who wanted me to run in 2011." then this last one is the best of them all 12 "The whole system, including the public themselves want oppressors, not people working for their collective progress. When no one is planning the future of a country, such a country can have no future. I won’t be your legacy, let your legacy be Nigeria in the fractured state you created because, it was always your way or the highway. and finally what could she mean by this statement" i am also wondering what she means by this statement "You called me after your vengeful letter as usual, looking out for yourself and thinking you will bribe me by saying the APC will use me for the Senate. Do you really know me and what I want out of life?" |

Politics / Re: Fashola Condemns Nigeria’s Centenary Celebration Plan by Succincts: 9:17am On Oct 02, 2013 |
Its just 2 sides of a coin if you ask me. yesterday we marked 53years of independence as a nation. Next yr we wil b celebrating, 100 Years of existence as a nation. using conception and birth of baby is a wrong analogy. and i will explain. 1. at conception of a baby you dont name the baby. (Was Fashola called Fashola when he was still in the womb). so if NIgeria recieved the name NIgeria at 1914. it can not then be said to be analogous to conception rather it is analogous to birth. 2. at birth a child is as human as old man, but he is still dependent. so also we can liken NIgeria at 1914 to be a full nation but still dependent. so Fashola was wrong on this one. the non celebration or marking of the cetenary does not negate it as the birth of Nigeria. so i think the general explanation to the debate is that. 1. whereas 1960 marks the beginning of independence of an already existing nation. 1914 clearly marks the coming into existence of the nation. though receiving orders from another just as a child recieved orders from other human beings but yet he is still a human. 2. Nigerians have ignored celebrating their birth date. please dont ask me why. gracias for listening 1 Like |

Infomizer: I don't see the big deal. After all, it's their own contribution (knowingly or unknowingly) to preventing the spread of STDs and unwanted pregnancies. Some fanatics will not sell tho'.haha thier own contribution you say. They may be preventing the spread of disease but not preventing a sinful act. 1 Like |

Religion / Isnt It Wrong For Christian Pharmacists To Sell Condoms by Succincts: 12:47pm On Sep 28, 2013 |
this question just got me wondering. we all know that married couples rarely make use of condoms. stand to be corrected though. which means that the most people who make use of condoms are using it to do something that that the bible talks against. fornication, adultery etc now as a christian pharmacist selling condoms to people for them to commit immorality. does that not make you someone who encourages immorality. talk about a christian selling guns. you dont use it but you sell it. isnt this the same thing with selling condoms. you dont use it but you sell it. so folks its just a question. wouldnt it be an act of "encouraging sinful acts" for a pharmacist to sell condoms? isnt it wrong #first rule of civil discussion: attack the question and not the questionniare. its only a question. so thanks for your anticipated contribution. |
Religion / How Often Do You Observe Family Fastings And Prayer Times by Succincts: 12:30pm On Sep 28, 2013 |
maybe i should first ask. do you fast at all if you do, is it only when its required in your churches or during special seasons so the main question is: how often do you come together with your family just for fasting and praying. a family that prays together stays together. |

I did not know that individual posters do not have the right to tittle thier own threads. Especially when the threads are not offensive 3. Thanks Mac FOR showing that there is no freedom of speech in this section. You had the audacity to block me from this section,i didnt post any offensive stuff. I have freedom of speech to tittle my thread anyway i want so far as it is not offensive MAclatunji, WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF TRUTH |
