Key Responsibilities
• Financial Oversight: Manage the end-to-end accounting function, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize daily cash flow to ensure the business meets its distribution and operational obligations.
• Banking & Facilities: Oversee company banking relationships, including the management of loan agreements and credit facilities.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts to guide management in strategic decision-making.
• Compliance & Tax: Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory requirements, including VAT, WHT, and other relevant Nigerian tax laws.
• Financial Reporting: Provide the Managing Director with accurate monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and variance analysis.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and prevent leakages.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. ICAN or ACCA (fully qualified or in view) is a significant advantage.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in finance management, ideally within the FMCG or distribution sector.
• SME Expertise: Proven ability to manage finances within a lean, fast-paced business environment.
• Software Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and mastery of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar ERPs).
• Character: Unquestionable integrity and a high level of professional ethics.
