Anyway, I think the inter-tribal (ethnic) marriage between Yorubas and Igbos is grossly overblown. I don’t even need any type of sample size or stats/figures to know it’s overblown. It’s basically just another social media fallacy that has been magnified to create a faux reality like everything else. Most people will always date/marry people from their own group. And aren’t Igbos the same people you have to pay your life savings in bride price to marry? So, why would Yoruba men who have more options pay that ridiculous tax, when most Igbo men can’t afford it?
