RomanceI Broke Up With Her. But I Cant Get Over Her Thought Now. by sunch(op): 1:54pm On Nov 29, 2010
For close to 3weeks now, i've been hauntd by the thought of my girlfriend whom i broke up wit due to disagreement. I've been dying to recieve her call for her apology for each passing day.
I dnt want 2b d first person to call, due to the fact dat if i shld , shd wld take advantage of it and take it for grantd, which has happend before. I knw she loves me and same i do dearly. I need ur candid and precise thought on this issue

Initially i said, i never meant to offend anyone, but d responses frm you all has been outrageously d reverse. What i expectd frm u is an explicit evidence of your cooking prowess(nt one frm d catering sch.) to prove me wrong wit my probably ill-opinion. Instead you bro/sis kept venting ur anger by pouring in vituperations d opinion. WHY? Be matured, or am i dealing wit children?

The truth is bitter,though. Ehen! u talkd 'bout my english SLANGuage, i wld come back to dat later. But the fact remains dat no man wld want u 2feed him with a kinda ireti(check-mate) catering practical stuffs. POISON!!! abeg

I dnt want any body to bother, but to examine theirselves and make haste for a change. Noticeably mst educatd yoruba man wld prefer other tribes than theirs, why? Cos when u even marry them they wld be lazy&relunctant to enter d kitchen. Dats when they wld be seeking 4d service of a house-help dat wld take care of their responsible as a woman, wife and mother. Pls dnt bother, but make amend, which is key to a sweet sweet home of good meal

@omega10,
why must u knw where am from. Though i grew up right here in lag, so i knw 'bout the yorubas completely. Still wondering where am frm, just watch it am an emerging non-lagosian but lagosian birth, gov'nor of LAGOS STATE, do u doubt it. The fact remains dat ur chics cnt cook, dats why u wld see droves of them in catering schools, so as to be up to the task.

@iya ngbali,
i thank u a great deal for ur reasonable and precise response. Really have been noticing dat wit her on the lang. tang even wit her sista das married. But on the generosity wit d hole dat i wldnt likely support, cos it's wit all tribes. It wld depend on the up bringing of the girl child wich is to do wit pressure from the society she lives in, her peers, even d kind of informatn she was exposed to, nt to mention our home videos etc
CultureYoruba Girls Can't Cook by sunch(op): 11:28pm On Nov 18, 2010
If i wld marry a yoruba girl, i wld make sure i send her to my mum for an industrial attachment in the kitchen, because they cnt cook. What they are best at is there omi obe, ewedu, gbegiri, efo riro and what. I except the ekiti and ondo chics, but the rest are foul

Anytime i hear of that institutions name my heart skips and filld with ferocious anger. The institution is made up of non-committed, greedy, selfish, self-centred, & disgruntled bunch of staffs. Can anyone ask them if this is d way they had there education.
Posing as threat by frustrating, extortioning, stressing, &making life unbearable for the students. Why wont NUC disaccredit some courses, when they seems to have a non-chalant attitude 2work.

@nwaka,
dnt take it too far. U knw d point is dat it's actually wat we came 2meet. Even if both partys are from same village there wld still be a thourogh findings to knw about nt just d girl but its family as a whole including her lineage. Applicable to woman side to dman. To me it's meaningless, but it's sure part of d norm. Moreova, seems like u're ibo, ibos are more concern 'bout making findings as they wldnt want to associate wit an osu etc
CultureRe: Igbira Women, What About Them? by sunch(op): 3:24pm On Nov 09, 2010
U must have read other threads dat discuss 'bout d ebiras in a ill-manner, eg jonas saying na wa ooo, and i've expecting him to come expatiate on dat. Moreova azeeza let me and excanny know how ur peops differs to the yorubas. Also wat is d likes and dislikes ur ladys dat u might have observed overtime.
