I stated my case AGAIN. I had already stated my case when I made the paid calls mentioning that the processing time of 3 weeks had elapsed and emphasising that my school was resuming soon. Then it was escalated.

When I sent the first paid mail I just wanted to know the status of the application. After I received an "awaiting decision" response, I then went ahead and stated my case AGAIN.

Big congratulations and best of luck in your studies! I am immediately drawn to anyone with a biometric date of 10th August. Could you shed more light on how you responded to paid mail. You sounded as if you waited for a response from your paid mail before you went ahead and state your case. Why did not you just state your case upfront when you were sending the paid mail.

Application date - 15th July
Booked flight - 17th July
Canceled application - 3rd of August. I didn't know POF should be 28 days from the date of application not biometrics.
New application - 5th August
Biometrics - 10th August
Empty NSF - 14th August
Interview invitation - 25th August
Interview - 27th August. I was sent IHS link to top up shortly after the interview.
IHS payment - 29th August

NO WORD FROM UKVI

1st paid call - 4th September (awaiting decision)
2nd paid call - 7th September (still awaiting decision but it was escalated and I was advised to wait for 15 working days before calling them again)
Escalation - 7th September
Paid Mail( since I was advised not to call...lol) - 12th September (still awaiting decision as at 6pm)

THEN I DECIDED TO TAKE IT UP IN PRAYER. At this point I needed a miracle as my flight had already been booked for the 17th September.

I responded to the paid mail around 12AM clearly stating my case again.

UKVI contact centre responded - 13th September (decision has been made as at 11am, but still at DMC)

More prayer. That the passport be returned to Nigeria before Friday.

Transferred to VAC - 14th September
Received by VAC - 14th September
Pickup mail from TLS - 14th September, 12:29pm( Visa was approved and delivered to VAC in 24hrs)
Passport in my hand with vignette - 14th September, 2:16pm

ALL GLORY TO GOD! It's still like a dream to me, I indeed experienced a miracle.

I was strengthened with 2kings7:1-20. Where the people of Israel experienced an unusual overnight victory.

I pray for those still waiting that you experience an unusual speed in Jesus Name, Amen!

First, I am not sure a Naira card will work so use a dollar card.

Go to this website https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk and follow the instructions carefully. The two options to contact UKVI are paid mail and paid call so just make your choice.

When you dial the number, opt for general inquiries as an option from the caller options. Then you'll be asked to input your card details like this; card number*expiry date*Security*. If it's successful you'll be connected to a customer service rep from UKVI.

The charge on your card will start counting only when you have been connected to the rep.

Tips
- Try using a GLO line to make the call. My Airtel line didn't work.
- Load with sufficient airtime.
- Have your passport and application details handy.
-Note down whatever details you may be given during the call.

They didn't say. Still awaiting decision.

I had an interview on 27th August. Few hours later, I was sent a link to pay for IHS as it showed $0.00 after filling the application form.

Payment was made early hours of 29th August and since then no update.

Just waiting and praying now as school resumes in less than two weeks.

- Biometrics done August 19th (Standard)
- Received by DMC August 21st
- No NSF, No interview, One paid mail and several follow ups later, finally got confirmation from a rep on 8th of September that a decision has been made.
- Got BRP mail on Sunday September 10th around 7:36am yesterday (Decision was made on Sept 7th)
- Application transferred to VAC 11th of September
- Application received by VAC 11th of September
- Collection mail and sms dropped around 4pm today , 11th of September
- Waiting to get my passport from DHL by say tomorrow 💃💃💃

So so happy because I resume on the 18th. Everyone waiting for a response will get one soon in Jesus name 🥹🫶🏾

Follow that link. I did paid mail yesterday and my friend in UK called them this morning to know why my decision is been delayed despite paying for priority

Application in DMC since Aug 21.....No NSF nothing. Today makes it exactly 15days

Please I need to know how to go about making a paid call. I've tried the numbers on the website but they don't even ring before going off.

My application got to 15 working days as at last week Friday 1 September and I'm trying to get an update on my student visa application.

Is there a specific code I'm meant to use while dealing? This is how the number is +44 (0) 300 790 6268. When I dial directly it doesn't go through.

What do I do?

P.S; I'm using an Airtel line, and I loaded my phone with a lot of airtime too.

After the nsf, did you do a paid call before they invited you to interview?

Then what questions were you asked during the interview?

Please help, I also got an empty nsf after my Bio on the 10th and I haven't received any update since then.
