I'll weigh my options with the HP. Also need guidance of it. What type of Car Op? I am afraid you will still have to refer to that same thread, you should be able to get the answer you seek. |

juwoonn: Bolt is not a good business. I've done this before with my personal car. There's almost no profit.. so I had to stop. You keep spending the profit on car fix, fuel and car servicing. This is from me driving my car myself not to talk of someone delivering...you won't even believe they're telling you the truth.. reason why many bolt drivers have quit the business. Although there are good days... Such days are event filled Saturdays and religious festive seasons like Xmas, Sala, and ileya God bless you real good for this Bro. been looking for somebody else to come to my 'rescue' on this and save Op before a Wolf in Sheep's clothing comes on here to tell good stories about the business, what works for A might not work for B. |
Business › Re: Car Given Out For Bolt, Is It Profitable? by sunnymighty(m): 12:56pm On Jan 14, 2024 |
RosyIsBlessed: Okay thank you. But from your experience what's the downside of giving out a car for weekly returns? Not all drivers are sincere, the possibility of your car being thoroughly abused is high, weekly remittance may not be timely or even regular, coupled with different stories typical of a Danfo drivers in Lagos. I have since retrieved my Car, it is parked in my premises right now as I speak, the possibility of you making profits is low. I can screenshot and send the topic to you, but I don't know how to share a link here and I doubt if you will even have the time to read over 5,000 pages go with HP option if you must do the business, but be extra careful so you don't regret please my 2 Cents. |

RosyIsBlessed: Hello guys. I want to give out a car for bolt business. I'll like to know if it's profitable.
Please note; the person will be paying me weekly.
How much should I collect weekly and is it profitable?
What are the terms of this kind of agreement?
Who will be maintaining the car between me and the driver?
Please I need ideas as I've never done this kind of business before. There is a thread on Nairaland (Business Section) on Uber/Bolt Business, you can ask your question there or better still go over the thread from beginning to the last page, you will surely find the answer you seek. If I am to advise you, it depends on a lot of factors for example, the type and condition of the Car in question. Besides I will advice you either go with HP option or you drive the car yourself to avoid stories, I have been through that path. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Breaking News : New More Free Autism School Loading: Apostle Gift Chibuzor by sunnymighty(m): 7:28am On Jan 08, 2024 |
Jewessgratitud3: Better. All These regular private schools should stop accepting children with autism and let them go to schools like this meant for them and where they are better taken care of and handled by professionals who studied the course than giving a regular teacher the task who has no clue what to do.
There's one in a school I teach, I feel the boy is just wasting away there and the owner of the school is just collecting money for nothing. All the children that met this boy in kg are now in nursery while he's still there talking to himself. Don't you think a Special Education unit manned by Professionals can be created within a regular school to promote Inclusion. |

Family › Re: My Parents Is About To Jeopardize The Future Of Their Grandchildren Unknown To T by sunnymighty(m): 5:21pm On Dec 18, 2023 |
Lifeinlight: I seems not to understand my parents anymore. My parents had 4 children, 3 boys and a girl. I am the second child, i have an elder brother who's late. My late brother was married and had two kids, a boy and a girl. His wife was carrying the second child in her womb when he died through motor accident. The second child doesn't know her father. Seven years after the demise of her husband my brother. Her mother had been pressurising her to reconsider marriage. She was even discussing it with my mum seeking for her opinion. My mum also suggested she listened to her mother and remarry, provided she meet someone responsible. She was still young then. She lost her husband my brother when she was 26.
She eventually met someone two years ago and they both agreed to get married. They were supposed to settle down last year April, but she died February last year. Rumor had it that she was used. Her children aren't aware yet, and we do not have the plan telling them anything probably till they grow old. The lady called her two children through my mum's phone praying for them, telling them not to disturb grandma and grandpa. When her uncle and younger sister came to break the sad news to us, i was shocked that the lady had already died when she called to speak with her children. She so much love her children and she always try to celebrate their birthday in a little way and get them clothes during the Yuletide season. We lied to the children that their mother had travel out of the country reason why they're unable to speak with her. It was her friends that came to celebrate one of their birthday. They had to lie that it was their mother that sent them. They know those friends very well to be their mother's friend. One of them almost broke down in tears in the presence of the kids. It was the other person that scolded her to compose herself.
The problem we're having now is that, the lady parents are planning to return back to the village as things are so hard for them. Her mother is a widow with lots of grandchildren with her. She has lost three children including the lady and some of their children are living with her. These children doesn't go to school nor learn a skills. She said she doesn't have the financial strength to put them in school and their fathers had abandoned them. This same woman wants to collect the two children back to the village. My parents are considering to accept she takes them to the village being that they do not also have the means raising these children. The proprietor of the school where these children attend is aware that they're orphan. He automatically waved the school fees of one throughout their primary education and asked us to pay only one. These children education will end once their maternal grandmother takes them to the village. Even their late mother do not want her children to live with her mother.
My parents are considering giving out the children to their maternal grandmother. I have invited the school proprietor to convince them but they aren't convinced. My parents are concerned about their welbeing which according to them feeding is the major. I support the family in my own little way but i just finished service. I haven't gotten any job yet. The children are even expecting Christmas clothes from their late mother. We've reached out to one of their mother's friend but the feedback wasn't encouraging. They claimed they wouldn't be able to meet up with that. My parents do not wish to release these children though, but they're considering how the children will survive. They believed feeding wouldn't be a problem if they relocate to the village.
I learnt the maternal grandmother was advised by their neighbors, friends and family to return to the village since they're finding it difficult to feed, pay house rent and even send the children to school. Our own case is a bit different, my father lives in his own house. Only feeding and their education is the problem. I was even trying to reason with my mum, i told her these children's mother will not be happy with us if we allow her children follow her family back to the village. These children are too bright to end up in the village without education. The last time they visited their maternal grandmother during the holiday, these children were made to hawk. It was someone that informed us and the children confirmed it. These children doesn't want to follow them down to the village, it's more like forcing them out of their wish. They've gotten used to us, and they prefer paternal grandparents over their maternal grandparents. My parents literally see the maternal grandmother's offer as a relief to them. I don't understand maybe it's old age that is worrying them or something.
Please how do i make my parents have a change of mind? Get someone they both respect to talk to them and make them see reasons why it is not advisable to hand those children over to their maternal grandparent. |
