A VOLVO without A/C and of mannual Gear for 670k?

500k is good for this kind of car that may mean scarce spare parts as well and not the model too known by mechanics, tho it is better than buying the pure water jetta or golf and audi in the Nigerian market today

Naijababe, earthMAMA, **osisi;

You people have spoken well, i love your comments because they are balance thoughts

Nobody is against making lagos clean, orderly and like 'Obamaland' but we must not forget simple things that have sustained our existence as Nigerians. Ours is a dynamic country that we need to look for a dynamic way to slove our unique problems too and not just try to create the picture of a street or trade center we see in 'Honolulu' or 'Queensland' here. If we don't put in all the dynamics of our 'average Nigerian thinking (not mentality)' into the mix, i can trust Nigerians that all these efforts would be thwarted, disgraced and rendered useless at the end of the day.

I want to comment that the Government need to look at the type of people they are actually dealing with. these are mostly people who cannot afford to pay for a shop, some can but only do this business in these places to ensure they can make ends meet considering other costs. There are those that location and crowd spots are the main reasons, others are only part time traders and some only manage to find a space just to put something for sale as a starter in business.

I have on records that parents of some of our so called elites had to use these same market spots as the springboard of their life and though My mum sold from a store, but I would ever cherish the presence of the 'roadside' colleagues of hers, they had many times added to the good life we had then e.g. the food vendor, the second hand shoes, the rat killer, the ice cream bike stand, the teddy bear seller, etc. etc.

We would mostly agree that these men and women don't really make brisk or big money as well, they put in a lot of efforts, in the sun, morning till night and sometimes at great risks of accident, robbery and health (dust, smells, pollutants, flies etc.)

We should not forget also that for a lot of them, there is little else they can do than to come dilligent to these markets each day and get the little stipends with which the family survives.

It is an established market, with great human traffic and huge possiblity of sales. A place everybody had come to realise as 'MARKET' and thus you can find everything or product you wish to look for -THATS A MARKET.

tHEN gOVERNMENT SHOULD JUST CREATE SUCH MARKETS AND ENSURE HUMAN TRAFFIC IS DIRECTED THERE TOO, you don't need to build stores, just give them the open land to do there business the way they do it at Oshodi, Awani,ojuwoye, Ijora or Orile - CREATE THE NEW MARKETS, collect your 'daily tickets' money (big revenue for government and can serve as tax) and people will go their to buy and would forget those road sides!!! Shikena!!

This is what I think the Nigerian in us would abide with to leave Oshodi or Aswani. Our goverment should not kill the industious ingenuity of our people in the name of mega city. How possible is that without the 'MEGA MARKETS ORIGINAL' huh huh

NAIJA RONU, THINK, BE VISIONARY - Thats my advice to Egbon Fash and Co.

AutosRe: Hyundai Centennial. Car That Demands Attention And Respect. Only 1.2million! by sunnyprof: 8:24am On Jan 29, 2009
I don't care if this car is German or in Russia!!! All I know is that it is Korean product and i work with a Korean firm too. I would like to have it and coin it as my "official car" to all admirers. But frankly I can only pay 800k 'cos Korean cars are not really strong and spare part is hell moreso to servcie this will take some effort. So, consider the price and let's talk. on 08023350300
AutosRe: **'99 VW Golf 3 Station Wagon** For Sale: by sunnyprof: 7:46am On Jan 29, 2009
I think a 400k is okay for this. I will buy if you agree. It's manual gears, windows etc. Ac and body are the only fine things there U know. Its almost 10 yrs old and at 200,000 km, must have been really used!!

If you agree, i need for school runs seriously sha. call me 08023350300, 08037141865 or email Johnedos@mail.com
