She deserves to be in Forbes after servicing loans for operational costs
Don't mind him cheesy

With her level of production, she would be barely making enough to break even.

And apparently with loan repayment, she would not even be among the top ten richest women in Nigeria.

That means those with 45% share has the money and expertise for exploration.

Goes to show that she just has an oil well but do not explore the oil by herself. Abi?
If you check what your brother posted out of spite, you would realize that those investors brought 100% capital

A quick check of the capital make up of the Agbami oil fields on the internet would reveal that $1bn was spent to develop it.

Further check would indicate that it's the third largest producing well outside of the ones held by Mobile and Chevron themselves.

Please tell me how she can develop that herself?

And oh! majority of companies with 40% stake are foreign companies.

I hate to rain on your parade but Britania or whatever produce only 1000 barrels per day cheesy

Agbami oil fields produce 250,000 barrels per day and Alakija gets 10% of the revenue

10% of 250,000 is 25,000 barrels just so you know

That is 25× Uju revenue.

I just want to let you know cheesy

That means she is not into oil exploration. Just like someone that is too lazy to farm who leases his land to other serious persons for a token. Is the person also classified as a farmer?

Because I can see from the data provided by the op, that those who are into exploration has as high as 45% share. Could it be said that the madam is been paid rent on the oil field?

We learn everyday. Make una help me understand
Where will she get the money and expertise to develop the large field herself?

You claimed she's the owner of the well, I only corrected you grin
She is the owner of the well and she brought partners to develop it for her.

Shey English is your problem.

She was awarded an already existing well with proven reserve and government are stakeholders in such a venture.

Abi they would just give her 10% for nothing despite contributing nothing to develop the well.

Alakija receive only 10% from Agbami oilfield, the remaining are shared betweem NNPC, Chevron, Petrobros. operator of Agbami field is Star Deep, kindly view the table
You are honestly silly

What is the table got to prove

Government have shares in all the joint ventures exploitation you saw on the list you provided on the front page ranging from 40% to 60% while the rest is shared by the private joint venture partners.

How do you think government makes money?

I believe it's only the lone risk ventures that enjoy greater degree of control.

Working capital is quite different from Ownership and sharing of revenue

You can check it again yourself. 300 mcf in two locations.
300 Mcf means 300,000 cubic feet of gas

Even if imo is generating 300 mcf in two locations

It means 600,000 cubic feet.

How can imo alone produce 600 million cubic feet?

The Agbami FPSO was built by South Korea's Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.

The $3.5bn Agbami oilfield project is one of Nigeria’s largest deepwater developments.

The field spans across oil mining lease (OML) 127 and OML 128, approximately 354km south-east of Lagos and 112km offshore Nigeria, in the central Niger Delta.

Texaco and Nigerian independent oil company Famfa were granted exploration rights to the 617,000-acre block 216 in late-1996.

Agbami was proven in this block by Texaco in 1998 and two years later Statoil’s Ekoli-1 well confirmed that the discovery extended into block 217.

The average net daily production from the field in 2019 was 90,000 barrels of crude oil and 14 million cubic feet of natural gas.

Chevron has a 67.3% interest and operates the field via its Nigerian affiliate, Star Deep Water Petroleum. The remaining working interests are held by Equinor (20.21%) and Petrobras (12.49%).

The field is owned by the terms of a deepwater production-sharing contract (PSC) between Chevron and Famfa. The production licenses for the field will expire in 2024.

So what is your point ?

The working capital was brought by Foreign company who could drill and manage the company.

Working capital is not same as Ownership or share of a company

Working capital is the capital of a business which is used in its day-to-day trading operations, calculated as the current assets minus the current liabilities

Famfa isn't into oil exploration, Chevron, petrobros and Statoil are the companies exploring Agbami field, she is just receiving percentages of loyalty from Chevron
The name of their joint venture called is Star oil fields and it produces one of the largest on your list.

The Agbami oil field actually belongs to her and she brought other companies to help her tap it.

The royalties she receives a day is enough for every of the two million members on Nairaland to get a share of 100k each.

Small pikin!

Omode Ara re!

An igboman was VP before a Yoruba man so what are we saying?

An Igboman was president before a Yoruba man so why are you feeling funky?

You children of internet age know nothing about life.

It's even worse for you a Yoruba, because most of you are from broken homes where mum has gone to marry another and dad already married 3 times without success since mum left. So there's usually no dedicated parent to bring you up.

In a best case scenario, you grew up seeing so many wives come and go in your father's house. No real family union.
Aunty Agbaya

So despite the fact that you claim to be old, you don't know your own history, or are you ashamed to say it cheesy

What was the end of the Vp and president of igbo man?

No be deaths, either through Coup or the three million igbos that died in civil war

None lasted more than 7 years in total.

The Only problem is that most igbos are ashamed to admit that it pains them to bone marrow that Yorubas have had nearly 16 years of presidency through the office of the President, Vice president and Military head of state?

In addition, to the fact that they have to travel to Yoruba land to make it in life cheesy
