I heard that payment of second tranche to those who have not been paid will continue (I mean start again) today. Any confirmation in the house? |

Another mail from YouWiN! Dear... M&E... The YouWiN! Secretariat would like to notify you that the program is still ongoing and monitoring and disbursement processes remain unchanged. As earlier communicated, the Grant funds for the YouWiN program have been moved to the Treasury Single Account domiciled with the Central Bank of Nigeria. However, the program is yet to receive the relevant codes to access these funds due to the delay in Partner Banks’ compliance with the TSA directive. It is expected that disbursement will continue in the next few weeks and coming year when reconciliations have been finalized with the Banks, TSA and the Ministry of Finance. The Federal Ministry of Finance is still working to resolve the legal issues with Stanbic IBTC and UBA to ensure that they comply with the TSA directive. The Secretariat is cognizant of the challenges with awardees businesses due to delay in funds and is constantly working to ensure that these funds are released. Awardees are encouraged to keep up the good work of growing your businesses and also advised to maintain the integrity of the YouWiN! Program. Note: Participation in YouWiN! is FREE for all components of the program, and has not authorized any individual or organization to collect payments for participation. Candidates and awardees are advised to make no payments to anybody on account of YouWiN! participation and are required to immediately contact the secretariat should anyone request payment Yours, YouWiN Programme. N.B: Please note that this email is sent without prejudice to the prerogative of the Federal Government of Nigeria to withdraw, terminate or modify the YouWiN Programme at any time without notice to you. |

xdream: Now that it had been confirmed beyond every reasonable and unreasonable doubt that Daniel @DannB is so envious of YouWiN awardees that he attacked YouWiN awardees out of his frustration from his failure in life, not even been able to get transport fare to Ikoyi within Lagos and having lost in YouWiN and First Bank competition. Let us put this envious detractor behind us and continue with our plea to appropriate quarters for the release of our tranche. Since DannB issue came up, no more posts on social media on YouWiN3Awardees release of tranche. Pls let us continue. We are not finding it funny. |

stagger: Thanks for the correction. How do we reach the VIP directly? Pls put us through. We need all necessary information that can help us. My major concern is those who have not received their second tranche. When those who have received 2nd tranche are now almost running down, how much more those who have not received their second tranche. Some people's birds are dying. And if more than half of total birds in a poultry die due to inadequate funds it is a tragedy. 1 Like |

#YouWiN3Awardees it is very pathetic that so many YouWiN 3 Awardees are suffering, terminating staff while some businesses are almost closed down. Yet most awardees are suffering in silence, we can't feel their impact on tweeter. Why? Fellow YouWiN3 Awardees, let us take our cry and our plea to Facebook. Government and YouWiN Secretariat seem to completely ignore us on tweeter. Perhaps, because tweeter post is limited to just 140 characters, so we can't fully express ourselves. Let us cry out and plead on Facebook for our businesses to be rescued. Am certain that this 3rd edition of YouWiN would have emerged one of the most successful YouWiN edition, but gross delay in release of our tranches is hampering the success and almost killing the programme. Let us continue to cry and plead, we can't afford to get completely frustrated. Please don't make derogatory statements, just cry out and plead, emphasizing the importance and potential success of the programme. 2 Likes |

All YouWiN 3 that I have their numbers I called to discuss this with them. About four YouWiN 3 awardees out of those I discuss with on phone said they are satisfied with the 1st and 2nd tranches. So they will NOT care. And I told each of them that they are VERY WICKED. That even if they are satisfied can't they fight on only because of those who have not been paid their own second tranche? An injury to a YouWiN 3 awardee should be an injury to all. We all know what we passed through to win and what we have been passing through till date. The ridicule before the release of first tranche and the frustration of this present delay. Please anyone who is satisfied with his/her 2nd tranche should for the sake of those yet to be paid 2nd tranche join us in this fight. Then, anyone who don't need his/her 2nd tranche should please push it into my bank account when it is paid. In fact, my business need as much fund as I can get. I can keep expanding as much as possible. 1 Like |

And in case the Senate President don't respond. I think Ben Murray-Bruce will be more sympathetic. Here is his Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/Ben-Murray-Bruce/ This our silence is too dangerous. If we don't wake up, I pray the privileged information I got don't come to pass. But I can authoritatively declare that as far as further tranches are concerned, "Closed lip is closed destiny." I pray it should not be from one excuse to another. |

Since we are all on social media, I believe it will help a great deal if we can awash social media (Facebook, twitter etc) with complaints on 1. How none payment of tranches is negatively affecting our businesses after most of us had resigned our jobs to face YouWiN! 2. How we are planning to start relieving our staff and how some had been sacked, thereby increasing the number of unemployment in Nigeria. 3. All the moves we have been making to YouWiN Secretariat, FMF etc that are yielding no fruits. It's pathetic if all the 1,500 YouWiN 3 awardees will sack minimum of 3 staff. That will amount to a whooping 4,500 youths thrown back into the unemployed dungeon. 2 Likes |

xdream:Oh God! This government is bent on destroying the legacies of GEJ, while GEJ keep gaining international recognition. They don't give a damm if our businesses close down. So many YouWiN 3 awardees are laying of some of their staff. Stopping YouWiN 3 at this level or the continuous hanging of YouWiN 3 will not bring GEJ down, rather it is affecting our economy negatively. Just imagine if each of the 1,500 YouWiN awardees sack average of 3 staff each, that is a total of 4,500 loosing their jobs due to government attempt to frustrate GEJ and Okonjo-Iwealla innovation. We need to call the attention of this government to this figure. I will get useful contacts and post them here. Our silence is so terrible! And silence can be misconstrued to be satisfaction and or consent. 3 Likes |

Adverts / Re: Bulk Sms Companies In Nigeria by sunyleeone: 11:33pm On Jan 08, 2014 |
emma.chine: In term of customer service Mart-Linc Nig LTD who runs www.alternativeadverts.com and www.sendersms.com is the worst in my history of internet business since I started in 2005. Immediately I bought 10,000 units of sms from him his sms failed for seven days I couldnt send sms through out Christmas. When I called him he refused to pick my call, then I sent him text from my phone and ALL his four (4) phone numbers that I had was all switched off as my text delivered. I kept sending more texts from my phone to him so that when he put on his number I will know but it was four days after he put on his number. Immediately I called him when I got delivery report he claimed he traveled and that he had to return to Lagos to rectify the problem. It was after another three days before I could send sms with the credit I bought from him Upon all these till today he never sent me single text and he also failed to even flash or call me, despite so many calls from me and so many text messages from my phone to him when he eventually put on his phone. He feel he owes me no apology... |
