Atiku is so caring. He has shown us that he is truly ready to Get Nigeria Working Again

ochejoseph:
See How. Niger Market traders reacted when Atiku visited yesterday.

Traders at the Engr Abdulkadir Kure Market in Minna, Niger state could not hold back their excitement yesterday at the sight of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku, whose entrance into the market elicited spontaneous jubilation and celebration, was in Minna in continuation of his Nationwide campaign activities .

The candidate however, took a humanitarian detour to the market to sympathise with the marketers over the market fire incident that resulted in the loss of millions of naira.

Among those who accompanied him to the market were Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki , former Governor of the state who  built the market during his tenure, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu, The Director of Finance of the Campaign who also doubles and the PDP National financial secretary, Rt Hon Abdullahi Hussaini Mai Basira, and the state Gubernatorial candidate for the PDP, Alhaji Umar Nasko amongst many others.
Business / Re: Ahmed Kuru In Trouble Over Keystone Bank Acquisition By Father-in-law-TheCapital by sunyleeone: 9:59pm On Jan 03, 2019
I only hope that they won't sweep the issue under the carpet as usual.

ochejoseph:
Why Bank Customers Are Making Panic Withdrawals…

Following the controversy generated by the leading opposition party, the People’s Democratic party, PDP, over the alleged acquisition of Keystone bank and Etisalat by Alhaji Isa Funtua and the CEO of AMCON, Ahmed Kuru, President Mhammadu Buhari has ordered probe into the alleged fraud.

A highly placed source at the headquarters of the Economic and financial crimes Commission, EFCC yesterday told daybreak that the President was thoroughly embarrassed with the allegations linking him to the transactions.

According to the source, a discrete panel will be set up soon comprising of the Chairman of the EFCC, representative of the DSS, ICPC, federal ministry of Justice to look into the allegations.

The source further added that, both Isa Funtua, Ahmed Kuru, the governor of the central bank of Nigeria, CBN, Chief Godwin Emefiele and management Staff of the Keystone Bank and 9Mobile will be quizzed by the operatives of the EFCC for some interactions.

Recently, a mindboggling scandal broke out to public knowledge about how Keystone Bank and 9Mobile were acquired in controversial circumstances by the business interests of one Alhaji Isa Funtua, a close friend of President Muhammadu Buhari, via the instrumentality of Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

The PDP challenged the federal government to come out clean on what could be a serious dent on its anti-corruption stance, there is indeed no smoke without fire.

The leading opposition party also confirmed fact that the son-in-law of Isa Funtua, Ahmed Kuru, is the current CEO of AMCON.

Before him, the previous CEO, Chike Obi, was a first-class gentleman and technocrat who was strangely removed from office before the expiration of his term and was replaced with Kuru, the son-in-law of Isa Funtua.

Now, let us get into the insider details of how Funtua bought Keystone Bank and 9Mobile in the most bizarre of dealings that circumvent the laws of the land. Keystone Bank was sold by the current CEO of AMCON to his father-in-law, Funtua, without any AMCON Board’s approval and with the active connivance of CBN and NDIC at a grossly undervalued price of 25 Billion Naira. To put things in context, let us recall that Enterprise Bank was sold for over 60 Billion Naira and Mainstreet Bank was sold for over 100 Billion Naira under the former CEO of AMCON.

Before the sale of Keystone Bank to Isa Funtua, all bad debts in the books of the Bank were taken over by AMCON. So, it was a clean Bank with all the Assets and no Liabilities that was sold to the Buyers.

The Executive Management of AMCON was coerced into approving the transaction and those who were willing to submit a much higher bid were disqualified under a most opaque, suspicious process that lacks all transparency. The process was just manipulated in favour of the father-in-law of the AMCON CEO.

The Corrupt Payment for Keystone Bank The most disgusting part of the entire sale of Keystone Bank is how the 25 Billion Naira sales price was paid to AMCON.

The Isa Funtua Team paid 5 Billion Naira to AMCON, and then the balance of 20 Billion Naira was later paid through the most criminal and corrupt approach ever perpetrated by AMCON in favour of the Buyer. What happened was that AMCON moved 20 Billion Naira of their own funds as a fixed deposit at GTBank to Heritage Bank. Heritage Bank then paid the 20 Billion Naira on behalf of the Funtua Group to AMCON. In other words, AMCON used their own funds as a collateral for a loan to the Funtua Group for 20 Billion Naira!

When the Funtua Group took over Keystone Bank, they went borrowing immediately at the Interbank Market for 20 Billion Naira to refund AMCON’s funds. This has left a hole in Keystone Bank’s Balance Sheet and makes the Bank one of the most undercapitalized Banks in the Country as at today. The evidence of this highly compromised acquisition process can be obtained from the current and former staff of AMCON, from NDIC, CBN and from the current staff of Keystone Bank itself.

Another suspicious acquisition scandal surrounding the Funtua Group is about the untidy way 9-Mobile, formerly known as Etisalat, was bought. It is Mr. Adrian Wood of Teleology Holdings, a very sound telecoms professional, who collaborated with the Funtua Group for the acquisition of 9-Mobile.

The problem with their bid was the lack of a qualified Operator to support the bid which was one of the minimum conditions of NCC. Adrian Wood alone was not a substitute for an Operator.

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) gave several conditions that must be met by the Ultimate Buyer of 9-Mobile to ensure the protection of shareholders value, prevent loss of jobs, protect the telecoms industry from slipping into a crisis and ensure transparency and professionalism in the post-acquisition entity.
The conditions listed by NCC that must be met by the Buyer are Strong Telecoms Operating Experience, Strong Financial Capabilities, Strong Technical Knowledge and Strong Administrative Skills.
The first thing that happened once Teleology was announced as the preferred winner was that the Funtua Group edged Adrian Woods out of Management and turned him to an Insignificant Shareholder.

The second development was that the Funtua Group raided Keystone Bank again and forced the Bank to Pay 50 million Dollars as down payment for the acquisition of 9-Mobile.

The third issue was that Teleology Nigeria replaced Teleology Holdings to remove any influence of Adrian Woods from 9-Mobile totally. The fourth step taken the Funtua Group was to borrow 260 Million Dollars from African Exim Bank.

The fifth thing was to coerce NCC to approve the sale at all cost without meeting 90% of the conditions set up ab-initio by the NCC.

The sixth strange action of the Funtua Group was to force the board of NCC to approve the sale through the influence and pressure from the Presidency. And the seventh Funtua infraction was to use the influence of CBN to force the Banks to the table and waive their own conditions of sale of 9-Mobile to the Teleology Nigeria group.

Efforts to reach the acting Head media and publicity of Economic and financial crimes Commission,EFCC, Mr. Tony Orilade to confirmed the latest developments proved abortive as his lines were not connecting.

If you are to be sincere to yourself, can your candidate get one million votes?

The blunt truth is that this 2019 can never be used for experiment because we are in a serious battle to remove those destroying our country. But by 2023 when the situation is better we can experiment with as many candidates as possible. Another 4 years under Buhari will not only spell doom for Nigeria, but it will mark the end of Nigeria as an entity.

Atiku is a true detribalised Nigerian. He has wife from each of the 3 major tribes in Nigeria, thus he will surely be the uniting point.

ochejoseph:
In Niger state, all road led to Suleja Venue of the Zone B rally for PDP candidates as individuals from divergent background including all the ethnic groups  gathered to show their support for Atiku and PDP candidates in the state.

Speaking at the occasion, Alh Garba Chiza warned that neither INEC nor the security forces will be allowed to manipulate the 2019 general Elections.

In his remarks at the event, former Governor of the State, Muazu Babangida Aliyu stated that , it is unfortunate that under the APC, government now segragate people on the basis of their ethnicity. Stating that under APC, a child born to an Igbo and a Yoruba man residing in Suleja is not considered part of Suleja but a Kano man's child born under the same circumstances  is seen as from Suleja which should not be so. Declaring further that under the PDP administration as it has always been , all children irrespective of the origins or religious affiliations will have their  NECO and WAEC paid for them without discrimination.

Also speaking at the event, Rt Hon Abdullahi Hussaini Maibasira the  director of Finance of the presidential campaign council who brought felicitions and support from the National chairman of the party, Price Uche Secondus and the Director General  Senator Bukola Saraki , declared that the change that APC brought was a backward change which brought hunger, pain , insecurity and extreme poverty.  Maibasira stressed that high price of  food and commodities have made it difficult for the common man to live a meaningful life  and declared that voting Atiku will bring the much needed succour and comfort for the people and massive development of Niger state and Nigeria.

The youthful gubernatorial candidate of the PDP in the state Alh Umar Nasko  urged the youths to cast their votes for him and his  running mate and pledge to uphold the unity of the state for the development  and propsperity needed in the state .

He pledged to create a special directorate for job creation  and the  registration of graduates from the state  who will  get 20, 000 monthly stipend until they secure jobs so that they do not become thugs or lose hope in the waiting process.

The event which was full of fanfare also featured live performance from Dan gwari , the new Dan Ibro on the petiable state of Niger state and the Nigerian Nation under APC and General Buhari.

I can see people talking out of ignorance here.

Atiku Abubakar is the only northerner that can face Buhari power for power, stubbornness for stubbornness, rigging for rigging, money for money and remove Buhari.

If truly we want Buhari out by 2019 then we just have to support Atiku.
Atiku is a liberal Muslim. He is not a religious fanatic like Buhari. Atiku is accommodating to other ethnic groups. He is has promised to mentor the youths to take over governance. And except we want to deceive ourselves, it will be a disaster if the youths that have no experience in governance suddenly take over without proper mentorship. Atiku is the bridge between the older generation and the youths. He promised to carry youths along in governance by giving 40% position to the youths. And his campaign is driven by the youths.

WHY ATIKU IS THE CHOICE FOR PRESIDENCY 2019 -PART ONE:

-By Emmanuel Olorunmagba (Coordinator, Project Atiku 2019)

In 1998 Atiku Abubakar was elected Governor of Adamawa State, but Chief Olusegun Obasanjo considering his (Atiku's) worth, experience, managerial skill, job creation ability with other undeniable proofs and also saw in Atiku, a team player, a man of great value that can help him win his presidential election and greatly contribute in servicing the country. Hence, he chose him as his running mate.

They won the election and Atiku became the First Vice President of Federal Republic of Nigeria at the beginning of the Forth Republic in 1999.

Atiku headed the Economic Team under President Obasanjo and grew the economy of Nigeria that saw the GDP growth of 7% from the 3% as at the time they took over. This shot the GDP from $36 billion to $166.4 billion and our foreign reserve from $2 billion to $43 billion.

In addition Atiku oversaw the telecommunication revolution in Nigeria that has not only created millions of jobs both directly and indirectly, but has also given us the opportunity to interact with the rest of the world right from our sitting rooms and offices. Also a tool to fight injustice in any government without all of us been locked up and forgotten in kirikiri maximum prison like in 1984/85.

I copied the following from our group chat

After rigorous selection processes. Those who scaled through celebrated. Then from first week of January 2015 within one week all 1,500 awardees received first tranche and those who were gainfully employed had to resign to give this national assignment 100% (undivided attention). Little did we know that the scheme adjudged the best in Africa will become a trap due to change in government.

Then the battle line was drawn and it was serious efforts with prayer before God helped us scale through the TSA and pincode issues that they have deceitfully made us to believe was the only problem.

Have scaled the TSA and pincode hurdle; why the snail speed? Today makes exactly 3 weeks since the first person got the first alert and like sprinkling of waters the alert began to sprinkle and drop like a tap that Water Board just seized water from.

If for three weeks 200 awardees payment cannot be completed and we are still hovering around 50% then the following questions will come to mind:
1. When will 2nd tranche payment be completed?
2. When will they start spot check?
3. How long will the spot check take?
4. After spot check; how long will it take them to compile their spot check result?
5. After the compilation of spot check result how long will it take them to start 3rd tranche payment?
6. How many months will it take them to pay close to 1,500 awardees if for 3 weeks they cannot pay 50% of 200 awardees.
7. What exactly is the problem with the YouWiN fund?
8. Does it means that the Secretariat don't care what become of YouWiN 3 businesses?
So many pertinent questions begging for genuine answers.

2. Rough number of awardees yet to receive 2nd tranche and possibly how many are paid
3. Suggestions on points I can discuss with him.

From my own view, we should not relent in all our moves until all awardees awaiting 2nd tranche get paid and 3rd tranche alert start rolling in. The injury is just unbearable and with the trend of events we don't need to allow jubilation to take over our plans. There are still something about these people at FMF and YouWiN secretariat that are still amazing me.
1. With all the unbearable delays blamed on CBN/TSA, yet we went extra mile to get a highly placed Nigerian to plead with CBN governor to speed up the resolutions, which he did in less than a week, yet it is taking them close to two weeks now and all awardees awaiting 2nd tranche have still not been paid complete.
2. When will they finish with those expecting 2nd tranche?
3. When will they start paying 3rd tranche
4. How long will it take them to complete payments for 3rd tranche.
5. Does it means the secretariat don't care about our plight that the are forced to disburse because of our plans?
6. I never expected that the issue of TSA and pin will be restored and we will start experiencing this snail speed.

We just have to continue with all our plans because something somewhere is just not connecting properly.

UPDATE:
I have spoken to the top Nigerian I spoke of and he is willing to help us (YouWiN 3 awardees). He has agreed to speak out on our behalf. He is one of those top Nigerians that even when they sneeze all media houses will blow it up. We can be sure that once he mentions our issue, all media houses as well as social media will become "awashed" with whatever he says. However, I appealed to him NOT to attack the government, but help highlight the success of the YouWiN prog and how YouWiN 3 that would have been the most successful is been frustrated due to negligence. I also explained that some awardees were only given 10% some 20% of their tranches and they have resigned their jobs to focus on only YouWiN only to be frustrated by the gross negligence. At this point he booked an appointment with me for this Saturday 13th February, 2016; that he will want me to furnish him with facts and figures, because considering his status and how the media will grab whatever he will say, he want to be able to defend any statement that will be credited to him as the truth and nothing but the truth.

When federal government said money was not available to pay copers January allowance, Copers raised alarm via social media, now they have mandated CBN to release money for them from Monday, 8th February, 2016.

As far as we are quiet, YouWiN will continue to dribble us. All awardees should please support our moves.

And those who know other awardees should appeal to them not to sell out, or betray this our new move in any way.

At this point some of us might have to use the little connections we have to reach the government.

By the grace of God am connected to some top and powerful Nigerians whose words are always blown up by the media.

If awardees will cooperate with me, I want to link up with one of them, explain awardees plight to him and solicit his assistance in helping us appeal to the government.

Sincerely yours if he can do that the different media houses will blow up his appeal and I assure you that all appropriate quarters will hear of it: be it President, Vice President, Minister of Finance, Media aides to the presidency etc.

I will only make the move if I can get the approval of awardees, and there must not be fear, betrayal or any sell out.

He won't attack the government, i will explain to him the impacts of the programme in job creation and diversification of the economy in this time in Nigeria and how undue delay and not even knowing our fate are almost frustrating this great programme.

However, this move should not stop the open letter. So, I am in support that we continue with the open letter as fast as possible, while I also exploit this means.

The political statements and mails (lies) emanating from YouWiN Secretariat is unbearable.

And I also want to advise that once we start making our next move let us all remained focused and refused to be distracted by any so-called mail or information from YouWiN Secretariat EXCEPT alert.
Because whenever we are planning this kind of intelligent move, YouWiN Secretariat will just send us a deceptive mail of fake promise and we will drop the move and start waiting for their promise. This has been happening since September, 2015 and till date (7th February, 2016) it has been from one story to another.
