This is what you get when you ask a fake first degree holder to lead a state nicknamed fountain of knowledge. Fountain and knowledge indeed. |
How many times in a week is this guy visiting Lagos? Is it now that he knows that Lagosians are existing or why the frequent visitation when there are urgent and important official duties for him in Yobe and Bornu states. Nna bia, westerners are too westernized to be cajoled. |
In Ibadan,i bought it #120.00 today. Only God knows what is going to happen if this yeye transformation continues. |
ahaz:If una dey protect ur village why u wan com kill urself cos of another person town? Wetin concern u concern Lagos. Dem want Fashola and if u no gree then do the needful(hug transformer or go cross for railway) |
This man is just clueless saying he quoted someone who said "stealing is not corruption" can't GEJ use his senses to define corruption and stealing and then differentiate? His P.hd is questionable. |
With these, only God knows how and what is going to happen in the next three months in Nigeria. Things are not really in order, Allah come to our rescue. |
baybeeboi:If producing a Buhari is amistake as you had highlighted, then i fear for your future. If you can sit down to think and type the above, nothing stop you from thinking outside the box. Tribalism or religion aside,Gej is good but he is weak in taking some decisions for the betterment of this country,if he is not scared, let INEC prepare a level playing ground and see what the outcome of the election will be but before then, you have your future in your hands. If you believe your life is better now, give thanks to your fore fathers who made it better but make the life of your children the best so that they won't curse you in your grave when you are no more based on ur decision in 2015. Thanks. |
moderatorr1:Just cover your eyes in shame. What happened to WAEC Nigeria? Why WAEC Ghana? |
2Mekus:I believe you are an adult with a child's brain. Why would WAEC Ghana has information concerning a candidate in Nigeria when there is WAEC office in Nigeria who can give you detail information on the said issue? The exam was written in Nigeria for God's sake why would Ghana give you the result? It is like asking your uncle to tell you how your dad met your mum when in actual fact, your dad is alive, Why not ask your dad? Please, think outside the box and forget sentimentality. |
fuckerholic:..... but that DSS was not crazy when it said APC was trying to hack into INEC database, right? |
When will this man drop Buhari based campaign and say something reasonable about his plans for Nigerians? Nigerians are more patient to listen to you and your party's manifestoes and not GMB did this or did that. |
Why is he not annointed to tackle corruption and other related offences that is killing our country inside out? |
Well,it is nothing,it doesn't affect them as a man. I always find it VERY difficult to kill cockroaches talkless of rats and other rodents, though i killed snake twice by mistake or let me say by luck but in an ordinary situation count me out of such acts. |
Is this man a reasonable fellow? Saying Fashola has not built any stadium and keep repairing federal roads and that southwest was not developed by Jonathan because they had not contribute to his success. Now lets start, is Ogundipe aware that GEJ has more votes than any other presidential aspirants in d southwest during the 2011 elections? Is he saying pple came from the southsouth to vote for GEJ in the west? He said something about stadiums,is stadium now the yardstick for development in our country? Abi is building a stadium for hungry people the best way to give them dividend of democracy? Then F'ederal roads in Lagos, those plying those roads, are they from outside Nigeria? Are those roads not meant to be plied by Lagosians or are they meant for Federal follow follow like him? I am not saying Fashola is perfect but what he had done suppose to have been done by previous administration FG inclusive. If thay had done it then,we wouldn't be where we are today. GEJ deprived not only the southwest infrastructural development,he deprived all Nigerians living there abi Ogundipe want to tell me that it is only the Yorubas that are been deprived. Mr. Ogundipe, you don't need to tell us that your man Failed woefully,if you want sympathy ask for it don't condemn the entire region. If u are afraid to say the truth, then you are OJULOWO OMOALE YORUBA. |
To be candid,GEJ might award this contract but might not monitor the executioning of the project and what do you get when you are getting contradictory information and you fail to apply wisdom on which is the best for you and the country, you claim you are the best while in actual sense,YOU ARE THE FOOL. |

All due respect to your highly elevated position; the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Sir, it is with great sense of disappointment that I write you this letter. Like many others, you are among the few elder state men that I regard and respect so much in the country, not only because on your wealth of experience in leadership and politics, but also due to your manner of calmness and maturity. However, Sir, for some time now, I`ve been highly disappointed by some of your actions and inactions, most especially those related to the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians As you know Sir, the sole role of the legislative arm of government is much more than making law, changing and repealing it. Rather, it also involves all activities intended to shape up the executive, to correct them when they make mistakes and to call them to order when they going astray. But in the past few years Sir, you have not been giving strong corrective measures to the presidency for some of his actions and inactions as supposed. You have been trying to play neutral politics in most affairs that are germane to the nation`s interest. It appears to me that the fear to lose your seat as the Senate president is the key reason for this attitude of yours. Unfortunately, the truth is, you cannot be for the masses and at the same time be against them. It is either you are for them or you are against them. Also, it is better you lose your seat as the Senate president and be remembered for always defending the nation`s interest than being there and be irrelevant. The last invasion of the National Assembly (NASS) by members of the police force in Abuja happened under your watch. Although, you truly might not know about the whole scenario and you might not be pre-informed about the incidence. However, nothing should have stopped you from publicly condemning in strongly terms, I mean in strong terms, the actions of the police officers involved, and not just to sympathise with Honourable Tambuwal for the humiliation. Now I know you must be very embarrassed by the recent testimony of a divisional police officer- Idachaba James, attached to the National Assembly, who testified at the Ad-hoc committee investigating the incident, headed by Senator Ahmed Makarfi. In his testimony he revealed that it was not the Police Officers from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) that tear-gassed the speaker and other members of the House of Representatives, but rather your security details. Sir, the truth is, you actually brought the embarrassment on yourself. That is one of the things that happen to people that like to sit on the fence and trying to please everybody. Like you already know, much is expected of you as an elder state man and the least you can give to do the people is to always stand to protect the national interest first. It is not how long you are present in NASS that matters or how long you serve as Senate President that is important but it is how much positive impact that your presence and positions contributes to the development of the society that would be commended. Sir, I hope you would yield to this cautious note and stop this neutrality game of yours. The masses need you on their sides not the cabals. Thank you for your time. Yours faithfully, Ogundana Michael Rotimi |
THE embattled Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dr. Adewale Omirin, has reacted to the alleged directive by Governor Ayodele Fayose, asking the Commissioner of Police to arrest the 19 All Progressives Congress lawmakers in the state. Omirin, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Wole Olujobi, said that the APC lawmakers acted within the law to conduct their sitting in a public building in the state capital last Friday. He said, “The governor or the police cannot arrest us for performing our constitutional duty. Section 101 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria makes it explicit that the House can regulate its activities, including conducting its sittings in public buildings in the state capital. “The Supreme Court had also ruled that the House can conduct its sittings in public places in the state capital if conditions exist that endanger members in the conduct of their sittings. “Governor Fayose has kept armed thugs permanently in the House of Assembly to attack us. We can’t put ourselves in harm’s way, yet we have a responsibility to our constituents to make laws for good governance. That is why we followed the law to sit to consider issues on the ongoing constitutional amendment.” Omirin explained that the House had a responsibility to respond to the National Assembly demand to send Ekiti State contributions to the constitutional amendment process. “Ekiti State has just one House of Assembly. That is why the National Assembly acknowledged the receipt of our resolutions on the constitutional amendment. “If they are sure of their status, let them approach the National Assembly or the judiciary for recognition,” he added. Omirin said it was regrettable that Fayose had not learnt from his past experience when he allegedly instigated a constitutional crisis that led to the declaration of the state of emergency and the governor’s impeachment in 2006. He told the Ekiti CP, Taiwo Lakanu, not to allow himself to be dragged into the political fray in the state, warning that the governor would bear the consequences if he caused conditions that could threaten good governance in Ekiti. |
The immediate past United States Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, in separate events in New York City said the Nigerian government under President Goodluck Jonathan, squandered its oil resources, and indirectly helps corruption to fester in the Boko Haram troubled country. In the words of Hillary Clinton: “The government of Nigeria has been, in my view, somewhat derelict in its responsibility toward protecting boys and girls, men and women in northern Nigeria over the last years. “The Nigerian government must accept help – particularly intelligence, surveillance and recognizance help – their troops have to be the ones that (are) necessary, but they could do a better job if they accept the offers that are being made. Nigeria has made bad choices, not hard choices,” Clinton said. “They have squandered their oil wealth; they have allowed corruption to fester, and now they are losing control of parts of their (own) territory because they would not make hard choices.” Mrs. Clinton spoke with ABC-TV’s Robin Roberts on American national television, and also at a public function organized by the International Crisis Group. Later, the former Senator and First Lady made other critical remarks concerning Nigeria at a philanthropy parley, as she was widely quoted by several American media outlets, including CNN. Clinton stated the following position in the New York events she attended, challenging the credibility and quality of the country’s leadership under President Jonathan’s watch. “The seizure of these young women by this radical, extremist group, Boko Haram, is abominable, it’s criminal, it’s an act of terrorism, and it really merits the fullest response possible, first and foremost from the government of Nigeria. “The Nigerian government has failed to confront the threat, or to address the underlying challenges. Most of all, the government of Nigeria needs to get serious about protecting all of its citizens and ensuring that every child has the right and opportunity to go to school,” she said in her address to the function organized by the International Crisis Group. “Every asset and expertise should be brought to bear. Everyone needs to see this for what it is, it is a gross human rights abuse, but it is also part of a continuing struggle within Nigeria and within North Africa,” she added. Source:Abusidiqu.com |
NIJJAking:Are u now saying the thinking faculty of the Igbos is not functioning well? The Yorubas are not in anyway forcing you to do anything against ur wish. Vote for whoever u want and stop complaining. |
Baawaa:What could that change be? I guess it is GMB-#thechangenigerianeeds |
laimo:Sorry for dat,i meant some southerners not all the southerners.Whatever it is,sell your ideas to people without insulting or playing on their intelligence. I so much appreciate Buhari not only as a northerner but also as Nigerian with a lot of integrity. I respect your decision to vote for him cos i will vote for him too not because i hate GEJ but because we can't continue to leave in deception. God bless you and increase you in Wisdom. |
With the rate at which the southerners are responding to any issue concerning Buhari or APC,it is crystal clear that Nigeria is divided. I thought the priority should be our beloved country and not our ethnicity or region. Bia bikonu,You are a Nigerian because Nigeria still exist. Put Nigeria first,it doesn't matter wether you are a notherner or a southerner,we are all Nigerians. God bless the Arewas God bless the Biafrans God bless the Oduduwas and above all God bless Nigerians. Thank you.

What type of Toyata car can 600k buy |
What if he actually emerges the flagbearer? |
noblezone:This your analysis is wrong. Corruption and stealing can be done individually or collectively,it all depends on the circumstances surrounding it. Corruption is anything or action or word that is morally and ethically wrong and which will have negative impact on others. Based on this definition, are u now saying whatever stealing done by a person or collectivelly is morally or ethically right? Stealing, vulgar words, bribery, abuse of office etc are corruption. |
This Kure is just trying to hype his popularity. An Idiotic, senile man said d samething yesterday. |
Ok |
chukwudi44:Must you insult? |
This man had just said his mind on the state of the nation. I don't believe he should be criticized, what he said should rather be pondered upon. We don't really need to be sentimental here. If you agree with him, fine and if you don't, you have your reason(s), say it or act on it. what we need here is our country getting better whether you come from the minority or the majority doesn't matter. We should all be patriotic enough by putting Nigeria first in anything we want to do or say. |
excellence44:Dr.whoooooo |
The President of the Senate and Chairman of the National Assembly, Senator David Mark was on Thursday manhandled by members of the House of Representatives in protest of the action of security agents who prevented them from entering the National Assembly Complex on the ‘orders from above”. Mark had gone to the lower chamber shortly after shutting down the Senate, following the shooting of teargas by the Nigerian Police when members of the House who were refused entry into the complex forced their way in. Sources said he asked for the House to also be shut down. But aggrieved members of the House took out their anger on Mark as they assaulted him physically. Sources said a member of the House from Niger State slapped the Senate President in the process and he almost fell down from the combined assault of the members. It was gathered that the Senate President had to be immediately moved out of the chamber to save him from further physical assault. The feeling in the House is that Mark sold out the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal, in his face-off with the Presidency over his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress. Despite the decision of Mark to shut down the House, the Reps members went ahead with their sitting which was held in closed doors. Source:Abusidiqu.com |
