What is being tested is not comfrotability with poverty; I think the test is that of humility. Forgetting who you are, with all the allure of wealth, academic degrees and class of society whilst still maintaining touch with commonality is the deal. Untill women start paying groom price, make their own money, fend for the family, take care of in laws and stop thinking that sex is for sale and must be bought for their survival, that bill must not, I repeat, MUST NOT see the light of the day, nor the night. There's no need for the term "equality" in the bill. As I understand, it seeks is to increase the rights of females regarding inheritance, remarrying etc. I have absolutely no problem with that.

My grouse is with the so called equality charade. Its is misnomer and it is fake.

You are one of the saddening problems of Nigerian youths. The problem is that you people don't read and arent informed. Islam already has laws on what the legislature is aiming to implement, so why should they subject muslims to a new one??
They have been living with it for many years and there has never been problem of Inheritance et al In muslim domains because there is already a stipulated sharing formula.

Corp members in Enugu state now receive 895naira as state allowance and it's surprising that till date I haven't seen any news about it on blogs and forums. Corp members used to receive 10000 naira and now it's 895 Naira.
Pls tell me, what will 895naira do for Corp members?
1) it can't pay their rents because housing in Enugu state is expensive.
2) it can't pay their transport from their houses to their ppas in a month.
3) it can't even cook a pot of soup for a day, not to talk of a month.
These are only a few things 895naira cannot do cause the list goes on.
I don't know if it's the state government or if someone else is using money meant for Corp members. Pls I hope this gets to the right source. *my writing will improve with time *
