Oga Teddy there is this girl I met recently and I'm just so into her and I really do think she likes me; infact she seem to show obvious interest in me I already got her number but the issue now is that I don't really know how to start up a relationship and I just don't want to afford to get it wrong. Please I need help about what move to take first at the moment she's gone back to school and can only reach her through phone or text; I'm thinking of sending her a text but don't know how to go about it for the fear of taking a wrong step |
And where is Obasanjo's name on this list of looters? I don't belief this until I see Obj's name topping the list while leaving two to three spaces blank before listing the next person. And where the hell is Bola Ahmed Tinubu abi Atiku don't run such too? |
I really do not know much about Oyo politics but in my opinion I think Ajimobi has done better than his predecessors.Akala has ruled in Oyo state before same for Ladoja and I can't remember Oyo state been ruled any better than what Ajimobi has done; the credit Akala support gives to his government is that he lavishes money hence the nickname ATM and people could feel his presence anywhere he goes but that in my opinion does not define good governance and as for Ladoja who is so loved by teachers especially because they say he pays their salaries promptly aside that ask his supporters what his achievements were and they will they you he was handicapped from performing by the influence and interference of Adedibu there are not many things to point to as his achievements while in office, the masses bitterness against Ajimobi largely centres on the fact the say he demolished houses indiscriminately(some say without compensation) but no one cares to know if those houses have C of O or follows the masterplan. My heartfelt sympathy only goes to Seyi Makinde whom I preferred he's the only one whose hands are clean among all the contestants but as for others I think Ajimobi is a better candidate |
Why will that happen just because you are not satisfied with the outcome when there are proper channels to register your grievances and dissatisfaction |
The prejudice against women only helps to expose our immaturity politically. I was so happy with the news the lady from Taraba stood a chance of emerging bt if the reason she lost is largely due to the fact that she's a woman then we have a long way to go in correcting such impressions; we've seen women leaders of our age and how they've been able to carry through some even than their male folks the Chancellor of Germany is one of such but the problem is even mostly not with men but women who will rather have men whether competent or not rule over then than females. Women still constitute a larger percentage of the electorate so if, the awareness I think needs to come from the females |
amarachi06:bt she's the first elected female governor |
pinardave:you are most silly for ur comments the people have made their choice and what made u think Agbaje was going to win anyway before u r spewing out hate and frustration because the candidate of the party u igbos blindly support lost flatly why not grow up and quit the animosity; because u supported Agbaje now u think d yorubas also have to go in it directio? why will a Yoruba man be blaming the failure of APC in an eastern state as a consequence of tribalism? You arehere ranting as if Agbaje ever stood a chance of winning and as for being slaves to Tinubu it shows ur level of understanding and frustration unlike in the South East where u lots all go blindly in one direction, as u will observe in the presidential election for example both the pdp and the apc had significant numbers unlike in the east where the ruling party almost had 97% of votes in most of ur states and the south south too. It was only in the south west that the contest was so tight and close and the trend has been observed in the election of yesterday while d same cannot be said of the south east and south south where more than 90% of votes is going to the party u folks have been cursed with despite their obvious mediocre performance |
I don't see Ajimobi losing this election Ladoja and Akala can try again later |
Pls I nid the link to download Oxford Advanced Learner Dictionary pro version |
pls I nid d link to download Oxford advanced learner dictionary the one earlier given is saying "download failed because resources could not be found" after I tried to install it |
Igbos have always been the ones alienating theirselves from power by making out enemies unnecessarily; for them it is a case of my enemy's enemy is my friend and such sentiments have always clouded their choices and reasoning and at the end they come out crying foul and feel hard done by when in reality they are the architect f their predicaments |
splashbaby:just what it seems. Since the abortion of biafra the igbos have made theirselves sidelined by picking out northerners and the Yorubas as enemies and will not subject to logical reasoning but rather assume that my enemy's enemy is my friend even when they stand no chance to gain anything from giving such support; I've been previlege to have words with a lot of igbo people and can confirm that most of them still smart from the botched biafran seccession and as such conditioned their thinking and decision making on this subject matter. If anyone question Yoruba not supporting Jonathan then I'll ask if he was not massively voted for in the west in 2011 and still got significant numbers even now; while he was acting president even while certain figures from his tribe disowned himt the Yoruabas stood by him and fought against the forces of the cabals |
resty4:.Are you talking about the predictions from those rogues and wolves in sheep's clothing? |
Austin4lif:if there is any tribe that has always based it's decision on sentiments then it is the ibos Yoruba's over time have always shown neutrality and refused to cloud their reasonings with sentiments and bias like the ibos who see anyone from the north or south west as betrayal not minding if you possess the credentials for governance or not but will rather support someone they think has an igbo blood(even though he is not in any way related) despite obvious signs of incompetence surrounding him |
