manie: As a matter of personal policy, I do not deal with one-man owned or small stockbroking houses. The big and reputable ones known by me are based on the Island.

If I may ask, why the preference for brokers that are based in Ikeja with the internet you can deal with a good broker wherever you may be.

@manie thanks...the preference is cos of accesibility,i jst wnt to open a cscs account for my shares (certificate) which are still papers right now & later trade off some possibly for money.Then i stay around ikeja.
I also don't know the scope of operation of the stock broking firms.

yemadek: I'm looking to commence a building and i need a very good architect to draw the plan of the building for me.
I had a guy i payed to do the architecture design and he brought me a crap drawing which i disregarded.
I decided to go online and make research.

LOCATION OF LAND - Lagos, Nigeria

My personal plan :-
I have a full plot of land 60 X 120 already fenced and gated
Its going to be a one storey building with 6 flats of 2 bedroom flat each.

Meaning Ground floor will have (2 bedroom flat X 3)
and first floor will have (2 bedroom flat X 3)

I want each flat to have - One toilet and bathroom in the middle of the 2 rooms (not en-suite)
One visitors toilet only in the living room
Dinning, Living room, kitchen and store.

I will be renting the flats out so that is why i am keeping it as simple as possible.

stockbull: financial stock issues in relation to stock broker

i don't understand what u mean by the quoted statement cos my intention is made clear enough here. I mean bank stock, of course i can explain if i see the broker."Financial stock" or not what i need is a stockbroker.I expect a +ve response if u are one.
