IME1: First off, so sorry about your phone. Secondly, you will need to work with your service provider and police. Third, hope you have the packet of your phone? Your I ME number is on it.

Talking of replacement, in think chrome is good, I use it on my tecno spark and I've not had any regrets
timijoseph01: It's no more news that our most loved browser for several years is fast losing its credibility.. I actually thought I was the only one getting frustrated with the recent updates of Opera Mini browser until a topic made front page to reflect the frustration of other Nigerians too and even Worldwide on the Android PlayStore User Comments.. Our great browser is now congested with Ads, and WebPage crashes at will (goal.com lovers can relate) . I have been a die-hard and loyal Opera Mini user for over 10years.. Even before the arrival of android phones in the Nigerian Market.. Back in the days of Nokia Java phones to Symbian phones, Opera Mini has always stand out.. Known for its 1) Simple GUI (Easy to Use) 2) Quickness 3) Ability to work under poor network condition (Nigerian Glo Users can relate) 4) Smart Display of WebPage (Just open nairaland on Opera and UcWeb then compare the two) . As it stands now I have not been able to find any worthy replacement for Sir Opera.. Although there are several other browsers like Chrome (for opening desktop pages) Uc browser (for heavy downloading) which are cool too but I don't see them a DIRECT replacement for Opera Mini.. . So the Question is.. Have you any browser capable of taking the place of Opera Mini..? Do let us know..
Not bad, but I expected a higher ram from the camon CM, not this 2gb am seeing
tfortony: So I got to attend the Launch of TECNO's first device of 2018, the TECNO Camon CM and in this video I give you my first impressions about the device and all what you need to know from the Launch.
The TECNO Camon CM is an Android 7.0 Device which is clocked at 1.3GHz and is a Quad Core Processor. It also supports 4G LTE.
It comes in Champagne Gold, Sky Black and City Blue Colors.
The Display of the TECNO Camon CM is 5.7 inch LCD and it has a 13 Megapixel camera on the front (with one flash) and on the back of the phone (with Quad (4-) Flash).
However, in all of these it's got a 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM all priced at a modest N47,000.
I think I understand when you say you are finding it difficult to port bcoz of the camera quality at that price, maybe now with the introduction of the camon CM that shouldn't be an issue right?
MizMyColi: I am not privy to Tecno's account books, so I really don't know per se.
First, people complained a lot about the battery draining very fast, and there was also the issue of multitasking. An update was released recently that's touted to fix that. In my opinion, I would not say it's a complete fix, but I think that it is better, way better than what I used to experience as per battery issues.
These aside, I really did enjoy using my Camon CX. Of course, I still use it, but I might port soon....even that is hard at this point because I am yet to find a phone that gives me the kind of camera quality that this phone gives to me at its price, or even a bit higher.
Also, I found that the device is quite popular....It gives me a sense of pride knowing I was among its first users and those who spoke glowingly about the device, who knows, my opinion might have influenced a person or two. Everywhere I turn, I find that someone is using the device, other times, two people maybe.
In my opinion, it did really well in the market, and this should be an avenue for Tecno to consolidate on all what they did right in the Camon CX and work on the things they did not do too well on (battery and multi tasking)
So, fam, whats your take about the Camon CX success rate in your respective states' tech market?
koskilala: I like coming on here cuz I get educated. Nevertheless a good phone is a good phone whether there's another brand that is better Good work tecno and remember there's always room for improvement
Sure but you'll agree with me that at least after phones like the cx and cx air, the camon CM shouldn't be coming with a 2gb ram
I see no reason for comparison, the both phones have superb cameras, it's the camon after all
Josh1920: The camon series has been known to feature the second best cameras Tecno produces. I said second because, despite the fact that Tecno advertises camon smartphones as their camera flagships, the phantom series are known to feature better cameras.
Last year Tecno hit the market with the Camon CX with a lot of bells and whistles about the cameras it featured. If you ask me, I would say the camon CX was a huge success.
Tecno is back again the year with the camon CM, CM for C-more learn more...
